After a long week of unrelated plumbing issues, our water heater went out around 5:00 on a Saturday, it was 14 years old !!!! A friend had just used JITWH, so we called them that night and they were out the next morning at 8:00 a.m. Doniel was timely, professional and quick with the replacement. He installed a high quality, made in America water heater, not a cheep big box one. I would highly recommend them. read more

Doniel was great and communicative. He was also able to get to me faster than anyone else.

5/5 Stars -- Outstanding Service! If you need plumbing work done right, look no further than Just in Time Water Heaters. Doniel is top-tier. He recently came out to replace our old kitchen faucet, install a new garbage disposal, and swap out the angle stops under the sink. From start to finish, Doniel was punctual, highly professional, and meticulous with his work. You can tell he takes real pride in running a quality business--every fitting was tested thoroughly, the workspace was left spotless, and the new setup works flawlessly. It's rare to find an owner-operator who brings this level of honesty, craftsmanship, and efficiency to the job. I'll definitely be reaching out to Doniel for any future plumbing needs. Highly recommended! read more

This guy was the first local plumber to answer and respond to my call and could quickly replace our old water heater that had obviously failed and was leaking all over our garage floor. He identified the issues that needed to be brought up to code and improved the water heater installation and ventilaton, and so I trust the quality of his work as well. His quality of work and his attentiveness lives up to his businesses name. He also explained his reccomendation of water heater brands and the relative quality between an american made Bradford White water heater vs the other brands sold at Home Depot and Lowes. He wasn't the cheapest option available to us, but he stands behind the work he does, so that is worth something to me. read more

Today, Friday 28Nov2025, I called Mr Doniel Nunn as I saw a great review here on Yelp. I called at approx 6:45AM and he picked up the phone that he is coming over at 9AM. We had issue with the tankless water heater keep on alarming, the gas range not working and the house heater was not heating up. He got here before 9AM and he fixed the issue right away. Mr Nunn responded right away and fixed it and explained to me what happened. Thank you so much! Five Stars for Mr Doniel Nunn! read more

I had a great experience with "Just In Time Water Heaters". Doniel showed up the next morning with a new 50 gallon water heater after I made a call at 9:30pm and left a message the night before. He returned my call within 5 minutes! He arrived on time and called me 30 before his arrival. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and installed my new water heater within 2 hours. His communication was excellent from start to finish. If you want fair pricing, expert specialized service, and a technician who respects your time and home, call "Just In Time Water Heaters" and ask for Doniel. Highly recommended! read more

Fast reliable service at a decent price. He fixed the issue in no time and taught me something and didn't try to sell me anything.

Doniel was fantastic. Came out for a same-day consult. Arrived to replace the heater in the early evening after we contacted him in the afternoon that we were going with him. Prompt, courteous, and professional. He explained the problems with our old heater thoroughly and walked us through what needed to be done, answering any questions we had. Very pleasant and professional experience. Extremely reasonable prices. Honestly couldn't be happier we went with him. read more

Called for repair of the ignition on our 12 year old Natural Gas Rheem tank heater. Dispatch was prompt, Doniel arrived on time, showed us the corrosion on the existing tank, and recommended replacment. The price for a new 40 gallon Bradford & White was fair and he completed the work while ensuring the tank was properly vented and strapped and added a new catch pan. Very happy with the service and value. I'm glad to have replaced this aging unit before it started leaking! read more

Highly recommend avoiding. I experienced major concerning issues. My issues were very similar to Joe E's one star review on 12/22/24 My home warranty insurance had Doniel come to my rental property which isn't local to me. His scam is to recommend replacing water heater because it's more profitable and easier for him to replace than fix. He doesn't want to fix it and going to attempt to have you unnecessarily replace it. He will drag his feet and say he's ordering parts or plans to come out to the property to take another look, but he won't and it will put you in a worse situation before he tries to recommend replacing with a new one again. He didn't show up to 3 appointments over a 3-week period for a water heater issue for a disabled elderly tenant. He never placed the diagnosis report into my insurance. He plays the "I'm one of the good guys" card and I fell for it. After all the issues, he snapped and became extremely unprofessional and hostile so he could get out of the work. Cursing, yelling, screaming over me, and using the race card just because he didn't want to show up to for a repair. Update: I had someone else come out and he said that the power was off. He simply turned it back on. This guy wanted to replace it for $4000 for no reason. read more

Outstanding service, he was the first to respond on a Sunday and had it fixed on a Monday morning. It turns out we was taking a little vacation time and still responded. He also tells you what you need and doesn't try to sell you a new water heater, unless you really need one. read more

Mr. Doniel (Don-yell) was extremely professional, keeping a great line of communication! He gave me a great, honest quote for a brand new water heater installation, safety mechanics, and warranties. For the price I paid & efficiency with the entire service, it was definitely worth it! read more

My husband and I came home around midnight to a massive puddle of water and what looked like salt in our garage. We quickly determined it was our water heater (the one that came with the house when we bought it) and we had no idea how to fix it. Yelp connected me with Just In Time Water Heaters, and by 7am Doniel was making arrangements to come take a look! He determined pretty quickly that not only did our water heater need replacing, it was also not installed up to earthquake safety code. Doniel gave us a fair quote for all the work he'd have to do to remove the old unit, move the pipes around to accommodate a new model plus the earthquake bracing, and install the new unit. He was done in a few hours and even helped us check and adjust our water pressure at the main valve. What could have been a truly awful start to the weekend was just a hiccup thanks to Doniel and Just In Time Water Heaters. I highly recommend working with them! I would again if I need to, but I highly doubt the water heater he installed is going anywhere anytime soon. read more

I've been in the bay area for 10 years, and there are few people I would recommend as highly for anything as Doniel! He helped us years ago when our water heater sprung a leak right after we moved into our first home and helped a clueless family navigate that problem with ease and confidence. Then when a particularly difficult to solve issue happened recently, he was quick to respond and went so far above and beyond what I would expect from anyone to help until not only it was fixed, but he also taught me so much about my own system and how it works and to fix it. I and my entire family can not thank you enough!!!! read more

Donielle was great. Quick, efficient, and informative. He switched out our old water heater quickly and explained everything I needed to know. read more

Verry pleased with Danielle and just in Time water heaters. It was the weekend and I was having trouble finding somebody that could come by yet Daniel, hardworking guy that he is, squeeze me in Sunday morning and did a great job installing my hot water heater. Daniel was very professional, friendly and took care of my needs. I would highly recommend this company. read more

Our hot water heater finally died. Of course it was on a Friday morning and we were having company over for the weekend. Just In Time was the first company to respond to my Yelp search with a clear message of what they can do and when they could arrive. They have all of the necessary equipment on their truck. Daniel messaged me when he was 30 minutes away which I really appreciated. Everything went smoothly and by noon we had a new water heater. This is a very good company and a very nice man. I would recommend this business to anyone in need of a new water heater. read more

Doniel was great. He explained all of the steps he was taking and gave me options at each step.

I can't recommend this business highly enough. Very quick to schedule, and went above and beyond to fix my issue the same day. Pricing was more than fair. He even helped me set up my warranty. Thank you so much, Doniel! read more

Very impressed and happy with Just In Time Water Heaters. Late Friday afternoon found water in the garage coming from our water heater. Sent an inquiry on Yelp! and for a response with a quote very quickly from Just In Time Water Heaters. Doneil came out early this morning and was done in no time. Super happy to have hot water and no leak & definitely will recommend to anyone needing water heater repair/replacement. read more

PG$E came out and advised of required repair before my water heater could be relit. I called Just in Time Water Heaters and spoke directly to Mr. Doniel. He came the same day and gave me options, which I had asked about the difference between Tankless and regular, then decided to replace my current water heater. One thing I had not noticed was our water heater was not up to code, so I appreciate him getting it up and running and in compliance so fast, and it is hot as He** compared to the last one. read more

My old water heater busted and was leaking water all over the garage. Having young kids, obviously I needed it replaced urgently. I created a Yelp Project request and had several companies come out to give estimates on the same morning. Doniel was the earliest to arrive, and I ended up choosing him based on his honest and forthright explanation of my options, and competitive pricing. He was able to install a new tankless water heater the same day, working late into the evening. He did a fantastic and tidy job, including hauling away my old water heater. Three weeks after installation, the tankless heater is working phenomenally (a real quality of life upgrade, especially when bathing kids sequentially). I'm very happy I chose Doniel. If your water heater is ten years old, do yourself a favor and have him install a new one for you before it breaks, rather than after, like me. read more

Had a broken water heater. Called them up and spoke to Anne, very nice and professional. Daniel came the next day, this man is a gentle giant. Very professional and you can see he knows what he's doing. Got it done in time. Awesome company. Grateful, thank you. read more

Doniel was very responsive, professional and has the experience to know what was needed to complete the job by the symptoms of our water heater. He had the parts in his van and came out on the same day (Sunday) and completed the job. Will not hesitate to contact Doniel for future water heater issues, as well as let my neighbors know to use Just In Time too. read more

We requested service and Doniel Nunn responded to our call. He arrived and diagnosed the issue. There were questions regarding the service plan, and Mr. Nunn went above and beyond to contact the service agency and get the issue resolved. Mr. Nunn came prepared to repair, and/or replace the water heater. He replaced the unit in a timely manner and left the work area very clean. Mr. Nunn was prompt, professional and personable and I recommend him to anyone in need of his services. read more

Service call was for a Tankless Rinnai water Heater . Error code 15 was flashing = no hot water. Service person / owner Doniel was professional indicated he's very knowledgeable on tankless water heaters and the Rinnai Diagnostic testing $150.00 which required him looking online watching trouble shooting videos and reading the paper manual. Took the main cover off, clean a couple parts , and called the manufacturer , however was put on hold the duration . After cleaning a couple small contact points it appeared to work, Doniel reinstalled the main cover we had hot water. Paid him now another $150.00 because he said he got it working . Half hour after he left "no hot water" error code 15 flashing again. Called Doniel back, he advised , the manufacturer indicated it was the gas valve , asked if he ordered it (covered under warranty ) so no but he will call. Thats when things turned south, messaged him later , if he ordered , said he could order online , I mentioned if needs anymore info to message ie no response I text him next day (Sunday) no reply , I called him , and immediately indicated for me to find another repairman . what? I tried talking / he tried explaining , that's when his unprofessionalism took center stage; said he's not my wife that I can talk over , he's not a slave , he doesn't work for no one and on & on I question his experience on more technical situations, requiring a mere push , pull & clean A positive he did re-imburse me $141.00 not sure why it wasn't $150.00 read more

Our Rheem water heater had a sensor fail which stopped the burner from activating - apparently pretty common. Called Rheem who shipped replacement parts over. Called Doniel to come by to install the replacement parts but after he was all done, it turns out the replacement sensor was also defective! Was really in a bind but then Doniel went above and beyond. He found a replacement part he had in his truck and replaced our sensor again, now for a second time for the cost of the part. We added a bit for labor ourselves because it only seemed fair. He was essentially doing most of the job again. I'm certain he spent more time making sure we were up and running than was reflected in his bill and our family is very grateful. It's rare to find someone who really does care about his customers and I learned two lessons from this experience. 1. Don't buy Rheem water heaters. 2. Call Doniel if you need anything water heater-related! read more

What amazing service! I reached out via a Yelp project at 9:20pm at night and got a response back from Ann in less than 10 minutes. I was able to quickly schedule an appointment for the following day. Doniel called to confirm the appointment and showed up right on time. He talked me through my options, the pluses and minuses, and what each would cost. Their pricing was good, on the low side compared to other quotes I got. A few minutes after he left I called back and asked when we would be able to replace my gas water heater with another similar unit. To my surprise, Doniel told me he had one in the truck and could do it right away! He was back within ten minutes and got to work immediately. The previous water heater had been installed by the previous homeowner, a DIY kind of person. Doniel faced some challenges bringing everything up to code in the space available, and ended up having to use almost entirely new fittings. He even threw in an under pan for free! In less than 2 hours he was done, and we had working hot water again. It was a perfect experience. Hopefully this new water heater will last a long time, but when I need another one I'm calling Doniel and Just In Time again! read more

Woke up to our 22 year old water heater leaking. Found Just In Time on Yelp and sent out a quote request. Doniel responded within minutes and was at our house within two hours to replace it. His quote was competitive and we had a new water heater up and running shortly afterwards. He was prompt, honest and conscientious. He cleaned up afterwards and didn't leave a trace. Doniel made everything about this un-fun and unanticpated expense seamless. I hope not to have to replace out water heater again, but if I do, I will absolutely call Just in Time. read more

Contacted Doniel when our water heater started leaking one night. The very next morning he was at my house installing a new unit. Our old one was from 1994 and needed some things brought up to code. It didn't slow him down one bit. He was in and out in 2 hours. He is very professional and I would HIGHLY recommend his services to family and friends. We contacted three different services on Friday to get estimates for our water heater repair or replacement on Saturday. Doniel was very accommodating and arrived as scheduled on Saturday morning. The other services gave us verbal estimates but Doniel gave us a written estimate that was competitive with the others. And he was available to start the work right then and there.
