Jack of all trades breakfast sandwich
Ha T.

I understand why the Jack of all trades breakfast sandwich is a favorite of patrons. It is stuffed with everything you'd want and quite shareable. I would definitely order it again. For my drink, I got the seasonal okinawa haze, which was a nice caffeine pick me up, but I did not really taste the flavor so I may try another drink next time. The cafe is perfect for remote work if you're looking for a change in pace.

I ordered a vanilla bean latte and a spinach & feta croissant. DELISH!!!! I preordered, it was hot and ready when I arrived. I will be returning. The coffee was amazing.

Great sandwhich selection!

Food selection is very good, their monthly specialty coffee is fab! Very smiley crew! Ambiance and space in between tables is just right. You gotta check them out!

Such an awesome cafe in the area! I love how they have specialty coffees so they have unique drinks. I got the Maker's Mark latte and the chicken salad sandwich. It's great that they have lunch sandwiches all day long so you don't need to wait until a certain time to order it. The chicken salad was delicious and moist with crunchy celery and lettuce! I also really enjoyed my latte. There's plenty of seating and free WiFi. The workers are also so nice and brought my order to me! I will definitely be back.

Great addition to the neighborhood. I have a Starbucks 1/4 mile away from where I live but I chose to walk 1.2 miles this morning to have breakfast here. The coffee is good and the One Eyed Veggie sandwich is delicious and big enough for two people.

Looking for a coffee spot while staying in the area during a rainy Easter Day and landed here. The place so cozy ended up staying for a bit. Ordered Jack of All Trades breakfast sandwich , Nocturne specialty Latte and chocolate croissant. The sandwich was huge and soooo tasty, no questions for the latte and croissant. Awesome people behind the counter who took the time to recommend things. I would definitely be back here to try other items and other specialty lattes as well!

Located in a pretty nondescript little center, De Clieu is a nice coffee shop with a relaxing atmosphere, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and a good selection of food and drink. I really appreciated that they music they played was mellow and at a low volume so it was easy to chat or to focus. The menu is pretty extensive. When we went, we tried the coconut mocha and the mango smoothie which were both very good. The smoothie had a lot of mango flavor and I appreciated that the coffee was hot and not lukewarm as seems to be the case in many places. The cinnamon scone was good as well and it was nice that they warmed it up. The super club was very satisfying and big enough to share. The bread was good and the mayo and jalapeno gave it a great consistency and flavor. We would definitely come back.

We were in Reston pretty early and decided to grab breakfast. This was super close to where we needed to be so we stopped in. My husband went in while I waited with our pup. It didn't take too long. My husband wanted an espresso but their machine was down? So he ordered a regular coffee. We also got breakfast sandwiches (avocado, egg, cheese, bacon for him and eggs & cheese for me), a cinnamon roll, a cinnamon scone, and oatmeal. He said the coffee was fine, hopefully next time he can get an espresso. The sandwiches were delicious. It came on brioche bread and it was super soft. The egg was very fluffy. I enjoyed the oatmeal, it was a little sweet for my taste but still enjoyable. The cinnamon roll was delicious. It came warmed up too! It's a really nice addition to the area, and we'll definitely be back. Plenty of parking and really cute decor.

Adding a star for stellar service from the one Asian girl at the front :) I haven't found my favorite latte from here yet, but I just love the aesthetics at this location. The beautiful real pothos and English (?) ivy hanging from the ceiling. Large enough seating and outdoor seating to chill. Came in on a Friday morning to do some work and try a new latte. The Beach Paradise is so beautiful--it has a blue, light tan, and light brown which is so aesthetic and I see why it's called Beach Paradise. I didn't love the coconut and banana but I did love how pretty it was. I certainly enjoy a good and hearty sandwich from them as well.

Opened today in what used to ge a dry cleaner near the 7-11. Lots of seating inside with windows allowing lots of natural light. And yes free WiFi available! Besides lots of coffee, espresso, and tea options... they also offer bakery goodies, breakfast, and lunch sandwiches all served all day. Hiding over where you pick up your coffee are the gelato options. Nice option as they also had fresh mango and strawberries there as well. Real plants dot the ceiling which I like that they brought the outside in. Place echoes but so some additional sound dampening would be nice. Chairs are hard metal but there are some cushions about... to be honest I wish all chairs had cushions. Appears they have space for some outdoor seating but didn't notice anything yet. Hubby dies kids temp and no foam on his latte. That needs a bit of work as one should scrap off the resulting fish plus their temp still a bit too hot. Just commenting as this is easily fixed. Hubby also likes agave as his sweetener which they don't have but we are used to carrying our sun for this reason. Again just a comment for those interested. Right now hours are 7 to 5. Parking can get tight at times in this lot. There is also street parking. We live just around the corner so I'm hoping to do some walking. Need to justify the tasty cinnamon roll with icing I saw in the case. Glad they are open... looking forward to front a frequent customer!

Okinawa latte, egg and cheese with sausage on challah

I'm a huge fan of the De Clieu in Fairfax and this one is also great! The food is delicious and the drinks are amazing. My only note is that the drink special Okinawa latte doesn't taste super ube-y, but it's still good. Lots of seating as well!

2 iced orange bon bons and a iced makers mark latte. Cold foam was amazing. Latte was insane.

Stopped at Makers Union in Reston on a rainy Sunday afternoon after taking our dog to the dog park…read more We sat outside on the patio with Onyx, and our server Kenny was great. When the rain started becoming an issue, he actually moved the umbrellas together to make sure Onyx had a dry spot. Really appreciated that. We started with a Bourbon Club and the Nitro Espresso Martini, then got the buffalo wings and she-crab soup. The wings can be grilled or fried and we went grilled, which was definitely the right call. Good char on them and I'd get them the same way again. The she-crab soup was also really good and perfect for a rainy afternoon. For lunch we had the French dip and the Reuben, and subbed the mac and cheese for one of the sides. Both sandwiches were solid, but the mac and cheese deserves a mention of its own. Definitely worth the substitution. Good food, good drinks, and especially good service from Kenny. Being able to hang out on the patio with our dog without the rain ruining lunch made the whole experience even better.

We had Mackenzie as our server and immediately connected because she's a foodie like me. At her suggestion, I got the Grilled Chicken Sandwich but swapped the grilled chicken for fried. She had me at bacon. I mean, what doesn't go well with bacon? The chicken was crispy without being greasy and all the flavors just worked. My son had the chicken and waffles. Chicken was perfectly crispy, although the batter was a little sweeter than I prefer. I'm more of a Southern, savory fried chicken person. We asked for hot sauce to add to the maple syrup and Mackenzie upped it by bringing us hot honey instead. YES! Makers Union, add that to the menu. Promise you, it'll be a hit. You can thank Mackenzie for that one! Hubby had the fish and chips. His first reaction was, "Is that all?" Turns out, it was more than enough and really flavorful. The food was great, but honestly, Mackenzie made the experience. When your server understands food AND is a great people person, that's a winning combination. Great first visit and we'll definitely be back!

SERVICE: First time we just walk in and they couldn't sit us for about 20min, each time telling to wait and do not leave. What could be easily solved by getting us on wait list with time approximation. Next time we decided to avoid trouble and booked few days in advance, just to realize that reservation actually not getting you a table We came on time and were asked to wait. Fine, no problems. After 30 min standing outside( because people were coming and leaving) we came in and asked about our table, confused hostess was trying to find reservation again, after she completed the task we were asked to wait.... Then they lead us to a table with strangers and only 2 free sits( we were party of 4)To cut the struggle I said that there are few free tables outside and we are fine to stay there, and finely were settled. The waitress brought us menus and we haven't seen her for the next 20 min... FOOD: the choice is not very wide, but there are some interesting options. Unfortunately not everything we tried there got a picture as it took time and few visits to write this review. Overall, food is good. AMBIANCE: modern interior design, big bar with variety of cocktails and draft beer. There are few areas inside : big tables ( be ready to sit at the same table with other people) , smaller tables and high tables. it can get pretty noisy inside.

Had eaten half before I remembered to take a picture. They do have online ordering (which I didn't use today but might speed up the line.) Today, I ordered the Turkey BLAT sandwich for $14, only to find one single slice of turkey on my sandwich. For a sandwich at that price point, this is completely unacceptable. Customers should expect reasonable portions and consistent quality, especially from an establishment like Tatte. It's disappointing because I genuinely used to enjoy visiting this location. Fortunately, I've had much better experiences at the One Loudoun location, which has now become my preferred Tatte. I hope management at the Reston location takes a closer look at food quality, portion sizes, and overall consistency. Tatte Reston has to do better, especially for loyal customers who have supported this location over the years.

The restaurant is located in a golf course clubhouse which was a surprise as the golf clientele didn't seem to match but we were wonderfully surprised to see brisk business as we enjoyed our breakfast. My wife had the breakfast bowl with longanisa which she also enjoyed. She doesn't like atchara but I ate it up and can say that it's not as vinegar-y as traditional but probably for the best as it would have probably overpowered everything else. I was super excited to try the ube waffles since I'm a fan of most ube flavored things. My husband got the more traditional silog bowl which I ended up liking more since I'm actually not big on breakfast food. The spam fries had a cute presentation with the canister but were extremely salty. Water and condiments were self serve.
