Almighty plumbing is great for various reasons. 1. when you call them, they are local and your phone call will not be answered by some tech person in Los Angeles or Georgia.(Like some of the other plumbing companies out there.) 2. They are local and therefore able to make time to come and see you on the day of your call. They do charge $29 for the consultation fee, but they do excellent work and it's worth it. 3. The technician plumber will take the time to explain what is wrong and will give you his most reasonable best guess to fix it. In our case, we had just bought a house, we had a leaky kitchen faucet that was leaking into the baseboards under the sink, we needed a new faucet, I went out and bought one and Javier came out a few days later and replaced it. I went to Home Depot Martinez and paid $169 for a Delta kitchen faucet. So yes you should totally go with these guys! Thorough work, they wear booties so as not to dirty your floors and very knowledgeable!! read more

My mother needs 24 hour care and when I broke an irrigation pipe I couldn't leave her because she can't walk on her own or use the bathroom. I can understand paying the $250 for emergency service. I was quoted an additional $500 for just putting a 3/4" cap on the pipe (a 10 minute job). I complained and the service snake dropped it down to $409. I had no choice but to pay $659 total for a 10 minute job. read more

Don't hire Almighty plumbing for emergency services. This company charged me 49 dollars one time visit just for nothing. Also you need pay them 29 dollars for cancel fee. Five stars for Almighty Plumbing. It was a stellar experience working with them. Last night, as we ran the washing machine, water poured out of the pipe behind it and flooded our laundry area. We had no idea what the problem was, but I thought it couldn't be simple. Looking at Yelp, I found Almighty Plumbing and contacted them. Almighty is run by brothers Michael and Javier. Michael replied soon after to my contact form inquiry. Today, his brother Javier came out and fixed the problem. The issue turned out to be root intrusion into one of our sewer pipes. Javier ripped out as many roots as possible, snaked the pipes, and left everything in excellent working condition. He also told us what options we had for maintaining and improving the situation in the future. We had an emergency January 2023, a broken sewage line under our home. Almighty Plumbing came to the rescue and helped us coordinate a restoration company to clean up and allow them to come in to get the job done asap. They were clean and efficient. Fixed the problem and were very honest and explained everything they needed to do and showed us visuals of what was going on under the house. June 2024, our water heater went out. Almighty Plumbing to the rescue again. I called them about 9:00am and they were able to fit us in same day 2pm. Michael showed up and knocked out the job like the pro he is. Fast, efficient, and clean job. While most people are going to look for the cheapest way out. I'm not a DYI when it comes to special trades work. Almighty Plumbing responded to us right away on Yelp after we reached out to them with a request for work on our water heater and on one of our bathrooms. Michael P. immediately inquired further about the project we had in mind and requested some pictures of the areas that needed work. We corresponded with him pretty efficiently via email. And he gave us a recommendation to replace our old water heater and provided us with a quote and price comparisons with if we decided to keep our old one. That really helped us make an informed decision. They finished the water heater project within a matter of days (2 days I think?) - and the new water heater looks nice. Then they moved onto the bathroom and fixed the leaking areas and some plumbing issues in about 3 days. Had an issue with our toilet drain and found Michael at Almighty Plumbing. All communications were fast, efficient and informative; never had to wait long for a response. Very important when you are dealing with plumbing issues. Michael kept me updated regarding arrival times and when he arrived; he put on shoe covers before entering my house. While Michael was there, I enquired about replacing our toilet for one that is of better quality and more water efficient. He came back the next day to install the new toilet. He gave constant updates and when he found issues; he gave me different options that I was comfortable with. I never thought I would be so happy to have a new toilet; but it looks more like a throne now! LOL Bathroom was left clean; I didn't have to clean anything! My 23-year old Bradford White gas-fired water heater stopped during the weekend. The water was very hot and the pressure release valve kept hissing and leaking. I called Almighty Plumbing Monday morning. Michael showed up at my house in Berkeley around 10am to survey the situation. He said my problem was either too much water pressure or a malfunctioning thermostat. He discussed my replacement options and I agreed to have him install a new 40-gallon Bradford White. Before noon he had returned with a new unit. By 2:30pm he was finished. He did a great job installing the unit and rerouting a drain line. I'm pleased. Javier showed up within a couple hours after I called. Very knowledgeable, he saw the water heater burner problem right away. While working on a repair estimate, he called the manufacturer and found that that heater burner is under factory recall. He gave me another plumbing company to call, complete with phone number and recall info. When I called them (Plumbing Care), their guy came within another couple hours, replaced the whole burner unit and pilot controller while there and charged me nothing. Not so good for the heater manufacturer (Bryant) but terrific service from Almighty and they charged only $29 for the service call. read more

I found Almighty Plumbing when searching for someone to fix my shower when the hot water would not shut off. After calling around and getting insane weekend rates from other plumbing companies, I finally found Almighty. They came out right away and charged a reasonable rate without gouging me for it being a Saturday. Michael was professional, friendly, and fast. More recently a pipe under my house sprung a leak and was soaking the crawl space. Almighty responded quickly but couldn't come right away because they were already on an emergency call. I decided I would rather wait for them than call anybody else. They were able to come earlier than expected and fixed the pipe quickly.
