Quiet, intimate, classy, the bar is off to the back so you get a different vibe than the casino. The food is decent.

The service was not great took 10 mins to get a server I watched them play who is gonna pick up this table. The server we finally got wasnt happy to have us. Part of our food came out and went to the wrong table . The other part of the meal followed behind after a about 10 mins. I was told this was the go to late night place while at live.. when I got here there was one server/bartender but she was nice so I decided to be patient. When my food came it was served in a to go bag, again the waitress was very nice so I was like no big deal got a plate and moved on. Well I ordered an omelette the five star version for 14 dollars.. it sucked was very bland and just in general bad. Considering the atmosphere of the place I would expect much more. My advice if looking for breakfast is to find a Denny's or ihop. read more

We stayed at Live Hotel and expecting David's to be a great restaurant because it had like a 5 stars on top of it's name when you came in. We were immediately seated and I ordered a Penne Alfredo with Salmon which costs $28. Let me tell you that $28 wasn't worth it. We waited forever for our food to arrive, when it came, I was disappointed. My dish was like a cereal. It had so much milk!! It was as if I ordered a soup based pasta with all that milk. I then asked for more Parmesan cheese, it didn't help one bit lol The salmon that I ordered was dry and didn't even see a juice come out of it. Only reason why I'm giving this a 3 because the waitress who served us was super sweet although when I asked for water because I was dying of thirst, it took her awhile to come back to our table. I will probably give it another shot and order something else. read more

First, let me start with the positive. Nice decor and good cuisine. Very large portions. Free valet service. Was there Sunday at noon to celebrate my niece's birthday. A party of 14 ladies. 1. A mistake was made with the reservation by the staff. Instead of immediately apologizing and rectifying the situation, we had to wait an hour before we were seated. Approximately ten people in the restaurant. 2. Only one waitress for a party of 14. But she was very thorough and attentive. However, service was slow. 3. Bottomless mimosas in water glasses because they didn't have any flutes. In addition, the water bottle had a seafood smell. 4. Our time was extended because of the delay but we had to wait f-o-r-e-v-e-r for the check. No complimentary anything except dessert at Luckies. My cupcake was stale. 5. Would I return? My husband and I stayed at the hotel two nights returning home this morning. We live locally and enjoy all aspects of MD Live, including dinner at the Prime Rib which is always an exceptional experience! Also, Bobby's Burgers and casual dining at the bar in the high roller section. We've had breakfast at David's on several occasions and I unfortunately have to say that it is not up to par in comparison to the rest of the casino. Service is fine, but understaffed. This morning, for example, we were seated at 8:30am ordering immediately and didn't get breakfast until almost an hour later. Nothing complex, eggs, sausage and English muffins. There were only two tables in front of us so no excuse. We asked to talk to the manager, Hillary, at one point. She moseyed over to our table about fifteen minutes later, offering nothing but excuses, someone didn't show for work, etc. Sounds like more of an issue than that - kitchen related as well? It took another ten minutes to check out with her given our dissatisfaction. Not acceptable for a high end establishment, which we regard you as such, and we only bring this to your attention because you should know! Especially in light that it's name after the owner and his favorite meal. In the future, we will skip this aspect of our "Live" experience until things straighten out . In the meantime, we will head to the many other options in the shopping center~ Egg McMuffin and coffee possibly!~ read more

Do not book or reserve a large group here. They messed up the reservation and put it on the guests (us). Sat us down an hour after our booking then tried to make us leave early. It took an hour to be seated in an almost empty restaurant because they had no sense of urgency and moved super slow. Paige, the manager, was not helpful at all. I'm convinced that they had no care in the world for their customers. Zero customer service! Zero care in the world! The bad experience made it not worthwhile. read more

Wow what an experience. Party of 3 sit down and all begin to order drinks. Two of us wanted the blood orange IPA which they ran out of, okay not a big deal but things are just about to heat up. We order different drinks and the calamari appetizer. 10 mins go by and we finally get our drinks. Appetizer comes a couple minutes later and looks good at first sight. Turns out half the bowl had little balls of breading, imaging when you get a bag of frozen chicken nuggets and all that is left is the little crumbs of breading at the end, that is what we got. My wife ordered the Acai Relief which all I can compare it to watered down cough syrup, not sure how that one made list. Here we go folks, the most entertaining part of the night, we order our entries and after about 15 mins the waiter comes back out and informs my wife they are out of the clams. So instead of bringing a menu so she can re order he has to go get one. Five mins more pass and he finally comes back with the menu. All I can think is my sandwich and my brothers spaghetti have been sitting under the heating lamp this entire time. Finally our food comes and you guessed it my bottom slice of bread is soggy and his spaghetti cold. In the end we got the hell out of there as soon as possible which wasn't fast because the waiter took another 10 min after we were clearly done with our disgusting food, the whole 2 bites max. Finally we asked to split the bill in 2 which the waiter looked at us like we were speaking a different language. He mumbles out something about how he doesn't know how to do that and we just put it on one card to get the hell out. No manager comes and speaks with us about our meal and the waiter clearly didn't pick up on the heavy disgusted looks we had on our face. Good luck David, you will need it to survive read more

What a treat! We happened upon this restaurant after coming to the mall to explore. The Casino (in which it is housed) has several dining options. I'm so glad that we chose those place. My guess and I arrive there at about 10:45 PM on a Saturday. The staff were not helpful or service oriented. Our waitresses continued to be rotated and we're not knowledgeable if our drinks had been prepared or got them to us in a timely manner. The same happened with the food including giving me a bill before getting the meal, and did not realize that the meal had not been served. Once we got the meal the food was cold and dried out from being in a warmer. If the restaurant does not want to serve at that time even though they are located next to a 24/7 casino and hotelthey're in then they should not serve food or drinks read more

Tried the lollipop wings they were pretty good! Shrimp cocktail not so good and the "Cake on Cake" crab cake on top a a crab was the worst crab I have ever had! Look like they boiled it no seasoning and it was sour smelling. Spit the 1st bite out but wanted crab so bad I tried the other side also. Hope I don't get ill! Told the server it was a bad crab he went back to the cook and said it was just the way crabs smell.. Never had a good crab that smelled sour before.. Gave this place another try or two. Breakfast a few times was standard but bacon is pretty good. Service and time from ordering to getting food at table very slow, don't be in a hurry. Then went back when I had a lot of time, ordered the Giant Meatball ( 1 meatball ) and spaghetti, now that was very tasty. Whatever jar the sauce is from I would like to purchase! Monte the Bartender was very attentive but again it seemed like a long time for the dish to come out but worth the wait. He told me he would bring me out a dinner roll but when I asked for it after my dish arrived he told me they were out of them..‍. Lovely restaurant, albeit a little chilly. Staff is friendly and pleasant. The problem is the food. We ordered the calamari, cornbread, omelettes and the crab hash. The cornbread, served with honey butter and strawberry compote, was excellent. Light, fluffy, flavorful. The calimari arrived over cooked and drenched is Thai chili sauce. We expected tender rings, but received dry strips in a hard crust. Very disappointing. 30 minutes later our actual meal arrived. The food was hot, a plus, and was acceptable. Our omelettes were a little over cooked, but well seasoned, the chicken sausage was dry and flavorless, but the hash browns were crisp and tender. The crab hash was crowded into a small cast iron pan, and digging through to was a bit of a process. The servers, while nice, seemed not very well trained as they had to be asked to clear table of appetizer plates, did not offer coffee or dessert options and did not check our satisfaction with our meal. On the whole it was a rather disappointing meal to celebrate a birthday. read more

Restaurant was beautiful. We were seated by the hostess quickly. Once we had a table, the server took 10 minutes to get to us and say hi. They only had 15 people in the whole restaurant. Precious, our server, was not polite, took 20 minutes for drinks from the bar. Food was excellent. Precious came back to check on us but instead said man I'm jealous that looks so good. She kept reaching around over my family's food to give us drinks instead of walking around. She threw silverware on our placemat instead of setting it up on our left side. She kept looking at my mother funny and then asked what country is she from, my mom said America. There's a nice way to ask about guests cultures. She placed the credit card machine on our table and ran our card several times and after I told her ask a manager on how to work the machine, my husband figured it out. She never said thank you for dining with us or invited us to come back. I'm a food and beverage manager and I would never bring my family back here because of the service. read more

They could not do an Orange Crush or Chopped Steak(on menu but out)....Tequila/Habenero drink was excellent....Corn bread $10.....very small. Long wait for food and service. Oysters overcooked and so coated that you could not taste then.....someone dropped 2 crunch up papers in the main aisle and we watched all the help look down, step around and walkover and we old people were laughing that no one could bend and pick it up, as it was making the place look sloppy and then this young lady cane by with a big smile, picked it up and took it away. I was really excited about having another sit down restaurant at Live. My first few experiences were amazing. I have nothing but positive feedback for the meals early mornings and various times on the weekend. Unfortunately, Wednesday evenings are horrible. Service is slow at best. The food is never consistent. Hospitality is nonexistent. I truly want to like this restaurant. It is convenient and the menu has a wonderful variety. However after countless failed attempts, I can no longer write poor quality as an "off night". Tonight was the last straw. My party of 3 (plus a baby) waited 90 minutes for 2 burgers & chicken and waffles. My husband's food was cold and hard while the burgers were WELL DONE instead of medium and missing toppings. We opted to keep the burgers instead of potentially waiting another 90 minutes & sent the cold food back. It took anotherm 25 minutes to replace my husband's food and bring the missing toppings for the burger. Meanwhile, we sat there astonished as the manager replaced another table's wrong temp burgers 3 times without even offering an apology or any form of customer service skills. Eventually, the manager brings the replacement meal haphazardly put together and only slightly warmer than the first as we are asking for the check to cut our losses and leave. His one managerial act... to comp my husband's meal as he makes a swift exit to stand by the host stand texting. I have done everything to make this restaurant live up to my first few experiences but it is becoming as lackadaisical as all the other food vendors at Maryland Live. I have even left a comment 3 weeks ago directly to Maryland Live and surprise, surprise...no response. Hopefully, something changes for thise that will still patronize their establishment. read more

Not sure how to even begin this review...I came to the DMV for a graduation, while there I wanted to celebrate a friend's birthday, I only had a limited amount of time because this was a short visit, I decided on a day of slots play and a nice meal at Live Casio, because it's close to BWI airport. It's early morning so I thought breakfast would be a good meal, and was told that David's was the place to go. We were surprised by the décor it's pretty upscale for a breakfast place. We were seated in a nice area and this is when the experience began to go sideways! The wait person came up to take our order, she had a serious scowl on her face, perhaps she's not a morning person, her greeting was not hospitable to say the least, (perhaps she was having a bad day not sure) in a very matter of fact way she attempted to make our dining experience one of the worst I'd ever had, her temperament was half a degree away from being downright rude, and I'm positive I had nothing to do with how she felt! We placed our order, which included coffee, and water to begin...it took 10 mins to get the coffee, there were no spoons with the flatware that was on the table and we were never offered any and the water never arrived. The breakfast came after another 20 minutes or so and to my surprise I was delivered this huge plate of pancakes which I did not order, when I told her I didn't order pancakes instead of offering an apology and perhaps an offer to correct the order, this waitress proceed to tell me that "I had ordered the buttermilk pancakes" checking her writing pad as if it would confirm that I had, well I know I didn't nor would I ever have ordered any style of pancakes because I despise pancakes in any form! So here I'm sitting with no meal, except an order of bacon that was delivered to me in error from the waitress serving another section, I was told by the couple sitting next to us that they had ordered the bacon. So, I'm still waiting for a water, I had to ask to have my coffee freshened, and rather than creating more confusion I simply asked for the check! Well not over yet the total bill came to $27 not a problem, however, I placed $40 in with the check the waitress picked it up and never returned to the table so in essence she gave herself a 49% tip, which I would have never given her considering her absolute discourteous manners...but once again I wanted to avoid anything that would bring my day down any further, my friend and I left the restaurant...since neither of us live in the area we will probably never visit that establishment again anyway! However, I hope this was a one-time occurrence, because David's actually seems to be a very nice place! read more

For a place that specializes in breakfast, the omelets were nothing special. My husband ordered hollandaise sauce on the side, and there was something off about it. Service for breakfast was just ok. We had drinks later at the bar, and the service there was just sad. The bartender kept forgetting about us because tjwy were watching The Bachelor and Temptation Island. When she finally bought the check, she got a little surly when she saw the amount of her tip. There was also a group of 5 and sometimes 6 wait staff hanging around the hostess stand carrying on. It was very unprofessional. Service personnel either need better training or just to try harder. read more

We ate dinner here last night and the food was good but the service was terrible. We waited a long time before anyone greeted our table, and even longer to actually get drinks and food. It appeared the host was also being used as the bus boy, and sometimes a waiter. We had four adults having a drink with dinner. When we asked for two cold glasses for our beers, we were given room temperature, small juice glasses. Then two wine glasses had to be returned because they were dirty. We sat next to three tables that were never cleared in the two hours we were there - while we overheard guests being told there were no tables available. Our dinners were brought out without any silverware, and we then had to wait for that! Extremely slow service all around, it was clear they are VERY understaffed. read more
