I consulted with a few different places and I am SO glad I went with Blackstar Offroad. Jeff was amazing, he was extremely helpful and thorough and made the process easy. I got a 3.5" lift on my 2018 Jeep wrangler and I absolutely LOVE IT. Highly recommend anyone looking to get a lift or any mod on their Jeep to go with Blackstar Offroad!!
Working with Hunter Tejada and Blackstar Offroad was an outstanding experience. Easy going, customer friendly and provided all the information we needed upfront. So much easier to work with than your typical car dealer. Oh, and the Jeep we purchased was a truly added bonus. Highly recommended visiting the shop as well as working with Hunter. You won't be disappointed.

SPECTACULAR CUSTOMER SERVICE! I drove 90 min to come check out this awesome custom build dealership and it did not disappoint! Since I don't live in the area I didn't reach Blackstar until 45 minutes before they closed. Most places try to close up around this time and shoo customers away but Hunter greeted us with open arms. He was kind, patient and very knowledgeable. He allowed us to take our time, answered all of our questions and wasn't pushy at all! I would highly recommend this family owned business, they are very honest and welcoming.
I bought my 2020 Jeep Wrangler (stock) MDW 2020 and by mid-June, the boys over at Blackstar Offroad had my sweet girl tricked out and outfitted for some serious dirt & sand adventures. My hubby researched and spoke with the owner, Tim, about ideas for upgrades and working in a budget. Tim and team made my Malibu Barbie dreams come true!! 35" tires and Black Rhino wheels, 2.5 lift with the side rail I wanted and Ho-Damn, she I got even "purdier" than she was before! Thank you so much for the work on my Jeep. The craftsmanship and professionalism can't be matched.
My parents recently sold me their 2004 Jeep Wrangler. They kept it mostly stock, only adding modifications for RVing. I knew the first thing I wanted to do was make it look like a Jeep. I hit the forums and found that I could add 31' inch tires without a lift. Then I searched local areas that performed mods. Blackstar Offroad's name stuck out to me as I had driven past it before. Their gorgeous Jeeps in front of their business had drawn in my attention. I read a bunch of reviews, along with the responses from the owner and decided I would go in to ask questions. However, I failed to read that they only work on JK and JL Wranglers. I went in and was enamoured with all the amazing Jeeps they had for sale. I was greeted by an employee who informed me that they no longer work on TJ's. As I was getting ready to walk out, Tim walked out of an office and asked me what type of mods I needed. I explained that I only wants bigger tires with wheels. He quickly said they could do it. He followed me out to my Jeep and we shared stories. He told me he just bought one for his daughter and was fixing it up for her. He gave me a ton of advice and listened to what I wanted. He gave a recommendation to do a small lift due to potential rubbing and being unleveled. He obviously knows more than me so I agreed and was excited for the project. He emailed me the same day with links to different options. By the following day, we were a go and the parts were on order. Less than a week later, he email me that the parts were in and that they had availability. My Jeep came out exactly how I wanted it to. Tim's expertize along with his kindness made this experience so easy and positive! Unfortunately, Tim was not there when I picked it up. However, I had the pleasure of meeting Hunter, who was also very nice. Anyway, my point is - bring you Jeep here. Or buy a Jeep here! They will treat you well. Thank you so much Tim!
Now this is how you supposed to run a dealership. HONEST, HELPFUL , KNOWLEDGEABLE and do everything they can to make sure you leave knowing you came to the right place. Mike helped us out get into this amazing custom Jeep wrangler with no hassles. He made the whole process smooth and transparent. Their inventory is amazing to say the least and I guarantee you if you are looking for a Wrangler or Gladiator there is no better place out there.
Great service and assistance from Hunter. He let me customize my Gladiator to what I wanted. Extended shipment and delivery window for the Rockslide Engineering steps but Hunter kept me updated regularly...even when I bugged him when he was off. Then they had my Jeep shipped to me in North County San Diego so I wouldn't have to go back to Anaheim. Thank you Hunter and Blackstar Offroad! The work done looks great!
No pressure, friendly, great selection, and some awesome builds! Wife and I were considering picking up a jeep and were looking for a specific color and trim. Blackstar Offroad had the only few I could find. Reached out and Hunter gave me a call back. They were very accommodating to our busy schedule and when we showed up with little time they let us see/drive what we like and head out. No pressure, no frustrating sales antics. Just friendly face answering any questions. Looks like they provide vehicle sales along with anything you'd need throughout the ownership to build up and modify as needed. Neat place. If in the market for a Jeep, seems like the place to go.

Especially coming in as a female with limited knowledge about some of the builds. George (who's supppper awesome- fingers crossed you get the chance to hang and chat with him) walked me through everything, with some great recommendations. He kept everything within my budget and guided me in the right direction based on things I love to do. I've finally got the jeep I've been wanting for ages!! For the past 6 months I have been considering lifting and adding accessories to our sons Jeep, and we finally made the decision to do so, and so happy that we did, he absolutely loves it!! The entire team at Blackstar is incredible to work with, especially Tim, who walked us thru the process, showing us the best solutions for what we were looking for and at a very reasonable price. Their customer service and attention to detail is second to none, you definitely will not be sorry that you had Blackstar make your modifications!!
Bought my first almost new car last week from George. He was honest and helpful. I didn't feel pressured and he made sure I got what I wanted. Friendly, family owned and operated business. Went back to get my car washed and filled with gas after my purchase because we didn't have time for them to do it the day I bought it. The best offroad customization for Jeeps! I bought mine from Ke in a year ago and started my additional builds. There are no limits. Tim and Jeff are great to work with on getting custom parts and have great discounts from many vendors. Joe at the shop is a Jeep wizard and knows suspension like no other. My brother came with me for my purchase and start his phase on on his Jeep. If you can think of it, they can do it. They also give you honest feedback and recommendations. Basically, they won't try to sell you on things you dont need for the purpose of you rig. Ultimately, you spend you money on the right parts ONCE! The Jeep selection is impressive and Mike and Tim help me customize before I even took possession of it. The are well connected with vendors, suppliers, Jeep dealerships for service and custom paint shops. Polite and knowledgeable staff is where it all starts. read more

I can not speak highly enough of the team at Blackstar! I called this past Tuesday and spoke to Tim about working on my wife's new wrangler. I was able to send her into their shop Wednesday to look at the builds they have done, they helped her in and out of tons of Jeep's so she could feel comfortable about all the choices she was making on her build, after they walked her all around the shop she picked her lift kit, shocks, wheels, tires and side steps. I was able to bring her Jeep in there Thursday and we got it back Friday! That level of customer service and efficiency has made me a customer for life! I am so blown away especially during these covid times they were so beyond accommodating and the price was great! My wife has been romping around all weekend in her bad bitch mommy wrangler and says it is her favorite car she has ever had! I can't thank Tim and his crew enough! read more

These guys create some of the best Jeeps I've ever seen. I worked with George on purchasing a lifted Wrangler unlimited. The price and service was fantastic. I will be coming back to them for a couple other modifications but all in all great shop. Car buying process was fast and easy. Service guys take real pride in their work and it shows. I purchased my first Jeep about 2 months ago from BlackStar. I am so freaking happy with it!!! I loved it the moment I saw it and even more after I drove it. I waited a bit to post a review so that the "honeymoon" period wear off but it just hasn't. Hunter was my sales guy but didn't really sell me anything. Wow.... I still can't believe, I'm the owner of the Badass Jeep I purchased from Blackstar off-road. I looked them up because my buddy recommended them. A Big Shout Out to George and Jeff, they were easy going, had sound advice and answers to all my questions. The whole purchase process was pretty painless. Nice guys but the work execution was sloppy and not up to par. Was hoping to support a local business over 4WheelParts but it ended up being substantially more effort. Rubicon Express lift shocks were installed in an extremely visually displeasing way. Functionally fine, aesthetically far from it. Also when getting my vehicle aligned after a part install, the number sheet was way off and the breather hose wasn't even re-connected. I went to another local shop and got everything fixed instead of coming back because I had a long drive the next day and the vehicle was far from fine. Like I said, nice team but the attention to detail on my vehicle was really missing. They will of course offer to fix the issues but how many times do I need to leave my vehicle in your lot for 24 hours? Not to mention picking it up to find more problems? Photos included. read more

Just bought my first ever jeep frm blackstar offroad and oh man what a ggreat place. They have every jeep you could want ready built, mild build or some stock for the enthusiast who likes to project build. Hunter was a Great sales rep and took care of us start to finish. We left in the jeep of our drreams. We were issued a valet key and not and actual key but they took care of that too!!! Tim who i think is the owner jumped in and took care of my key problem for me right away. I would definitly recomend this speciality dealer to anyone who just wants to drive off the lot and onto a trail. The jeeps are also priceed very fairly considering all the NEW parts they install. So after a few days of searching and reading every yelp review I could find, I finally decided on taking my Jeep Blackstar to install a lift on my Jeep. Tim and Joe we're extremely knowledgeable and patient. I'm a newbie when it comes to Jeeps and not once did I feel like I was being talked down to. They gave me lots of options(I'm picky) and we finally settled on something that would work great for my needs. I could not be more happy with the results. My car was in/out in less than a day, and their overnight drop off made it extremely convenient. I'm a very happy customer and will be bringing my Jeep back for any future upgrades or service!
