I initially saw a vehicle I was interested in at Delta when I was in the area at a another car dealer, the vehicle was in great condition and aggressively (below KBB) priced, but they were closed so I had to return in a few days. That first vehicle turned out to be not a perfect fit so I looked at a few different vehicles and one really caught my eye, so I tried to bargain the price down. Badi told me all he had done to it (new timing belt, resurfaced heads, new water pump etc all work I was planning to have to do myself) so I agreed the price was a good one. Truthfully I became his customer right then and there, his sincerity and honesty shone through, as someone in sales myself I recognize integrity when I see it, he simply stated the facts and they were non-negotiable, a tactic I use myself, just tell the truth, so I decided to buy it. It was a little more than I was prepared to spend so I called my banker and negotiated a loan at 2.4% that was great until it turned out I couldn't get a loan on a vehicle over 10 years old so I had to leave empty handed, I was really sad, it was an awesome little Tacoma. I went home and decided if I was going to have to get financing I would just set my standards a little higher so I looked into what I could spend, got my financing in order, and started shopping with my new criteria and -boom- sitting thousands of dollars below any other vehicle was another vehicle from Delta! "You have got to be kidding me!!!" I thought to myself, I live over on the coast so yet ANOTHER drive to Concord, oof so I continued shopping.
Nothing else was even close, I'm talking not even within 4-5 thousand dollars close, there were basically 3 vehicles that fit my criteria and the other two were high mileage and his was 44k so I called him back and said, "Hang on to that Tundra, I'm coming for it!" I was ready to buy it basically sight unseen if he gave me a good report on it, so I asked him about it and he was completely honest, he told me in detail about the truck so I drove back yet again and bought it. The only snag was I had to secure different financing but I was able to do that in moments from Redwood Credit Union (another five star review I need to write) and now I'm looking at an amazing nice 2013 Tundra that had 45k miles on it I purchased out the door for well under KBB including taxes and fees sitting in my driveway, it took me about 15 minutes to bring it up to snuff (new windshield wipers and a turn signal bulb).
I trust this man and would recomend anyone to shop there, I have been written about in Yelp dozens of times, but this is the first review I have ever written that's how strongly I feel about this. Thank you Badi, you not only made a customer, you made a friend. read more
