They offer a blueberry syrup that's fun and flavorful, though I'm still team maple all the way. The biscuit? Also huge. Fluffy, buttery, and definitely made to impress. This has always been in the top 3 best brunch spots in Ahwatukee, in terms of consistency in quality, it may be #1. I came here recently with my mom, sister, grandma and my lovely girlfriend. We had a nice and easy brunch and the service from our waitress here was attentive and quick! We placed our orders, got our drinks immediately (not many people were here while we were) though she made us feel right at home and the brunch was filling and very yummy! The burrito size was solid and though I wasn't the hungriest I still finished it and drank all my orange juice. I asked for a glass of water after the OJ which our waitress gladly obliged me. The glasses were pretty small but sufficient for refills. My grandma swears by this place and eats here often and it is a nice and laid back spot with nice views of the houses on the mountains nearby in the foothills. If you care to shop here they've got trinkets and shirts on display as well, and they have you pay your bill on the way out the old fashioned way. Both dishes were packed with flavor. The catfish was moist but yet crunchy and seasoned to perfection. My patty melt was very juicy and well seasoned. I'd definitely brag about my patty melt for sure! The only thing that bothered me was, the onion rings were not hand dipped. Although that is minor, I felt a bit cheated. This place is my favorite breakfast spot! The staff always goes over and beyond even when they are super busy. The food is outrageously great! and they are consistent too. Consistently great food. Their breakfasts are great. Their cook is on the target every single time when cooking eggs. (If you like an over medium egg, you understand what I'm talking about) Crispy bacon can be way overdone, so just ask them not to serve it "wiggly". The country potatoes are really yummy. I have a few favorite waiters - one not so much. This place is always jamming for breakfast, but the wait never seems too long. They have good gluten free bread/toast. God Awful! I don't like to trash local businesses....BUT. OMG from the barely lukewarm coffee to the heap of what was described as steel cut oatmeal that was warmed over mush. I couldn't even eat it. As I walked in, there was a sign on the door saying they were sort staffed and to be patient. I came at 10 a.m. on a Tuesday and this definitely was NOT an issue. I was quickly greeted by a young man named Mike who suggested sitting wherever I like and asked me what I'd like to drink. He quickly brought my coffee and less than two minutes later, my waitress came to the table and provided me with a menu. After taking a look at the menu, she quickly returned and took my order. It took well under 10 minutes for the food to arrive and it was all fantastic! Bacon cooked perfectly, excellent hash browns and eggs. To top it off, the biscuits and gravy were some of the best I've ever had. Can't speak for others experience here, but mine was excellent and the food was great. read more

When she brought our coffee she had the cup and the pot and said "here." She pulled out menus out of our hands while we were ordering, and after we got our food we never had anyone come back to our table. When my kids were trying to order she cut them off and tried to fill in their order for them. Not great at listening. Right before she came to take our order she stood there and yelled at another waitress about bussing one of the tables. Just out in the middle of the restaurant for everyone to hear. They said it's cornmeal batter, but it's still thicker than I'd like the batter for my fried fish. Still tastes good. The sweet potato fries and the tartar sauce are great. The cook stated that if you flip it over, it's not overcooked on that side. I was charged for the meal--the server refused to remove the charge and the food was not eaten. The ladies that waitress aren't sure which tables are theirs and you will be waiting for at least 40 min before your asked if you want anything to drink. By the time they've taken your order because it may take another waitress to come to the table you've waited an hour or more to let them know what you'd like to eat. Then when your food comes you've visited for 2 hrs which by then you've met everyone. They really need to hire ppl that know how to serve. Seems their bias to 50-55 year old women serving. Went on Mothers Day at 12:30. Didn't leave till 2:00. Other tables around us where just as curious why they hadn't received service as well. Really bad service. read more

This has been a staple for the occasional weekend late breakfast, early lunch for about a year. They are very busy during the weekends, but they are super friendly. My favorite is the Chicken Fried Chicken breakfast, with "extra crispy" hashbrowns and two over easy eggs. Delicious. read more
