Huge thank you to the guys at Delta Plumbing! Emerson and Miguel in particular were fantastic. I woke up this morning to a disaster.. I walked down to my garage at 7:30AM and noticed a large amount of water leaking out of my water heater. In a panic, I called the first place I could find in the area which happened to be Delta Plumbing. They sent Emerson over who arrived at 8:00AM, just a little under 30 minutes after my initial call. He was extremely nice and helpful. He let me know that the water heater needed to be replaced and less than 2 hours later, had the thing out of there, a new one installed, and was all done. I have used Delta Plumbing and Rooter for several projects over the years and their service has always been excellent. Unfortunately my experience with them this time was not good. I called to have a old hose bib replaced. Emerson came to my house and reviewed the job. A few days later Miguel arrived and replaced the hose bib. All was well so far. Later that day I noticed that the hose bib was leaking from the threads. I called Emerson and left a message explaining what I was seeing. No response. Later that evening I sent him a text message, still no response. I don't know what happened or why my messages are going unanswered. Now I have to find another plumber to come out and fix the leak. I've was a loyal customer for years, I'm very disappointed. read more

What can I say about these guys? They are fantastic! 3 years ago when we bought our home on Camby rd in Antioch it became very clear very quickly the previous owner wasn't forthcoming about our main sewer line problems. Our toilets and showers were constantly backing up so bad to the point that I was having to have the sewer line rootered every 2 to 3 months. And now for the last few months it has been on a monthly basis. I had gone with a couple other plumbers in the past depending upon who would answer the phone at the time. I would pay $200 to $300 each time to have a plumber come out and snake my sewer. A few weeks ago I was not able to get a call back from any of the other plumbers so I kept searching the phonebook until I found Delta plumbing and rooter. Emerson answered the phone immediately and told me he could be here within two hours. He showed up on time and for a very reasonable price much less than the other plumbers charged me in the past he cleaned out my sewer line for me. A few weeks later when it plugged up again one Saturday I called him immediately, he showed up the same day, with a camera and ran it through my sewer. He showed me all of the roots that had filled my sewer line from the house out to the street, And explained to me with no pressure at all what needed to be done to fix it. We agreed on the price, he cleaned out my line again for me at no charge. And told me he will start work on Monday. So here it is the week of Thanksgiving, he shows up on Monday with the permits, by the time I got home from work that day they had the new pipe pulled in and connected with the clean outs on both ends. This morning the city inspector came and gave them the OK to fill the holes. My wife called me a couple of hours ago told me they were all done and that you could hardly tell they were ever here, I came home inspected the work and I completely agree with my wife these guys did an excellent job. If I ever need a plumber for any other reason I will not hesitate to call them again. read more

I highly recommend this place! Ran into bit of an emergency with my water heater it started spraying from the bottom valve and was flooding my garage. Of course I called my mommy LOL and she referred me to this company. Spoke with Emerson and he told me he would come over to check out the problem. What went from maybe having to pay $1500 for a new water heater turned out to be a little over $100 fix. I must say it was well worth the money. My garbage disposal suddenly quit working and I called Emerson. It was a very positive experience as he came out very promptly on time and ascertain that the problem was electrical in the outlet not the disposal itself. I am so impressed with the fact that he was so helpful I actually was being educated while he was working. He also took a look at my gas water heater and gave me pointers on making sure that works as long as possible. He also would not accept any payment for his trip out here. The work performed by these guys was wonderful. I had a water main leak before the shutoff valve. The leak requires cutting some bricks on the porch just to get to the leak. He repaired the leak and installed new copper piping as needed. I called at 11:00am and they were here to start the repair before 1:00. Called about an hour ago to request an urgent service. I give him the exact address over the phone and he tells me he will be by soon as he can. Calls me an HOUR later to tell me we are out of his area. I told him plenty of times that we are in Isleton, Ca. Which is just 20 minutes from Antioch and "the surrounding area" they advertise, but I guess they don't cross the bridge. Apologizes, tells me he thought I was in another area, but then why did I give him the exact address?! I could have been waiting on another reliable plumber for the past hour! Delta has a system that you can request service online..a dispatcher called me immediately! no leave phone message longevity circle!!! This was getting close to Christmas ... a very busy time for plumbing emergencies. Then they put me in touch with Emerson.. Emerson worked me in.. fixed the flooding under kitchen sink.. Not only did he fix immediate problem but he analyzed a problem that likely caused the flooding issue.. an old water pressure regulator malfunctioning. To get down to the bottom line.. he was so right.. Within hours I started having other problems in the house. Emerson returned next day and repaired so now a noleak Christmas.. thanks to Emerson! These guys are awesome! My water heater went out in the middle of the night. Long story short, my water heater and my main water valve needed to be replaced. Contacted my insurance company with the urgent request. Insurance company put me in touch with 2 local companies who would come later to look at the issue and then set up an appointment to get the things fixed. The companies told me that it would take a couple of days for the repairs to be completed. Considering that I had no running water in the house, I began to search for a company myself. Found Delta Plumbing and Rooter and spoke with Emerson at about 8:00 am. He told me he would come at around noon and replace the water heater the same day. At about 9:30 he called me that said that they were available right now. I jumped at his offer and had one of his workers, Miguel, start on the repair. Within a couple of hours I had a brand new water heater, main water valve, and running hot water again. All of this at a VERY reasonable price. I've been having plumbing issues since November and decided to go a step further and spend the money on a camera to see what was going on. I had called and left messages with 3 other plumbers and never got a call back. I live in Oakley and have a septic tank. Emerson called me back right away and gave me a quote over the phone. He showed up on time tried to get me line cleared. When it wouldn't clear after snaking and hydro jetting he found and dug several feet to find my septic tank and discovered that was my problem. He didn't have to dig but was determined to find out what was causing my back up and he did. He then worked on a shower that wasn't working and got that working. Very good communication and honest.
