John the owner and Avery the tech were great. They took the time to actually diagnose the issue rather than sell a replacement immediately. I had a 9 year Rheem. John on the phone walked assisted his tech to make sure he was trouble shooting. I immediately knew by his Questions he had experience. I went with the repair. Out of warranty does produce an argument to replace versus repair. I went with repair and felt xomf read more

Stay away from Nak for plumbing. This business does heartless pricing estimates!!! I had a broken cartridge in the shower the handle fell off. They came and tried convincing me over the phone that I needed to break the back wall behind the shower for $2,100. I said that was way too expensive and I called another company and the plumber came fixed it for $280 plus a new handle $50. ( no wall breaking ). Wow! I am shocked! New home owners. I know it is little bit of work but please do estimates 3 is a good number. The difference is $2,000. Run before you run out of money guys and get ripped off!!!!!! Reply to your reply Nak: Your worker at my house told me over the phone $551 for the cartridge change and $2,100 for to break the wall to chance the valve. Then 4 days later you sent me the new written estimate with lower pricing $336 cartridge change and $1,666 price for breaking the wall to change the valve maybe after seeing that I left another unhappy review to your other friends company Beastbay plumbing who quoted me $759 for cartridge and $2,297 to open the wall to change the valve. If your guy would quoted me $336 when he was at the house I would've happily went with you as it is a great price. I remember how rude that young man was over the phone with me. I remember you were a nice lady when you reschedule the appointment for the next morning because it was a big traffic at the night before and you plumber couldn't make it that evening It is the Right company! read more

Had Nak replace gas water heater after getting 3 quotes. Reasonable estimate included new gas valve, pan liner, and all new connections. Arrived at appointed time, removed existing unit and installed new Rheem 50 gal heater in about an hour. Excellent service and skill in getting the job done right. read more

Nak for Plumbing always comes through. They were recommended by our neighbor and have proven to be a great find. They have completed multiple installations and repairs for us over the years. Their scheduling process is efficient, technicians are pleasant, highly skilled and always on time. I recommend them without any reservations. read more

NAK is great and professional. Easy scheduling and good service. Price is a little high but it's worth the peace of mind.

I used Nak because of the number of high ratings, figuring that if you can get consistently high ratings as a plumber, you're probably doing more than one thing right. I was expecting prompt, effective service, but they really did deliver on more than just those fronts. They scheduled my appointment quickly, had plenty of very clear communication and confirmation, the technician (Zach) called and offered to arrive early rather than just doing it and potentially catching me off guard, and he exemplified the kind of service I would want to see if the company was mine. Very friendly, very patient, and very upfront and transparent about pricing. I would not only use them again, I don't even see a reason to ever use anyone else. read more

great experience. Owner, John , is a good listener. He sent out Stephen and Aron to snake out our sewer line, and they got under the house to replace a broken pipe. Expensive? Yes, but all plumbing work is. Their service was preceded by a plumber who did not solve our problem, and had a foul temper. We no longer are afraid to flush the toilet. P.s. public service announcement: don't flush wet wipes Down your toilet!! read more

Contacted Nak after trying another plumbing company to fix my inlet water pipe crack to my house that was flooding. I had no water and they prioritized my call and fixed the problem. They were efficient, responsive and professional. Would recommend them for any plumbing needs. John, Zack and Arron were the crew to help diagnose the problem, get a solution to address the problem. And fix it timely. Couldn't be happier. Thanks gang! read more

Today was the first time I've tried the service of "Nak for Plumbing" to fix some plumbing-related issues with my home, namely swapping out a new same-model garbage disposal that I bought separately to replace the old one that quite working & since they were here for that, finally using that as an opportunity to have them fix a broken sewer cleanout overflow pop-out that wasn't worth the truck roll until I needed a plumber for something else anyway. I submitted a request for a quote via a form on their website, and promptly received an email reply from Keiko (thank you Keiko!) with an estimate. I called around to get a read on other pricing and they were all in the same range, so based on Nak's review reputation, their closeness to my home, and the fact they are a small mom-and pop business and not some plumbing chain/franchise, and another employee who answered the phone, John (thank you John!), was super nice and helpful when I called, I went with them... and happy I did! Miguel from Nak showed up at the beginning of the hour window, was really nice to work with, was tidy and thorough, and took care of both tasks within about an hour. He was straightforward with me, stuck to the exact quoted pricing (because no other problems were found), allowed me to pay by credit card with no added fee, and also took the old garbage disposal and any related collateral with him, which I was really happy about. I absolutely intend to contact Nak for any future plumbing needs, and also will happily recommend them based on my own positive experience, but also because it's obvious they are good guys from both the overall reviews on Yelp as well as Google reviews. It feels good to support a small, worthy, local business! Thank you again Miguel and team Nak! read more

I think what impressed me most is how much time the owner John spent with me on the phone. I described my issue - a leak inside the first floor ceiling from an unknown source, probably a second floor fixture. There was a wet spot and a small hole from a different plumber who proved relatively unhelpful. John spent considerable time asking questions, suggesting possibilities, etc. He made it very clear that he hoped to avoid showing up and cutting holes in ceiling board, as water can travel. Note that the other plumber had no tools, said cameras rarely reveal leaks, and made poor suggestions... like caulking around a tub rim that hadn't been used as a shower or filled more than a few inches. John and I agreed in a plan to help identify the likely source. Twelve hours later, that proved mistaken, the "diagnosis" changed due to new information and a visit was scheduled. Their plumber and assistant arrived. My ceiling was checked in multiple areas very thoroughly with a moisture detector. The plumber spent considerable time trying to determine the pipe routes. I agreed to let them start cutting holes - they started by slightly enlarging the existing hole from the previous plumber. Inserted the camera, and located the leak in 2-3 minutes. They opened the ceiling and repaired the pinhole drip. The entire visit was under 90 minutes. The cost was much less than expected. No exaggeration- I looked at my phone - John spent almost another 90 minutes trying to help me on the phone at no charge - who else does that?! I'm convinced that, had I continued with the first plumber, I'd have holes in my ceiling board in several locations, and a much bigger bill. I'd used Nak previously - this reinforced my loyalty as a customer. read more

Had a bad cartridge in my shower. They came and replaced it the same day. Very polite and professional. A+ service. Thank you.

Installed our earthquake emergency shutoff valve within 30 minutes. They were fast and efficient and very friendly. Will look to them for any further plumbing needs. read more

Great place for plumbing service . Been using Nak for years. Always on time reliable and neat.

I've had Nak for Plumbing out for a few things and am always appreciative in knowing that when they're gone, the problem is good and solved! Recently had Sandeep out to repair a weak spot in my 4" cast iron waste stack. He looked at the pipe and discussed the options in repairing it. I chose to replace it with same (cast iron) since it much quieter than ABS. The repair looks great, the work area clean and you'd never know he was there. I then needed them to come out to do my gas earthquake valve. Once again, Sandeep did a great job. I asked to adjust how my meter was rotated (rotating it in a bit towards the house) and Sandeep handled it like a pro, no problem. Thank you! I will definitely be calling Nak for Plumbing again. They take care of the problem! read more

Highly recommend Nak for Plumbing! I had started a bathroom remodel but also had a list of other plumbing issues that needed attention. The jobs included conversion from two to one sink plumbing, replacing a pressure reducing valve, replacing a galvanized pipe, and replacing a tub spout that was rusted in place. Niles and his crew were very responsive, explained and answered all my questions. I have no doubt they will be the first ones I call for any future plumbing issues. read more

I needed to replace a thermocouple on a water heater. Nak for Plumbing responded quickly and scheduled repairs the next day. Second time I've used their services and was very pleased. Fair pricing and was not "Oversold" as another plumbing company tried to do. Nak for Plumbing is now my "Go To" for plumbing needs. read more

Needed a new water heater, called Nak. Keiko asked a few questions, quoted a price for the job, and set up an appointment over the phone. Brandon, Mikael and Chia replaced the water heater and did a meticulous, efficient, and professional job. They also noticed that the pressure regulator was no longer working, so they quoted a price to replace that. Chia did the work the next day and did another great job. It looked so good I took a picture. I have been using this company for 15 years and am still impressed by the quality of their work and the ease of working with them. Thanks again team Nak. read more

Nak for Plumbing is the best!! I've been using this company ever since we moved into our home almost two years ago. Whenever I have any questions or issues, John is so helpful. He either can advise me on what needs to be done or has a technician out to my home asap. Nak for Plumbing is ALWAYS fair and honest when it comes to just doing the work that needs to be done. A special thank you to Chia Chun who came out to clear a clogged sewer line and look over some questionable water valves. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything which I enjoy as I'm learning a lot about my home;) read more

Very happy I chose this company! I kept getting the run around with other companies, passed off from dispatcher to dispatcher, or they just wouldn't respond at all. Nak for plumbing was responsive, communicative, and efficient. The workers that came to set up my drain were very friendly, arrived on time and worked quickly. I would definitely use this company again and recommend them to anyone! read more

Needed some help with a failed do-it-yourself job and Nak Plumbing was able to send someone over within an hour. They saw that the job was fairly straightforward and quoted me a price that was higher than I expected, but given the quick response I went ahead with it. The job was completed efficiently and it's been a couple of weeks and no leaks or other issues, so I am pleased with the results. I'm a believer in the idea that you can get something done with high quality, low price, and quickly ... but you can only have two of the three. With Nak Plumbing I think you get the quality and the speed, but they won't be the cheapest. read more

I highly recommend this service. They were on time and professional. Offered great advice to address some of our plumbing concerns.

They were nice folks, but still couldn't fix the problem. I had a stopped up yard drain. NAK was very responsive. They sent somebody out the next day. Their guy worked on the problem for 2 hrs, but couldn't solve the issue. The only piece of equipment they had was a small battery powered snake. I would think that they would have a camera to check the line. Or, even a larger snake. Again, nice folks. But, they couldn't fix my problem. read more

Rock stars! We had a simple toilet fill valve replaced and a couple of other remodeling questions. The woman that set the appoint was quite nice. We got text and email confirmations of when the appointment was and who was going to be sent to our home. Jeremy was great! Not only did he explain the process nicely his Customer Service is exceptional. Seriously, he could change into a tux and be a fantastic Maitre'D at a 5 star restaurant. The issue was fixed, for a fair price and and we will always go back to Nak for Plumbing for our Plumbing needs. read more

My family has hired Nak for Plumbing twice to work on our business in a commercial unit. Their team is friendly and reliable; great work!

I highly recommend this company for quick, reliable and fair priced service. I had a major clog in my toilet causing my shower to back up with sewage. I reached out to Nak Plumbing through Yelp and heard back within minutes. They quickly provided both an estimate and same day availabilty. After reading through their 5 star reviews, I chose them over many other companies in the area. They called me within an hour to offer up an earlier appointment that I was happy to take. Two plumbers arrived promptly, my main point of contact was Mikael. They were both very professional, COVID safe and friendly. After showing Mikael the issues he openly communicated the pricing I should expect to snake my master toilet and remove the toilet as well. The job took 3.5 hours. The clog was quite bad and they had to bring in a much stronger snaking machine. After they fixed the clog, they took the time to vacuum the backup in my shower and cleaned up after themselves. Even though the job took much longer than expected and many attempts, they stayed true to their word with the cost estimate provided. Going into this experience I was very stressed about the potential cost especially after hours passed. They managed to make this experience a smooth one and they will have a long term customer and referrer from me. If you need a plumber, read the reviews carefully. Nak stayed true to theirs! read more

II hesitate to tell everyone how great our two experiences have been because it will make it harder to book them when we need them... but we also want them to be rewarded for being awesome. Friendly, fast, fair, responsive. Everything you look for. Both of our projects were far trickier than they should have been because of bad previous work by others. And both times, Nak sent people who solved the challenges creatively... and still quickly. Couldn't be happier. read more
