IF I COULD LEAVE ZERO STARS, I WOULD! Bought a Range Rover from here October 2023 and it was the worst decision ever. The guy who sold the car to me, Matt, told me the car had zero problems except for the car battery which I replaced. I had to take it to the mechanic 2 more times within a month. All the brakes were torn, wasted, damaged. The alternator had to be replaced. I have spent over $5000 on mechanic fees and parts ever since I bought this car. I still haven't received my car plates and its been over 3 months now. DO NOT buy a vehicle from here, unless you want to be screwed over for your money. It is bad business. I am only doing this to warn people to be extremely carful with this guy. Matt is a SCAM ARTIST!!!! I was in a very hard situation having been in a serious car accident March 18 2022 - I need a car for work. This man took advantage of that fact because he new I was hemorrhaging money renting from Enterprise . Matt was SO kind when I was test driving this 2011 Nissan with me and going over the paperwork. Showed me the CarFax, the owners manual was inside etc. Because I do not live near Concord CA I financed it and then drove it away back to Oakland to have have it looked over by my mechanic of 6 years WHO I TRUST. Turned out the car was SERIOUSLY unsafe to drive. No back breaks, shot back tires, dirty transmission fluid, broken front Axel boots. faulty headlight, broken break light and dead wipers. This MAN! And some how he financed me for 8.6 k . Where did my 2500 go !? 1 week into driving the car , engine light comes on . I call this guy and he tells me put gas into the car and it will go away smh , come to find out the car had a bad fuel tank and is 700$ to repair . I still can't believe I heard him say that. I needed the license plate number so I could run a CarFax report on this vehicle. The seller told me that you could not do this in California and it was illegal. Every time I politely overcame his objections he came up with an excuse. This Craigslist ad turned out to be AWESOME! First, I was called back quickly and got a friendly voice, named Matt. After exchanging pleasantries, I asked Matt to tell me about the car i inquired about he was selling. He gave me history and agreed to meet the following day as well as accept my counter offer from his listed selling price. We met along with my partner and sealed the deal after the test drive. I purchased a clean 1998 Jaguar, Vanden Plas with 84K miles. He sells cars that are in very bad mechanical shape and then covers the issues up with a car fax company of his choice. And he has a cohort car repair service (Independent Volvo Service) that colludes with him for them to make big bucks at the consumer's expense. In other words, Concord Motors sells lemons. Be very wary of what you sign. Do not sign his "AS IS" form. You will regret it. Look at the second page of it, take it to your own mechanic and have the car checked. We don't live in a perfect world so I can only review my personal experience. Concord motors is NOT a brick and mortar pressure selling dealership. It's a small office setting with only one person doing the selling and DMV paperwork. That person is Matt. He is from what I understand a vehicle selling broker. He buys vehicles from Auctions and bank Repo's and sell them at a great price to us consumers. All his vehicles are mechanically checked and detailed prior to sell. Yes, he has is own mechanics but don't all dealers do? He will provide a clean title and a printout of vehicle history. He allows you test drive and check the vehicle out all you want until you are satisfied. There will be no surprises. I have purchased 3 cars from Matt and so far I have been 100% satisfied. Here is the kicker. Unlike used car dealerships he actually gives you 30 days to address any issues with purchase. The last car I purchased was a Nissan Altima for my grandson. All the tire pressure sensors were missing so the light on the dash would not extinguish. When I told him of the problem he told me to take it to a shop and send him the repair invoice. Withing a few days I received a s $300 plus refund check from Matt. Tell me what dealership would do that! He will also make every effort to find a particular vehicle at your price if you wish. If you don't have cash he can provide financing. I will NOT hesitate to recommend Concord motors to anyone looking for good used late model vehicle.
