Fresh oil, she's ready to sing!

MIke's Foreign Car Shop is a hidden gem in Anaheim. David and team took extra care, ensured proper oil change was done professionally to spec. I was able to observe while mechanic walked me through the undercarriage inspection. Will definitely return for future repairs. Highly recommend their shop and trust their service. Especially for this brand! Did I mention their prices are 1/4 cost vs dealerships? Awesome service!

I helped my friend to find a mechanic from Yelp for her Audi Q5 coolant leak project. There were 5 companies bidding for it, I am happy that I have chosen Mike's. They are professional, friendly and supportive. I believe their pricing is very reasonable, too. I will definitely recommend them for your Audi service.

They did a great job of listening to my concerns, fixing the problems and being under budget.

Ask the Community - Mike's Foreign Car

Wondering if you work on Minis? I have a 2014 MiniCooper Clubman and I the place I normally service it I overheard a technician on a phone call just bashing on MiniCoopers and since then I don't trust what they say.

We wanted to inform you that we do work on Mini's. We would be happy to help you find out why your vehicle is overheating and provide an estimate for any needed repairs. Please let us know your availability or call us, and we can set up an… Read more

I recently purchased a pre owned 91 MB 500sl.I know it needs to be serviced and am looking for an honest reliable mechanic to take my car ,any suggestions?

Call and ask for Josh...if they are familiar with MB, they will do a great job servicing it at an even better price! They stand behind their work...my family has taken a 1974 VW, 2007 VW, and 2005 Infiniti to him, and trust him completely!

My car,VW GLI 2009 there is a problem in air conditioning system. No air and no heat at all.Do you fix the air condition?

Yes we can help. Please give us a call to set up an appointment if you'd like us to look at it. Thanks

Can they do an oil change on a smart car? And what would that cost me?

I’m sorry we don’t service smart cars.

I have brought my girlfriend's SUV to Frank a few times in recent months and wanted to write an…read moreupdate. One visit was to troubleshoot the air conditioning, which was barely cool at best. I was hoping it just needed a Freon recharge. After checking the A/C system, Frank confirmed that the Freon was just low and everything else looked good. Luckily, her older car uses the newer, less expensive Freon. I just hung out while he recharged the system, and it was ready to go about 20 minutes later. The cost was only $150, money well spent to get ice cold air conditioning back. The most recent visit was to troubleshoot a service error code and ABS and brake warning lights. I was hoping this would just be a sensor on one of the wheels, but Frank said it looked like the main ABS ECU unit was faulty. Given the potential cost of the repair, it didn't make sense given the value of the car. I appreciated his honest opinion. He said there was no charge, but I still tipped him for his time because he always takes great care of me. I have tried a few other shops in the area over the years, and had initial good experiences. However, they all eventually gave me an estimate I knew as wrong, or didn't do work they said they did. I've been going to Frank ever since, and trust him 100%. If you need a top notch mechanic, Frank is your guy!

I hit a curb and got a flat and had my car towed here because it was the closest tire shop…read more Obviously already having a really bad day but I guess I looked like dollar signs to them because somehow I walked out paying over $1600. They told me I needed a new set of tires so I should just replace them all. I told them I just got my tires 2 years ago from the dealership. They said the dealership sold me tires that were in storage for 2 years before I got them (pointed to the date of manufacturing) and that warps the tires due to being in the sun and whatnot. Lucky for me they had a great deal on 4 tires for $1100. Why didn't I question any of this? The guy seemed very nice and I was so stressed from having a flat tire and blocking traffic for 30 minutes and very frazzled so I just agreed. After about an hour the guy tells me I need new front brake pads as they've worn down to 1mm. I told him I just got new brake pads one year ago. He shakes his head and tells me whoever installed them must've given me poor quality brake pads or I'm an aggressive driver. I tell him I'm not interested but he keeps insisting telling me if I didn't replace them now it would cause "metal on metal" and destroy my rotors and I would be causing way more serious damage which would become costly. Did I want to pay a few hundred dollars now to replace the pads or thousands later because I didn't do what I was supposed to? I don't know anything about cars. Don't even know what brake pads look like at this point and he's talking fast and showing me the pads and acting extremely concerned about my welfare and last thing I wanted was another big expense so I agreed. I asked him to take pictures of my pads with my phone which he did and while they're fixing my car I called up the place that originally did my brakes and of course they defend themselves. Who am I to believe? I Google some pictures of worn brake pads to compare to the pictures of my own and what I saw on my car, and it really looks to me that my original brake pads look quite new! I estimated that the part I'm actually supposed to measure was about half an inch just based on what I actually saw in person while he was talking fast and taking the pictures, which Google tells me is actually equivalent to 8mm! I get upset and ask them to bring my old brake pads out and I want them to measure and show me exactly where it's 1mm and of course they bring out pads that look nothing like my picture. I told them these don't look anything like what's in my picture- they're not my pads and also not 1mm- they were 2 or 3 but still way thinner than what I had just seen on my car and in the pictures. It also took them a long time to find my brake pads even though they just took them off. It was at that point I realized they were complete liars and I wasn't going to get anywhere with them at this point and I was made a fool. Then they tell me they're getting my new pads from some warehouse and it'll be here soon. Of course before I signed the papers they told me all the parts were already there and should be done quickly. I asked them why are parts being delivered when they said all were in stock?! Oh because they meant the parts are here locally in Southern California. Lies after lies. I can go on but I'll stop here. It isn't just the fact that I got scammed into getting new brake pads and possibly new tires, but also the fact that I probably had legit pads in there already and they might have replaced it with $hitty ones because at this point I would expect no less from this place. They prey on women and elderly (I saw an elderly man in a walker come in crying about having paid for 4 new tires but they only replaced 1 and left him with 3 old tires. I don't know how and if that was resolved so won't comment more on that). I also notice there are some five star reviews here from people who came in to get a new tire but also left with new brake pads much like my own situation. They're probably giving 5 star reviews not knowing they were talked into replacing perfectly fine brake pads. Save your money headache and the feeling of being gaslit up your a$$ and go elsewhere. I've attached a pic of my pads- you be the judge.
