Same main line blockage problem came up and I call Warranted plumbing as always, but for whatever reason, Edwin was very rude today. First he let me know the price has gone up. Since they were at the same property for the same issue less than 4 months ago, I asked when did the price go up? He kept telling me "now the price is $350", I said I heard you the first time, I was asking when the price gone up but he simply repeat the answer and became more impatient each time. This went back and forth a few times and I finally gave up and said ok, never mind. He then hang up on me!! At that time, I felt, ok maybe he misunderstood so I called back. I asked him why was he so mad? He said because I asked too many questions? LOL. That's a first, I can't ask question about a job I am placing? Fine, I still wanted the service since they have been fixing the same problem many times and know what to do right away. I gave him the credit card info and everything, then I asked him is it really the tree root every time? I want to know if it's possible that the tenants might throw something in there they should not. He started yelling at me saying "I told you it's the tree root problem long time ago and you need the whole dig up and re-pipe service". Edwin has been trying to sell me the big project since day one, be that as it may be just the right solution, I as the property owner have my own concerns about what to do or not to do. Then he proceeded to tell me, "NO WARRANTY FOR YOU FROM NOW ON". That's the last straw. Mind you, I have been using their service for the last 5 years at least once a year, usually more. For whatever his problem today, I am a customer, and I don't need to be yelled at or be treated rudely. You don't want the business, just say so. I do not need to pay someone to be rude to me. This is the best freakin' plumber on this planet: they came within hours from contacting them regarding a clogged pipe. The clog was so bad, it broke their snake, yet they didn't charge me for the failed service. Since this previous review, we've used Warranted Plumbing Services 3 additional times. One was to replace two toilets back when our toddler flushed one of his toys down the toilet and it got stuck. Another was to snake one side of the house after our kitchen sink and washing machine had backed up. After that instance we had them do an inspection of the total plumbing system because we were advised we'd probably keep having issues on that side of the house because of the way it was designed (the house was previously flipped about 10 years ago). Upon doing that inspection they identified several problematic areas, a couple of which were just ticking time bombs for our house that was originally built in the 50s. We were provided a couple of different options, but just bit the bullet and had all of the plumbing replaced. It took 3 days, but Luis and crew did a great job. Luis explained everything throughout the process, always providing photos from underneath the house as well. Obviously it was an inconvenience and no one likes to get surprised with these types of expenses, but I feel good knowing we're not going to have to deal with any plumbing issues for many years to come. read more
