I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was bad enough that I feel obligated to share it. I originally reached out to this shop through Instagram after seeing one of their ads and never received a response. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and stopped by in person. When I walked in, the shop looked great -- nice lobby, a lot of products on display -- but the service did not match the appearance. There were two employees one standing behind the counter, one sitting in the lobby who didn't acknowledge me for several minutes while they were talking. I eventually had to interrupt just to get help. I explained exactly what I was looking for (lift, wheels, tires) and made it clear I was ready to move forward. Instead of guiding me, the employee seemed uninterested and gave very surface-level answers. He told me 35" tires would be difficult and might require extensive trimming, which is fine -- but then followed that by saying it would take him too long to figure out the right setup and that I should go home, do my own research, and come back with exactly what I want. That completely defeated the purpose of coming into a professional shop. I'm not a mechanic -- I came specifically to get expert advice and was essentially told to figure it out myself. I walked in ready to put down a deposit and schedule the work, and instead I was dismissed. For comparison, I went to another shop the same day that was extremely busy, yet every employee acknowledged me. When I was helped, they took the time to understand what I wanted, explained the pros and cons, guided me toward the right setup, and even got my vehicle in immediately. The difference in professionalism and customer service was night and day. This shop may look the part, but based on my experience, the customer service and willingness to help just isn't there. read more

I installed the Cali Raised 4Runner Interior Rear Molle Complete Kit. While the design is functional and the finished look is clean, there are several areas where this product falls short, especially for the price point and the brand's reputation. Packaging: The kit arrived in two separate boxes, each sealed with just a two thin strip of paper tape down the center. The corners and seams weren't reinforced, and both boxes showed signs of tearing and splitting during transit. These are heavy metal components shipped in basic cardboard, and metal wins every time. It makes no sense to pack something this bulky, shifty in the box and weighty with such minimal protection. The boxes should've been reinforced to minimize the shifting in transit, edge-taped, for reinforcement and prepped for the load. The first issue started before I even received and opened the boxes. Missing Hardware: The kit was missing five Allen screws (2 sizes). I contacted customer service, (they wanted a count of screws) but given the already long wait time for fabrication and shipping, waiting again wasn't practical, especially with everything has been laid out for installation. I had to make a trip to the hardware store and buy replacements, which of course weren't black to match the rest of the hardware. For the price, proper quality control should ensure every piece is included, and that the packaging used is appropriate for the product weight and contents. Fitment Issues: Once I began the install, I noticed the left and right Molle panels didn't fit the same. The left side had about a half-inch gap, while the right side had no clearance, which caused it to rub against the interior paneling. I had to apply thick felt along the contact edges to prevent damage. This kind of uneven fit makes the system feel like a workaround rather than a precision-built product. Hardware Loosening: The Allen screws don't stay tight. They come loose not just from off-roading but during normal daily driving. I've found them rolling around in the back of my 4Runner more than once. I'm not using thread locker because I need the shelves to be removable but I shouldn't have to choose between flexibility and functionality. Constantly retightening these screws is frustrating and unacceptable for a premium product. Noise & Vibration: As a prior military member, I practice noise discipline and I made sure every piece of gear in my vehicle was strapped down and secured. Despite that, the Molle system rattles squeaks loudly over bumps and turns. The metal-on-metal clanking, rubbing is constant and distracting. I installed thick felt padding at multiple contact points to reduce the noise, but this should've been addressed at the design level. Rubber-dipped or pre-coated contact points would eliminate this entirely. Other Notable Notes: * The second shelf is cumbersome to remove and reinstall, especially if you need quick flexibility. * The unit is heavy, and you'll need two people for installation or removal. * The extension bolts on both sides are brushed nickel, not black like the rest of the system. I wrapped them in black electrical tape to match the hardware and prevent scratches to my interior. * I attempted to mount the upper shelf at the highest position to retain rear window visibility when not storing gear, but the design doesn't allow that. It's a missed opportunity from a safety perspective -- rear visibility matters. Bottom Line: The Cali Raised Rear Molle Kit is a solid concept with rugged visual appeal, but it feels more like a beta version than a finished product. Between poor packaging, missing hardware, uneven fitment, hardware that loosens during daily use, and avoidable noise issues, it takes DIY effort to make this kit work properly and safely. If Cali Raised tightens up quality control, reinforces shipping materials, resolves vibration issues, and standardizes finishes, this could easily be a 5-star product. As it stands, it's a 3-star experience that requires time, patience, and creative fixes to bring it up to read more

if I could leave less than one star I would. I ordered a hood stamp for my 2016 Toyota 4runner. Watching the video they provide, it makes it look like the material that the stamp is made out of can be easily pulled apart if it sticks together at all. The one that I received was so tacky and thin, that as soon as it touched itself, it was stuck together so badly that when you try to pull it apart, it stretches the material and it doesn't go flat again. The part that I was able to try to smooth out onto my hood, I used a squeegee exactly like in the video. But it caused pulls and little runners and snags in the material. I don't know if the one I received was just a bad material batch, but it was nothing like what the guy used in the video. Buyer beware. I know they recommend professional installation, but that material is definitely not worth the over $100 price tag. read more

I was very impressed by these guys. They gave me a reasonable quote online for rock slider installation, so I set up an appt with Morgan for the next day. When I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the shop is. Unlike typical auto shops, they maintain a nice front office and showroom, and they took my car to the back for work. They estimated two hours of labor, but were able to complete it in about 1.5 hours. The best part is that they ended up charging me only for the actual hours, which is less than the already reasonable estimate. The work looks solid. Came in a few weeks ago after I purchased new car and my friend recommended I come to this place to get catalytic converter covers. I spoke to Morgan over the phone a few days prior and he told me they had a few in store. I couldn't make it down to Buena Park until 3 days later and they were sold out. I have been contemplating for the past year in getting suspension work done for my '13 Trail Teams FJ but needed a compitent and reliable shop to do it. Luckily my friend John got some work done on his Lunar Rock TRD Pro 4Runner at Cali Raised this year and he recommended them to me. Ended up calling them last week and Keanu of Cali Raised helped me and speaking to him I gathered he was very knowledgeable of the various 4WD suspension and components specific to my FJ. He wrote me up a quote with various iterations in-between and I went the Kings 2.5 front coilovers, Kings 2.5 rear Shocks, ARB 2" rear springs, and Element Hard Parts Billet Uniball upper control arms. Also did a body mount chop to fit in some new 285 75 16 Falken Wildpeaks on all 5 of my original TRD Beadlock style wheels to make it 33s. To top it off, added the TRD skid plates from a 5th gen 4Runner TRD Pro to finish off the OEM Plus look. Morgan from Cali Raised also suggested to look into White Knuckle Rock Sliders for my FJ since that will be my next upgrade. He also suggested using PTFE lubricant for the uniball uca which I immediately purchased from Amazon. With all this suspension work, bmc, skid plate modification and tire installs, I suggest you leave your car their early in the morning and just pick it up before they close. Overall, I'm very happy with all the work that was done on my FJ today and will be coming back to Keanu and Morgan to get any future parts and installs for sure. What happened to this place??? Four years ago the best buying experience ever. Now they have the worst customer service ever. Morgan the manager is awful. Ordered 2 new sets of tires 35's for my jeep all 5 wheels a new set of tires for the wife's car and basically a brand new front end for the jeep. Nobody calls to tells us tires are in. I call finally and they have everything in. Nobody called to tell us... Then we set up time to have installed. Drop off jeep don't hear anything I call them just before closing, oh it's done. Again no call. Finally three weeks later it's finally time to put wife's tires on (ya 3 weeks for tires on a Subaru) guess what drop off vehicle told it will be done before lunch . Call at 2pm " oh we can't get you car done today. How many weeks does it take to get tires. Phones have been around for over a hundred years nobody taught Morgan how to use one or even communicate. I have spent over $20k with shop on my Jeep with lifts tires suspension exhaust and I wouldn't recommend these guys to anyone. This place went to hell. Get back who ever use to run this place. Had my 2022 Toyota Sienna raised 2", and aligned. After a long road trip, I noticed the vehicle would squeak and somewhat drift to the right. Upon closer inspection, by another alignment specialist it was found that 2 camber bolts were improperly tightened. One was actually hand tightened and the other was not seated properly. When I was in their showroom, I realized they had a plethora of accessories that they sold & installed.
