As part of their service they did a full inspection. They found some other things that they recommended I have done. There was no pressure whatsoever from them to get these things done. He even googled to see if some of the items were covered by my warranty and recommended I check with the dealer first before paying them to do the work. They have done many services for my Golf R. From Haldex fluid changes, alignments to suspension installs. The Bilstein B6 Damptronics (DCC) I got from them are perfect. They document all of their work and even update Carfax service records. You can even get pictures of your intake manifold after doing a carbon clean (walnut blasting). Absolutely hands-down the best mechanic in town! Kudos to Raz and Dave for taking care of my car for all these years. This review is long overdue, I've been coming to this mechanic shop for many many years. Starting probably close to 10 years ago with my Porsche. Then after I traded that car in I got an Audi which I continued to bring in to Raz. I am glad that they moved to North County from Lake Forest. Their new shop is humongous, and very nice. Over the years they have fix numerous problems on my German imports. Their prices are very reasonable, and they do high-quality work, and they test everything they do multiple times to ensure that their repairs was done correctly and your car is reliable. I trust them 100%. They can fix even the most difficult issues. I had my back up camera that stopped working, I took it first to an audio video accessory place and they troubleshoot it for a long time and couldn't find the problem. Raz and Dave Took their time and really dug in deeper to diagnose the problem. And didn't even charge me an arm and a leg to fix it. Now my back up camera is working again which made me super happy. Also these guys are super Duper knowledgeable and they can fix basically everything. And of course they're super Duper honest and always try to help the customer save money! These guys are incredible. I have been going to Raz and Dave at AU Tuning for over a decade, through multiple cars starting back when I was a teenager coming in with a limp-mode 20th AE GTI to now. They were total pros and knew exactly what was wrong getting me back on the road same day. It's extremely rare to find a shop who's owners are still hands-on and maintain their legacy of professionalism and quality through their exponential growth and notoriety over the years. For years I have been recommending AU Tuning to my friends and family and stand by the quality of work they do to a near-religious extent. The shop has moved and so have I over the years, but I still take a 2 hour round trip specifically to continue going here. Long story short: If you have an R8, take it to Raz @ OC Tuning. My AC compressor died on me, which is a very common issue with Gen 1 V8 R8's. I had asked around literally every Audi dealer in SoCal for quotes, and they all asked for $7k - $9k as they say this job requires taking the engine out. I switched gears to indy shops, and most either didn't want to do the job or didn't get back to me. I dealt with a SoCal summer without AC + pandemic, so the R8 wasn't driven much at all. A friend recommended OC Tuning / AU Tuning for a couple of different jobs on the R8, and the impression I got was that Raz was very knowledgeable about the R8 and its foibles. Lo and behold, their quote was much, much more palatable that I said yes on the spot. My experience with OC Tuning couldn't be more positive - my car ended up at the shop for a good while - I was getting a couple of other jobs done to the car + dealing with a third party tuner which took up the majority of the time. Throughout the whole thing Raz was super communicative and let me know what was going on. The R8 now runs better than ever and I have an ice-cold AC again. Thanks Raz & team! read more

I have a 2016 Volkswagen Jetta GLI with just about 70,500 miles and I went in to AU tuning to get my breaks flushed because it's been 2 years sense i last had it done and i also had a soft break pedal. I gave them a call earlier in the week and made the appointment for Saturday morning. When i showed up they were busy which is a great thing and a good sign to me in terms of business! I visited their old shop in lake forest years ago but this is my first time at their shop in Placentia and man the shop in Placentia is very dialed in in terms of getting things done! I can't help to commend Nick who was very thorough and to the point of what needs to get done. My breaks feel brand new with just a break fluid flush and I will be coming back for any other break jobs or any other big repairs that I can't do with out the help of their skilled mechanics!
