I passed this info along to my customer after I asked 3 times to confirm the delivery date before I even said anything to my customer and started any kind of anger, ( t's happened before) Well I'm sure in Carlos's urgent need to go on vacation (Really true) The ball got dropped!! When I passed this info along to my customer obviously they were pissed there car would not be finished as I told them. Well they took their car elsewhere via a tow service and had a few descriptive words about me and about Inland Empire driveline.... As a business owner that has used them before and hadn't had any issues I asked what it would take to make their F-up right so I could make the customer happy. Well to get it here by the date they had promised to me, the price went up significantly.... Their fault here and trying to make my business pay for their F-up? Don't tell someone 3 times and assure delivery if you can't do it!!! Just say you can't do it for whatever reason. So I guess any future business I have I will be taking my clients work to someone else.. their loss. NOT COOL CARLOS!!!!! Better time management and communication with your employees and then communicating with your "CLIENT" would have prevented you loosing a client and me loosing a customer... Remember Carlos cream always rises to the top and good business ethics make a business strong and reliable....this BAD'S on you sir!!! My recommendations to other customers is to proceed carefully with Inland Empire Driveline...

I wish I had never purchased my Jeep from Blackstar Offroad. Within just one year of ownership, I…read morewas hit with thousands of dollars in repairs that no buyer should reasonably expect so soon after purchasing a vehicle. Since buying the Jeep, I've had to replace the left and right cylinder head gasket, thermostat, water pump, water pump gasket, oil cooler assembly, spark plugs, and battery clamps. The vehicle developed persistent engine stalling issues, misfires, coolant loss, white exhaust smoke, and transmission-related problems. I was later informed of transmission fault code P0732, indicating potential transmission failure, and have also had to investigate replacing the crankshaft position sensor in an attempt to keep the vehicle running properly. I understand that used vehicles can require maintenance, but the extent and severity of these repairs after only one year have been extremely disappointing. I trusted Blackstar Offroad to sell a reliable vehicle, and instead I've spent a significant amount of time, stress, and money (thousands) dealing with major mechanical failures. I'm not writing this review out of spite. I'm sharing my experience in hopes that future customers can make a more informed decision than I did. Please do your homework, have any vehicle independently inspected before purchasing, and make sure you're prepared for the possibility of unexpected repair costs. Based on my experience, I would not purchase another vehicle from Blackstar Offroad. I was truly excited and worked hard to make the purchase but the financial stress and emotional burden of not having my vehicle while it was going through multiple shops to confirm and execute the repairs was definitely not worth it - I definitely learned my lesson not bringing a mechanic with me to inspect the vehicle before the purchase. 'Please inspect people, don't trust these dealers they won't tell you everything'.

A few weeks later I took apart the truck for the rebuild and found the sleeves they sent where 3/16 of and inch too long. I tried to reach out to them but never got a reply only to find out they had taken most of the month of July off (entire shop shut down.) I wasn't left with too many choices (A) Leave truck in pieces until the crew of total chaos came back from vacation to fix this issue or (B) Put the truck back together with the worn out parts and wait for them to come back from vacation to fix this issue or (C) Go to my local machine shop and have the sleeves milled to size which would cost a little over $60 I chose C because I did not want to wait a few weeks to get this done. I needed my truck to be on the road. Anyways I had sent emails to them about this issue thinking they would at least refund me the cost of machining the parts. I never heard a word back.
