I am impressed. Echo saved us money and they did a better job on our newly purchased home. We had about 6 contractors out to the property. They all looked at our home buyer inspection report and quoted us for a full master bath replacement. None of them went under the house to double check the report. Sahy from Echo came out and went under the house and actually had us run the water to find leaks. He found two small leaks and some additional repairs and he figured out that the inspection report totally misdiagnosed the issue. Everyone else was wrong because they didn't want to do what Sahy enthusiastically did. They provided options on complying with permit requirements for installation of the valve for my residential gas meter, and beat the best price offered on other competitive quotes. While getting our driveway redone, figured I'd have our sewer lateral inspected (had occasionally smelled faint sewer gas smells in front of the house the past few summers). Echo inspected it and found one offset where stuff pooled a bit. This could have been spot-repaired. After they gave me some options, and I got a competing quote, however, I had them replace the original 1966 cast-iron sewer lateral from the house to the sidewalk with an HDPE line, upgrade the one-way clean out port to a two-way, and replace the ugly metal mushroom head cap with a Christy Box (sp?). I don't want to wait for a major issue with this. All done with permit from the sanitary district. Everyone we interacted with, from office staff to Chris (project lead) was knowledgeable, responsive, and helpful. I'd recommend them if you need sewer lateral work. read more

Everything, Juan came out regarding a plugged up line. Got it cleared out, had to remove the toilet, so as to run the snake through the line, a second plumber came with the equipment and all went well. Price was in line and Juan sent a camera down the cast iron pipe to check all was clear. He found the pipe interior had deteriorated and was full of debris from the age and use. He gave us an estimate to replace, very fair, we immediately set a date for the replacement, Juan showed up with several helpers at 8am, they were completely done by 12:30pm. Everything under the house, outside the house, etc. was like no one had been there. What a pleasant end to what was an upsetting unexpected event. You can bet if we need a plumber in the future we will call Echo Plumbing. read more

Deceptive scammers. Had a different great company come out to snake our main sewer line. They discovered a total block at 60' after a camera inspection (provided footage). Unfortunately they do not do this type of job, so we contacted Echo who said the could be right out to provide a free estimate. They arrived and immediately said the "free estimate" required them to run a camera and it would be $200. They refused to even look at the other companies footage to see if they even needed to run a camera again. There was nothing free about this quote and they were dishonest in not stating this cost up front. There is no reason they couldn't use the footage from the other company to provide a quote. $200 was more than the other company charged to snake the line and run a camera. Do not do business with a company that employs bait and switch tactics. Total scam. read more

I'm so glad I found this company! We had them come out to give us an estimate to replace our sewer line. I was so impressed with how knowledgeable they were. Other companies that came out were too quick and also wanted us to do quick fixes just to get money out of us in case we didn't want to spend the money to replace the whole thing (it's not cheap!) but the quick fixes would end up doing more damage. These guys laid out all the options and told us honestly what should be done and why in an easy to understand manner. I backed this info up by googling it. They were the only ones that truly knew what they were talking about. We haven't done the sewer line yet (again, not cheap!) but in the meantime, we hired them for other work. Our house is circa 1904 so a lot of work needs to be done. They have gone above and beyond to make sure we are happy. Absolutely recommend them! read more

After reaching back out to them we were able to come to an amicable resolution. Some words of warning A Quote is free, however, you need to specify that you're requesting a quote at calling. My partner mentioned "scoping the line" and that's why we were charged $250 for them to come out and explain things. A quote doesn't cost anything but you get no video nor explanation of why it should be replaced, just a price. I was told the $250 would be credited towards the replacement if we chose to go with them (have to decide within 1 month of quote) There was a miscommunication about "snaking" the sewer lateral vs. "Hydro-...something". I asked point blank, if "I pay you $250 more will you remove the roots" and the answer was yes and the roots were not removed. Given this miscommunication they agreed to refund us the cost of "snaking" the line. It was explained it would've taken longer to get rid of the roots and they would charge more for that so it's still bewildering that they agreed to take that extra $250 if they weren't going to remove the roots and they didn't appear to have done anything. They ended up paying me back $300 out of the $500 so I'm still out $200 but now can use the refunded money to have another company get rid of the roots. Expensive miscommunication if you ask me but glad they met me in the middle read more

We've been having issues with 1 of our shower drains for a while; drain-o and short drain clearing strips from Amazon weren't doing the trick. We finally decided to ask a few plumbers for some quotes, mostly expecting to need the snake for clearing of hair clumps. Echo Plumbing was quick to respond and sent some guys over promptly the next morning, beating out anyone else to the punch. On arrival, even prior to arrival, we were quoted $295 which felt a bit steep for a snaking job; we negotiated down to $250 but they wanted to do the job right then and there cuz they came from Concord. We weren't too happy that we couldn't get quotes from others without these guys leaving in a huff; even more annoying was they finished the job in 10 minutes. I can't deny their effectiveness and quick response, I'll just be more conscious about scheduling my quotes for jobs in the future, especially if they need to travel some distance and don't want to go back home without being paid. read more
