Let me start off with they service... it wasn't all that great! My boyfriend and I walked in and didn't even get greeted we just got the hostess looking at us and looking back at the other one and giggling after she seated us (btw the seat wasn't even clean) we waited about at least 15 minutes before we even got our drink order when the waitress finally came up she got our drink and food order and after that our food took a while too and when we got it, it was COLD! everything was cold and my boyfriend got a french toast slam and they only brought out two french toast and it comes with four... honestly i'm very disappointed and I will not be going back the only good thing about that restaurant is the water and even that was questionable i'm honestly disgusted do better denny's read more

I come to this Denny's quite often as it is very close to my work. I am always seated quickly and greeted by a friendly host. The service is always impeccable and the staff has always been attentive. My last server Collen C was simply wonderful. The menu has become more diverse lately offering more healthy options but the breakfasts are always the best. Service wasn't so great. One of the manager's that was handling the food was so bad at it. Our food was up there for 15 minutes and he touch the trays they were on at least 6 times and kept putting it back on the shelf. The waitress came by and said the food will be up soon. I told her it's been sitting up there for a very long time. She went up and got it all and brought it to our table. The food was cold when she brought it. Not sure why this Denny's has such poor ratings but my husband and I went here every Sunday after church for two consecutive months. Every time we went, it was pretty busy as we walked in but died down shortly after being seated. The wait was only about 10-15min each time. Our servers were always pleasant, they were never rude and always nice. It's a pretty small Denny's so feels a little cluttered. We had a few different severs and they were all equally as good. Sometimes they may have been a little busy and unable to cater to us as best they could if it weren't as busy but like I said they never gave bad or horrible service. One older woman who only served us once, gave us extremely good service. The food was always good and always looked just like the picture! The food always came out quickly! The pancakes were good! They were not my favorite only because I'd prefer a different batter, maybe a softer, more chewy, moist, thinner, melt in your mouth, buttery type of pancake... Their buttermilk pancakes don't really taste like buttermilk pancakes, just plain, thick, fluffy, pancakes, and not very moist... otherwise the pancake is still pretty enjoyable because everything they top the pancakes with. The different types of combinations always taste great. The hearty breakfast skillet is really good!! The following pancakes are the ones we like and would recommend: sticky bun pancakes, peanut butter cup pancakes, pumpkin pancakes, and super blackberry pancakes! We haven't been to Denny's in a while since we wanted to try some other breakfast spots in town but we will definitely return to this Denny's whenever we're in the mood to try some more things on the menu! read more

I love Denny's but today I was so disappointed. First of all the waitress was nice, and friendly. But the service was horrible. There were only three table to wait on so they can't say it was busy. I asked for coffee it was cold I asked for a new cup. Second of al I asked for creamer and sugar and it took 10 minutes the first time. Third of all my mom nor I got napkins and she forgot about them thru our breakfast. Fourth of all I asked for ketchup and I had already finished eating my main dish. Just ate at Denny's. The food was good. But be prepared to be there awhile. Remington, our server was great. He kept apologizing for the delay in receiving our food. He even gave us a free bowl of fruit and had our meal discounted because of the wait. Hopefully the get more employees/cooks soon. read more

Service has always been slow at this location but today it was nonexistent. Although our orders were taken in a timely manner (it was busy) we sat and watched people around us come in, eat and leave and still we had not been served!! No manager in sight. Denny's who hasn't been there came to the Clovis store near the new Walmart, took awhile to be seated only two waitress on duty running around with their heads cut off trying to wait on there tables and host to sit people down not a good comb; as for the food it's cheap in price and decent for breakfast you get what you pay for. read more

My wife and I eat at this particular Dennys at least once a week as this restaurant is very close to our house. We've had several different servers, all did a great job. Our latest server, Abram, was very pleasant, energetic, efficient and ensured our meals were served quickly. We tried their new burgers and they were awesome! Better than that Yum place. Several choices available. Found out from Abram that you can customize any of their burger choices pretty much any way you want them. He likes to add two patties, which are huge, to the double cheeseburger! A quadruple cheeseburger! Awesome! I also really liked the Bourbon Chicken Skillet, which I've had twice now. We've had their famous breakfast Slams several times, sometimes even for dinner, and I've never had a bad one. I am a retired health inspector, so I notice a lot of things regarding food safety that most people don't see. I was very pleased at the cleanliness of the facility and the proper safe food practices I witnessed. I give them an "A". read more

Ok first of all, there was a bug crawling on the table just right there, right next to the food. Second, the onion rings were bad, I felt like they just went across the parking lot to Walmart and bought them from the frozen section. Not only that but they burned my friends mouth because they were extremely hot. The waitress kept giving us mixed signals and was confusing. She also said "no" at first when we asked for ranch. The best service by far at this location! We came in on a Saturday a little after dinner and it was very clean. Food came hot and delicious. The only thing is the veggie patty was good but please get the beyond Burgers... they are the best vegetarian burgers out there and I'm sure will make me and other vegetarians want to come in more often! read more

Popped in here because we had just finished running and I was hungry like the wolf!!! I ordered the bacon sausage omelet and it came with four pieces of sourdough toast and hash browns. I only ate the omelet and gave all the carbs to my son who devoured them! I finished the omelet rather quick as I was flipping hungry and it was reallllly good! My son seemed to thoroughly enjoy his toast and hash browns and chocolate milk... oh ya this was the first time he had chocolate milk and he was chugging it! Towards the end our server legit disappeared so we just went up to the register and the cashier basically guessed that she disappeared and kinda laughed as in maybe she does this often lol but for the limited time we saw her she was super personable and enjoyable as a server till she went MIA. BEWARE!!!! This is the worst Denny's we've ever been to. I ordered one thing and they brought out my food and it was incorrect. I mentioned to my waitress and she had attitude like I was burdening her. She brought me back my food adding the items they left out and microwaved until it was basically ruined. My whole tables food were cold and my toast was cold. I asked if I could get fresh toast and she brought it back cold and burnt 19 minutes later. We will never come back! read more

We have visited many Denny's in the area and this one in Clovis on several occasions. We received okay service in most of them. Last though at this Danny's we may have changed our mind on which one we will be going to from now on. Raemie, our server, gets "thumbs up" from us on service, attitude and overall friendliness. She was very attentive to our requests and kept the coffee coming. We will be back to this location just because of her service. She also took time to get to know us and went the extra mile on showing us how it feels to be an appreciated customer. Do yourselves a favor and request RAEMIE the next time you stop in.
