Generally, this…read moretype of heater costs twice as much (price and installation) as a traditional electric water heater, but costs a lot less to run (and therefore you recoup the additional cost in a few years from lower operating costs). I had a very easy experience getting an on-site quote. I received 3 quotes for this job. 2 quotes, including this one, came in around $7100. I went with a third one at around $6700 (which included an additional mixing valve) and am very happy with my decision. Overall price was not a big part of my decision, but brand of water heater was. After doing some research online, the most recommended brands are AO Smith and Rheem (GE). Both higher quotes were for Navien, which has only been making heat pump water heaters for 1 year, but I was told that it is the most reliable brand. I did not understand how this claim could be made, given how short the duration of evaluation for this product. Even the worst appliances usually work for at least a year. So I requested a quote for AO Smith or Rheem, which I did not get. I'm not sure why my brand request was not honored, but it made me question whether I should go with a company that either has communication issues or maybe some type of deal with Navien that I was not informed about. Many water heater installers are preferred installers of certain brands, which means they can get better pricing, etc. I did not want to be a guinea pig for Navien.

We had a clog in our kitchen sink. Another plumber came out and was unable to clear the blockage then quoted us a large amount to come back and try to flush out the pipes, but said it was temporary solution because we needed to replace a pipe that had been incorrectly installed during remodel. We called L.V Plumbing and Noa was able to come the next morning. He agreed that we needed to replace the pipe and was able to do it on the spot for a reasonable price. We ended up spending less to solve the problem than the temporary fix suggested by another company. I would not hesitate to call L.V plumbing again or recommend. read more

I had issue with my water shut off valve in the bathroom. I found LV plumbing. Noa the plumber came to my house, replaced my leaking shut off valve with new one, he also installed new toilet tank/bowl and bidet. He is very good,reliable, friendly honest and prompt. He charged me a good price. He is not pricey like most of them are.He came in on time, when he got done fixing, he cleaned up, so no mess, he even hauled my old toilet tank/bowl for free.
