I had a somewhat frustrating experience here. I ordered a quesadilla through the drive-thru and then realized it wasn't even placed in my bag. I waited at the window for a few minutes, even honked, and it still took about 3 minutes for someone to come back. When the employee finally returned, he charged me for the quesadilla and then handed me a tiny one that didn't match what I ordered. On top of that, he grabbed my phone to process the tap payment while wearing the same gloves he was using to handle food, then went right back to preparing food without changing them. That was honestly concerning from a hygiene standpoint. I opened the back and seen I was provided the quesedilla (attached ) At that point, I drove around and went inside because the situation just didn't make sense. I asked him why he felt it was okay to give me that, and I requested a refund. Instead of addressing it right away, he continued helping other customers. When I asked again about the refund, another employee responded with attitude saying, "I'm making the quesadilla," even though that's not what I asked for. I just wanted my money back. At that point, it felt like too much back and forth over a couple of dollars, so I let it go. But the lack of communication, accountability, and customer service, along with the hygiene issue, was really disappointing. Overall, I won't be coming back. Just wanted to share my experience so others can decide for themselves. Definitely see why they have two stars. read more

What can I say about Del taco? This place has been solid for the 40 years I've been alive and even though it's not the greatest place in the world for Mexican food It hits the spot. I love the original chicken rollers And any of the chicken tacos. Sometimes the staff can be extremely friendly and sometimes they could care less but what do you expect from a fast food restaurant. This Del Taco is right down the street from us and has always been our go to location. In the last month their service has declined. Whenever I go through the drive-through the lady at the window has asked me to pull forward past the window. I assume so the vehicle is not standing on their timer sensor to get the meals out quickly. This makes it very awkward trying to pass your card and the food back-and-forth in the vehicle especially when ordering a large cup. It's hard to grab it with a straw at that kind of an angle as you're reaching halfway out the window behind you. worst is they take an obnoxious amount of time to actually get the food ready sometimes which sadly isn't even because it's fresh since the french fries I've been handed and sometimes even the tacos are cold like they've been sitting there for a while. Every time I ask for mild sauce, I end up getting Inferno, which is just a waste and annoying since I don't get to use any of the hot sauce. They never give me a receipt unless I remember to ask for it. So most of the time I don't have the order number information to submit a complaint on their website. read more

Such a pleasant trip to a fast food joint! My husband and I went for a quick stop--they had vegan options (with plant-based beyond meat!) It was like a combination of Taco Time and Taco Bell with the addition of fresh avocados! I got the Avocado Veggie Bowl--it was the perfect size for a pregnant lady (I'm currently trying to eat smaller meals more frequently) and still pretty filling at the same time! Not open 24 hours. Closed the inside area before 10 pm. Closed the drive through before 11 pm. CHECK YOUR ORDER NEFORE YOU DRIVE AWAY!!! 8 of us got home and realized one order was wrong and parts or all of 4 of our orders were missing. Drove back through the drive through. Manager came to the window and agreed to give me all but my own order, a chicken burrito. He insisted he made it himself and I got it. I know it's nothing fancy and that's ok. It's cheep tacos and burritos etc which is great on days you've been out and about shopping etc . After a full day adventuring we stopped for a quick bite before heading to the hotel foe the night. We decided to eat inside. The location was clean and EMPTY. We were the only people. That being said we were completely ignored by multiple employees for a good few minutes. As we were about to leave the guy running the drive they window said hello and helped take our order. We received our food before we even got our drinks filled at the station which was great. We picked our table and started to eat. Our fries were completely cold and tasted overly dry. The fries are usually my favorite at Del Taco, but these were disgusting. Our burritos and tacos however were great. The play yard was closed due to covid. The kids were a bit disappointed, bu I was not ...those things are a germ fest on a normal day without Covid ha ha. Arrived in the drive thru and waited several minutes without anyone greeting us over the speaker. I then said "hello" and an employee came over the speaker very delayed and asked what I wanted. Yes it is a three-star review but what can I say it is Del Taco and it is fast food. And I have to say that this place has saved me a thousand times. They're open late and I became a frequent flyer once I found out how decently great their hamburger was. Their fries are nothing to write home about. They come in a giant cup and often are soggy on the bottom. But when that late night craving hits it actually hits the spot. I don't think that they will ever get above 3 stars but in my heart I will always have a soft spot for them as they have saved me and my family on a huge craving by buying their giant box of tacos and of course their subpar quesadillas always hit the spot. read more

Disgusting - omg, SO dirty, especially the men's restroom (but I'll bet the womens restroom was just as bad) Urinal in men's room not working, dirty toilet, dirty sink, paper on floor, door to stall did not lock. The restaurant (inside) was not that clean either. We walked in 11am (I don't think they'd been open that long) and tables were dirty. Walked up to the counter "we'll be with you in a minute ..." we were the only ones in the store. It was more like 5 minutes, my partner had enough time to use the restroom. Then not even a "thanks for waiting..." or "sorry for the wait" They had plenty of workers, just more emphasis on the drive-thru obviously, not much for people coming inside...and after the looks of the tables and restroom, better not to GO INSIDE this awful place. After watching a late night movie, my family and I decided to grab some tacos. Despite coming in at 9:55 (they closed the dining room at 10:00) they still served us with no hassle. The pictures on the menu look pretty appetizing, but it is VERY different compared to what we got. I ordered 2 classic Del Tacos with a side of fries and a soda. The taco shells were very flavorless and stale (despite being 5 minutes to the inside closing), the fries were soggy and unseasoned, but the soda was, you know... Soda.
