5/25/25 Monthly Meet-up with the guys and today two Wife's joined us. 14 in the group this morning comprised of a Lawyer, Pilot & Flight Instructor, Clergy, two Veterans, Engineer, and Pharmacist Tech that always make for a lively wide ranging conversation. Love this group! Parking 5/5 Our group meets early before the breakfast rush and there is plenty of spaces available. Food 5/5 Great breakfasts & selections. Food comes out fresh and hot even for a group our size. I had the Philly Cheesesteak omelette and my wife had the Chicken fried steak. Both were excellent. BTW Who would have guessed Denny's offers whole Jalapeños? Theirs were grilled perfectly and had a nice bite too. ; ) Service 5/5 Today our wonderful server was Karen. Im alway impressed how well our server and kitchen do for us to get food out so we can eat together, kudos to the Denny's crew today! Ambiance 5/5 Classic Denny's diner. Special thanks to the Wives who joined us, Mary & my Wife for putting up with our breakfast banter and fellowship. $46.23 with tip. Eat well my Friends- SYOY

Dirty table

This is one of the worst Denny's I have been to in the last few months. First of all we were seated at a dirty table that had a dried white mystery liquid. Additionally, my wife normally doesn't have an issue getting the bread substituted with fruit due to a wheat allergy. However, the waitress (Marlen G)wanted to argue with her about only having option was products that contained wheat and then wanted to up charge to substitute the hashbrowns with bread or pancakes. The steaks were also cooked incorrectly with old looking meat that was close to the best by date If you have a wheat allergy, do not come to this location. They don't care if they cause allergic reactions or shorting customers food. Do better, train better, clean better. Update: even though we informed the waitress of my wife's wheat allergy, she failed to tell the kitchen. They put pancake batter in the omelette "to make it look fluffier". This caused my wife to have an allergic reaction.

I ordered on door dash thinking the hashbrowns looked crispy and amazing. Instead I got rabbit food for hashbrowns because they are raw. At least you know it's somewhat fresh. Lastly the eggs Benedict was excellent. But in my opinion, false advertising.

Shades with dried splattered food, window sills with dried food and dust covering the splatter

This is the last time I come here. It is a gross and disgusting restaurant the floors are filthy, the walls splattered with food. It looked dried too, because dust covered the food. It smelled like dirty mop water. The more I looked around the more disgusted I felt. I am far too deep to leave now but I will never come back. How is this place still open????? Service was good and fast thank good.

Eggs, hash browns, and bacon

We were able to get right in on Father's Day. It took a little while to be seated as the hostess had several customers in line checking out. The menu is okay. I think similar restaurants have more options. My son was disappointed there were no waffles. Prices are okay. Most items were around $10. The restaurant is clean. Our waitress, Karen, was very nice. My father and son had a stack of pancakes with bacon. My mom enjoyed her omelet. My crepes were okay. I ate the eggs, hash browns and bacon later. I'd go back. It's fine for a chain restaurant.

Foods are yummy. The supervisor Rogelio cooked good. Very efficient supervisor. Anna our server is so polite.

I'd been meaning to try this location after seeing a few of my fellow Yelper friends review this place. Just like they said, this place did not disappoint! Serving up quality diner food with friendly service, classic hits, and blast from the past decor. What We Ordered: - Steak & Eggs: Under $20?! Count me in! Seasoned well and cooked perfectly to order for both the over easy eggs and medium rare steak. Breakfast perfection! - Patty Melt: My boyfriend said it was delicious, and the small bite I tried was great. You can tell they season their burger patties. Honestly, we both left very impressed as all the food was seasoned well and cooked beautifully. Who says diner food can't be done well?! Nana Dee's has set the standard for diner food!

Hoosiers on the other hand did. Their biscuit is most definitely fresh and didn't have that chalky taste. The gravy itself wasn't runny. If anything, it was rich with flavor. Oh what I would give to have another bite of it. What's interesting too is that, the biscuit and gravy was only a side. I loved the cheese and spinach with this omelette. The hash browns also had a crisp exterior. Our server was exceptionally nice too! To think we almost switched restaurants because they were so busy and I had to catch a flight. On top of the great food, the prices are super reasonable. And for $5, you can get a Tito's and cranberry -- anytime, any day. I don't know many restaurants offering deals like that anymore. Never thought I'd have to make a negative post for this restaurant, but it's time to speak up…read more I used to love coming here a few years ago for my steaks/carrots. I'm the only one of my family who still kept making a 30+ minute drive because it was a decent price for decent quality. They also have amazing carrots (sometimes). Over the years, especially nowadays, I cannot say the same thing now. You may get a good steak, or it may be a horrible steak. It may be seasoned perfectly, or you can receive overseasoned/underseasoned. You can order how you want your steak, but it depends on the cook. You may get an overcooked steak or undercooked. You may receive only part of your order if you order takeout. The carrots may be absolutely delicious one time, horrible the next time. Quality control is a major issue here recently. I have always been the one in my family to say "Oh it's not a big deal, I'm sure they're busy and just got the order wrong," etc. but this time I cannot think of an excuse. To order an 8 oz steak, paying for an 8 oz steak - only for that steak to have an absurd amount of fat to where it basically turned into around 5 oz, I am genuinely speechless this time. I am a regular customer here, and while I've had really horribly made food and really well made food, this inconsistency is not okay. I don't think the 30+ minute drive is worth it anymore after this experience. I have also noticed the managers that work here now compared to a few years back don't really seem to care if they get your business or not. You can tell them part of your order is wrong, and they stare at you as if you'll gladly eat it anyway until you have to verbalize that you would like it redone. Overall, it's been a pretty bad experience lately, and I just don't see it being worth it anymore. Edit: I decided to give them another shot today, the manager I spoke to was very kind about everything after I had explained what had happened last time and said they would make sure it would not happen. I do appreciate how kind they were. Fingers crossed on the meal tonight!

We stopped in on a Wednesday around 1 PM expecting it to be quiet... and instead found the place happily buzzing with families, pilots, airport staff, and pilots. First thing you notice? The people. The servers have clearly been there for years, and it shows. They greet regulars by name, remember orders, and make everyone feel like they belong there. That kind of service is rare these days and it sets the tone right away. The space itself is cozy but surprisingly roomy. There's a classic countertop (which I absolutely love), plenty of seating, and even outdoor tables for those beautiful Arizona days when you want sunshine and a side of airplane watching. Being right at the airport adds a fun little bonus -- you can catch planes taking off while you eat. Now let's talk about the food -- because wow. The menu is classic American comfort with a Mediterranean twist, and everything tastes fresh, made-to-order, and high quality. I ordered the mushroom burger, which was perfectly cooked and loaded with flavor. One of my sons went classic with a hamburger topped with bacon -- simple, juicy, and exactly what a great burger should be. My other son ordered the chicken shawarma sandwich, and that one might have stolen the show. Tender, flavorful chicken wrapped up and -- great touch -- stuffed with fries inside. He absolutely loved it. The portions were generous, the prices were very reasonable, and every bite tasted like it was made with care. It's the kind of place where the food is excellent, the service is even better, and the atmosphere just makes you want to linger a little longer. Great food. Friendly people. Cozy vibe. Airplanes taking off in the background. Honestly? Amazing. If you're near Chandler Airport, this spot is absolutely worth the stop.

From the moment we walked in, it felt like we were an inconvenience rather than welcomed guests. There was a group of servers standing around chatting, and no one acknowledged us for several minutes. After being seated, it took about 10 minutes before a server came over just to offer water and ask about drinks. We placed our drink order, and while the coffee came in a carafe, it wasn't even hot. The rest of the drinks trickled out later. Then it was another 20+ minutes before the server came back to take our food order. We ordered two simple build-your-own breakfasts and an Ultimate Grilled Cheese (no fries), plus two Cobb salads to go. Nothing complicated--yet the food took a long time to come out. During that entire wait, our server never checked on us once. No updates, no refills, nothing. When the food finally arrived, we ate, and again--no check-in, no "how is everything," no refill offers. Eventually, she dropped the check off without a word. We had to remind her about the two Cobb salads we ordered to go. She said they'd be right out, and a couple minutes later they showed up with a revised bill. Before leaving, we checked the salads--and that was the final straw. For $18, they were basically side salads. No cheese, no grilled chicken, no avocado, no croutons, no green onions, and not even any hard boiled eggs--just iceberg lettuce, a few tomatoes, bacon, and ranch dressing. Completely unacceptable for what's supposed to be a Cobb salad. We waited at the table for about 5 minutes for someone to come back--no one did. So we went up front and stood there another 5 minutes while multiple staff members ignored us, continuing their closing routines. Not a single person asked if we needed help, and our server was nowhere to be found. At that point, we left the salads behind, paid for the rest of the meal, and walked out. Terrible service from start to finish, and the food quality didn't make up for it. We won't be back.

You order at the counter, and then you either get a seat number and choose a seat or wait at the counter for pick up. There was a decent sized menu of bbq options, sides and drinks. The dessert display was filled with what looked to be DELECTABLE goodies! :) (this is what I'd try when I come back, FOR SURE!). I ordered the double meat platter with a half rack of ribs and brisket. The sides were chose were baked beans and Mac and cheese. The platter came with the two rolls, as well. This was to share with one other person. I'd say the ribs were okay, not my favorite! The brisket, on the other hand, had a PERFECT Smokey taste. The Mac and cheese was okay and so were the baked beans (they were super sweet, if that's what you're going for!). Add the regular bbq sauce on the side for dipping and you've got a tasty meal! After dining, we were able to go around the antique shop in the back. It was HUGE! And it kept GOING AND GOING! There here vendors of all sorts from furniture to home goods to jewelry to clothes/shoes. There's a little something for everyone here! There was even a hidden (I guess not hidden if you know about it), second hand, vintage clothing store in the very back. I didn't walk out with anything, but it was as worth the window shopping!
