Have not been for years. I forgot about all the old antiques and cool treats for sale in the store up front. I ordered the pancake and eggs for breakfast. What impressed me was the smooth buttermilk pancakes and the real butter and pure maple syrup. I will come again to try their chocolate pecan pie.

    Nice roaring fire!

Cracker Barrels are the same everywhere in the US. Predictable, basic and exactly what you expect. The restaurants all look the same inside. Cracker Barrel stores are full of tchotchkes and retro candy. Excellent service. Roaring fireplace. Clean as a whistle. The cup of chicken dumpling soup was tasty but not hot enough. The grits - delicious as always. Turnip greens, one of my favourite US southern sides was disappointing. The "spicy" chicken breast was juicy and tasty. Cracker Barrel is an institution in the US. Unassuming, no nonsense, standard fare. But always polite with excellent service.

Food came out quick. Very tasty and enjoyable. Extremely busy place. Loud and energetic environment. Clean and friendly staff.

The waiting area outside is cute with the rocking chairs, it made for an authentic experience. The inside was a bit overstimulating as people are packed inside and the clutter from all of the trinkets and historical items. The breakfast portions were massive and generous with the toppings, it was so yummy. However both me and my girlfriend found that the chicken and country fried steak were a bit salty though. All of the employees we encountered were so sweet and nice. Would try again, the cheesecake pancakes looked amazing.

Same old good American country breakfast and atmosphere. Food was comforting and ok, not exceptional. Gravy was Blane. enjoyed the peg game board on table with my son. And husband played with him too. 2 person game.

Knowing Cracker Barrel doesn't take reservations, I was understandably nervous when my Mother-in-law decided she wanted to celebrate her 99th birthday here - along with 17 of her family and friends. I called a week ahead of time and spoke with Erica, who assured me that, regardless, they would "take care of us." Well, I'm here to tell you that Erica was a good as her word! Within minutes of our arrival they had our tables set up, water served and drink orders taken. We had the great luck of having Jay as our server. He handled our large and boisterous group with grace and humor. Our food was served promptly and came to the table good and hot! He kept us entertained and patiently took multiple pictures with several cameras while standing on a chair! This is a great location and Jay is a true asset. Thanks for helping us celebrate #99!

Hey guys stopped in today for lunch with the family. I have always loved the feel of cracker barrel old school store and dining. The host was very nice and we got sat right away. Are server was Jessica her service was okay. I order drinks and took some time to get them. I look around for them and couldn't be found. We order our food I got the Louisiana Style Shrimp Skillet. My sides were onion petals and Mac and cheese and got biscuits. It comes with a garlic bread. I said no rice but they gave it to me anyways. The rice I believe was not cooked all the way still hard. The shrimp had good flavor but was rubbery and swimming in sauce. I thought it being Louisiana style it would have a little kick to it but it didn't which was okay. The petals were great and Mac n cheese was so creamy and piping hot. During our time the server checked maybe 2 times on us. My mom got chicken and dumplings which was amazing. I waited for my refill for a while she stoped and said I'll be right back took about 10mins for that. We asked for Togo box's and then paid and left. I would understand if it was busy for the timing but it was not busy at all. The only thing that saved this trip was my sides. Hopefully if we stop again the service is better.

    My delicious breakfast

Tracey our server was the best!! Took care of us and made us feel special. Keep up the good work Tracey

Nothing says lunch like having breakfast for lunch and as we all know, that's totally fine. One of these days I'll try dinner, but until then, I'll stick with the Grandmamma's Breakfast as it covers all the things I want. Customer service was great and they were prompt to clean tables and get things ready for the next guest.

We stopped in for a family breakfast at this Cracker Barrel and had a great time! I haven't been to one in a very long time and was impressed by the breakfast options and how the food came out. We all got some type of special, mine included steak tips, we had biscuits and gravy, hash browns etc and the coffee was great! We felt comfortable and the servers we interacted with were very friendly and helpful with any questions or needs. The restaurant is clean and the gift shop had a lot of selection which is fun if you have some kids that want to spend some time and energy in the shop!

Love the food at Cracker Barrel but this location smells like there's a full blown sewage leak or someone opened up a full can of butt.

You really can't go wrong here. Service was awesome--friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. We also loved the outdoor seating, which made for a really nice, relaxed vibe. From the moment we walked in, it felt like we were an inconvenience rather than welcomed guests. There was a group of servers standing around chatting, and no one acknowledged us for several minutes. After being seated, it took about 10 minutes before a server came over just to offer water and ask about drinks. We placed our drink order, and while the coffee came in a carafe, it wasn't even hot. The rest of the drinks trickled out later. Then it was another 20+ minutes before the server came back to take our food order. We ordered two simple build-your-own breakfasts and an Ultimate Grilled Cheese (no fries), plus two Cobb salads to go. Nothing complicated--yet the food took a long time to come out. During that entire wait, our server never checked on us once. No updates, no refills, nothing. When the food finally arrived, we ate, and again--no check-in, no "how is everything," no refill offers. Eventually, she dropped the check off without a word. We had to remind her about the two Cobb salads we ordered to go. She said they'd be right out, and a couple minutes later they showed up with a revised bill. Before leaving, we checked the salads--and that was the final straw. For $18, they were basically side salads. No cheese, no grilled chicken, no avocado, no croutons, no green onions, and not even any hard boiled eggs--just iceberg lettuce, a few tomatoes, bacon, and ranch dressing. Completely unacceptable for what's supposed to be a Cobb salad. We waited at the table for about 5 minutes for someone to come back--no one did. So we went up front and stood there another 5 minutes while multiple staff members ignored us, continuing their closing routines. Not a single person asked if we needed help, and our server was nowhere to be found. At that point, we left the salads behind, paid for the rest of the meal, and walked out. Terrible service from start to finish, and the food quality didn't make up for it. We won't be back.

I ordered the breakfast nachos with beans and subbed the shredded pork for bacon. It was a lot of food. It was delicious though very much a chilaquile type dish. The French toast does have that fried flavor to it which isn't my favorite but it was good. Definitely a different type than typical smashed looking French toast dishes at breakfast spots. The service stood out immediately--our server was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything arrived quickly and exactly as ordered. The food itself was hearty and satisfying. The steak breakfast was cooked well and paired perfectly with the traditional breakfast sides. The Shasta Scramble was flavorful and filling, and the drinks were kept refreshed throughout the meal. Everything came out hot and well prepared, showing the kitchen clearly takes pride in consistency. What made the visit especially enjoyable was the combination of comfort-food portions, efficient service, and a laid-back diner environment. It felt like the kind of place where you can settle in, enjoy a solid meal, and leave happy. A great stop for a dependable, satisfying breakfast in Chandler.

Always hoping a local recommendation turns out great. *Service: the service was fair. Our waitress spent most of the time sitting in the booth across from us on her phone and checked in occasionally. A few times we had to ask for things we needed. Nothing rude, just not especially attentive or engaged. Definitely didn't feel like her #1 priority. *Food: I ordered the tuna *melt*. It was alright, but nothing to write home about. The tuna itself was relatively cold (should have been warm on a melt) and lacked flavor, the cheese wasn't melted (it's a "melt", right?), and the bread was good. I dipped and drenched in salt, pepper, ranch and hot sauce to give it some flavor. The fries were good, hot and tasty. Overall, it felt like a mid-level café sandwich made by a basic "cook", not a well curated restaurant sandwich. My lunch buddy ordered a smothered omelette that looked great, and he said it was very good, so that was good. *Ambiance: the atmosphere was decent. Very basic, a bit cold feeling, café-like, casual, and reasonably comfortable. Nothing stood out strongly other than it seemed pretty clean and bright. *Value: my tuna melt and fries, with no drink, was $16. Not great, not terrible. It felt like an $8-$10 sandwich max for what I got, not a standout value. I posted a picture of their specials board so you can get a feel for the value. *Overall: everything here was fair, food, service, and ambiance while value was not great. Nothing bad, nothing memorable. A three-star experience for me. I wouldn't rush back, but wouldn't avoid it if I was in the area and others wanted to go. *Update: I have a strong reputation for detailed, honest, and trustworthy reviews. What we experienced is accurately and honestly captured in this review. There were no misunderstandings, our experience is captured exactly as reviewed.
