I ordered 5 of the salt and pepper wings, and 5 of the chicken and waffles wings, both were dry rubs. Each order of 5 wings comes with ranch and celery which was nice. The wings were good! This is our favorite location and Carissa is our favorite waitress. We only get here once or twice a year and she remembers our preferences. Nice! Lunch time special can't be beat. For under $6 you get a huge slice of pizza and a soda. They always seems to be fresh out the oven too. I would love to know how many slices sell a day. Used the bathroom here for the first time. 2 stalls for women. One that is handicapped accessible. The stuff you have to see is clean but it does not get a cleaning like at home. After about 22 months since my last Yelp review of this Native location, the wing size has *not* improved. If anything, they may have gotten even smaller (see photo for example)! The sauce is still plentiful and has the same great Native kick in the Hot variety. Beers are still great, atmosphere is good for a neighborhood sports bar, service is fine. Came here for the UFC fight. The atmosphere was great for the fight. There were enough screens and the volume and seating was well spread out. I had to sit at the bar which ended up being an interesting experience for me. I kept to myself but that didn't stop some people. I had a difficult time picking what to order but settled on the California Cluck with no tomatoes. It was pretty good. I love pretty much anything with avocados as the ingredient. The chicken was cooked well and the avo was fresh and ripe. I liked the fries so much I ate them all. Heck I ate my whole new which I normally don't do. My hike earlier worked up an appetite for sure. I would definitely come back and try something else. The reward program seems pretty decent as well. Apparently the curly fries aren't on the menu anymore, but you can still get them if you ask. The basket was pretty small, but the fries were tasty. Happy hour specials are decent, nothing to rave about. I remember the pizza we had last time (months ago) was really good. Service is hit or miss. On this trip, once I socialized with our waiter a bit, he was pretty cool, nice and attentive. It completely depends on who you get. The food came out slowly, especially considering all we ordered were wings and fries, probably shouldn't have taken 30 minutes. It's a pretty hectic and loud place when it's busy, but relatively comfortable. The bar space is tight, but has good TV selection. This is a good place for us to come to occasionally, not a regular spot. Will we be back? Ya, probably, at some point, won't run here every chance we get, but won't avoid it like the plague either (like Zipps). read more

OK just so everyone is aware this location sucks!! I have been to Native grill in Mesa, Tempe ans San Tan Valley and this one is frankly terrible! Three of us went for dinner, ordered 50 wings plus mozzarella sticks, one soda, one iced tea, one margarita. The tea tasted like water. The "blended" margarita had huge ice chunks and was 1/2 syrup and water 1/2 floating ice chunks. Disgusting! The wings when they arrived were soooo salty I could only finish 4 wings out of the 5 flavors we got, and I'm a HUGE salt loving person! This was waaaay too much. Also couldn't discern what wing flavors were what..... that's never happened. The lemon pepper and salt and vinegar tasted the same and the Mango habenero and spicy honey mustard tasted the same. All with too much salt. Asked for boxes for the 35+ wings we didn't eat, got one box. No lids for the ranch until we asked for them. Service was ok, this is not the waitress fault, it's a kitchen issue. Only reason we took home what was left was we paid over $100. That's one date night down the drain. Native is a huge favorite of my extended family! Even in the pandemic, it has a great energy. My sister's family know all the servers, and they are attentive and welcoming. The menu is extensive- I usually get the chicken wings and a salad. We were all talking about burgers, so I got the craving, and ordered the hangover burger, with bacon and a friend egg. It was cooked to order perfectly, juicy and so yummy. I opted for tots as my side! So yummy and a big portion- 1/2 went home with me. I also appreciate the bottomless soda refills, and a to go cup. We used to love Native New Yorker but based on our last 2 visits, it's slipping a bit. We were there late night for their appetizer specials and ordered bone-in wings too. The food was extremely slow coming out of the kitchen and 2 items were forgotten. Cooks were too busy breaking down and cleaning up? Maybe because nothing was served hot. Difficult to get drink refills, plates, extra napkins. Kitchen last call was made 45 minutes before their posted closing time. I guess we were done ordering, huh? Close when you really close. We have been coming here for many years! We came in today for a special birthday! My best friend had his birthday! We got Mariah server in the bar area! She is the best! Took our birthday cake and put it in the fridge! She kept up with all our beverages and food order came out perfect! She kept bringing water and iced tea!
