This was the closest place to us for a seafood boil, and I'm so glad we decided to give it a try because this place definitely did not miss The prices are insanely good for how much food you get, and the flavor was fire. Everything was seasoned really well. The only thing I wasn't a huge fan of was the sausage. I feel like they could use a better-quality sausage, but other than that, everything was great. The service was quick, and the workers were definitely a vibe. Overall, a great spot for a seafood boil, especially if you're looking for good portions and good prices. Definitely recommend read more

This is a nice spot between the mall and casino. It was pretty busy when we showed up but tip is to check the bar, which is open seating. The hostess was nice enough to let us know when bar seating was open. So that was pretty cool. Also, they have a huge screen that was showing a FIFA game. So if you're a FIFA fan this is a great place to have good food and full bar of drinks. Whatever broil dish you get, I recommend the Boom sauce with medium spices. It goes great with all the seafood dishes they offer. read more

Went here on a non rush day. Service was friendly and efficient. Nice spot to stop in if you are in the mall and in the mood for some seafood. I ordered the crabmeat fries. There's definitely plenty of crab meat on these fries along with the cheese sauce. Can almost get crabmeat in almost every bite. Fries are crisped just right. Also ordered some Cajun wings. Just a little too bread for me. Overall taste is good with a nice crunch. read more

Crafty Crab Hanover is conveniently located right in the food court area of Arundel Mills Mall, making it an easy stop during a shopping trip. We ordered the crabcakes, which came with two cakes. The crabcakes themselves were tasty, and I really liked the sauce that came with them. Fries were nice and crispy too. We also got half a dozen oysters for $13.99, but unfortunately they didn't seem very fresh, which was a little disappointing. They offer a solid happy hour Monday through Friday from 4 to 7 PM with drink specials. Our server, Isiah, was absolutely wonderful. He was knowledgeable about the menu, and very patient while we asked questions. Service was definitely 100%. The ambience has a nautical theme, with plenty of seating including a bar area and even some outdoor seating. read more

It was delicious and the atmosphere was clean it was moderately busy doing the time that we went. The service was pretty good I don't really have any complaints. It was my first time there I think I would definitely be going back read more

Party of 3 on Friday evening at 5, thankfully not super crowded. Server was excellent (may be Krystin), very attentive, came to our table immediately. Placed our order which came out quickly. Drinks have been great in the past, had bottled and beer on tap today. Food never disappoints, seafood boil is always great, fried catfish gives you a very large serving and it's excellent. Located in Arundel Mills directly across from Live! Ambiance is very casual, come as you are and bring the little ones, a family friendly place. They have several large tables in the restaurant and some tables in the mall area if you want to be kind of patio like but inside lol! They also have a mega TV in the bar area if that is your vibe. Casual date night or family night, this is a great spot. read more

I have been to Crafty Crab in Hanover multiple times, and Dwight has been my server on several occasions. He always provides top-tier service and makes sure my family and I are well taken care of, checking in to make sure our food and experience are perfect. Great seafood at an affordable price. We ordered a large seafood platter that included Snow Crab, Whole Shrimp, Crawfish, Mussels, Clams, Corn, and Potatoes. The portion was big enough for at least three people. What I liked most was the option that the sauce was on the side per my request. Everything was fresh and tasty enough without the sauce! There were several different sauces available, I ordered buttery garlic which was great! We also ordered chicken salad and broccoli. The chicken was fried for the salad, i wish they were grilled. The service was pleasant and efficient. There were more groups and families at each table. The big portions were easy for sharing. I like the food very much and I'll return! read more

The waiter was terrible, he only came to the table 3 times. To take our order, to drop off the food, and to drop off our check. He treated every other table with dignity and made light conversation with every table around us. He treated us as if we were a burden to him. Then as we paid, he "accidentally" charged me for someone else's order of $140, while my bill was $62. It took two days for the incorrect amount to be returned to me. The manager never came to our table to explain the situation, nor was anything done for the inconvenience. We also only got one piece of corn when it says it comes with 3, but by the time he came over again, we had already finished eating. Server was Delasio according to the receipt. Horrible experience. read more

Whenever I'm in town I always try to stop by crafty crab. It's just a nice seafood establishment without all the bells and whistles. The staff here will give you recommendations depending on what you're looking for. Although it's located in the mall food court, it still feels like a standalone restaurant. You can easily sit in a booth or regular chairs at the table. I highly recommend the fried shrimp basket if you're a fan on shrimp. I always get an order with cocktail sauce and tarter in the side. read more

"GO AT YOUR OWN RISK" I want to start by saying I used to eat here all of the time and the food and the service is usually good. Also this time I drove 1 hour because I worked a 12hr shift had a taste for a seafood boil. I ordered 1lb of snow crabs When I ate the food everything in the bag was extremely over cooked and mushy (including the crab legs, potatoes and corn) and on top of that There was no butter in the bag. (I spent $45 on the food)When I brought the issue up to the manager they offered to replace the food if I came back(please keep in mind I drove 1 hr away and I just gotten off of a 12 hr shift) and the food was not right and I as a customer I was extremely inconvenienced and the owner didn't seem to care about my experience. After I explained to her that I couldn't come back. She offered me free potatoes lol I explained that was not reasonable compensation especially for the amount of money spent. So I requested a refund and this location does not offer refunds at all. The best they could do is offer 10% off of my next order. I then explained that I will not be coming back to crafty crab because the policy's are terrible. I don't blame the manager I blame the owner for not taking accountability especially since I was so inconvenienced. Sadly I will be looking for a new crab shack to frequent. read more

Food: the food was amazing! I got the seafood boil with a half pound of crawfish and a half pound of headless shrimp with buttery garlic and medium heat. It came with potatoes and corn and it was the perfect amount of food! I'm not stuffed, but I'm not hungry either. Service: pretty good with some mild hiccups with allergies. I brought a list of my allergies to come prepared but they said they used green bean oil. I looked it up, and that doesn't even exist and I questioned it. They insisted it was green bean oil, then the manager brought me a picture of the oil and it was canola. Other than that, it went well! Cost: The food was a great deal, to the point where we can come much more often than we thought. We had 5 people and our bill was $83 (pre tip). My seafood boil was only $18.99. read more

Today, 02/27/26 at approximately 10:00 PM, my family and I were declined seating and told that the restaurant was only offering takeout. However, the restaurant's posted hours indicate that it closes at 11:00 PM on Saturdays. It appeared that the decision not to seat guests was made to close early, which I find unacceptable. I would like to speak with someone regarding this matter to understand whether this is standard practice. Please advise on who I may contact to discuss this further. read more

First things first, the waitress was perfect she was smart and knew the menu. So when I ordered gumbo she let me know that their gumbo was a little different than what I was used to. Big kudos. I had a very disappointing experience at Crafty Crab. I came here with my family for a seafood boil, and right from the start, several items that were supposed to come with our table order were missing. While I was eating, I found a long piece of hair stuck to the crab. I immediately called our waitress, JAI and showed it to her. Instead of apologizing or handling the situation professionally she said, "Oh no, that's just the shrimp," even though it was clearly hair. I removed the hair myself and placed it on a plate. She then snatched the seafood boil bag off the table and walked away to the back without explaining what would happen next or giving us any guidance. At that point, I no longer felt comfortable eating. She did not return for about 30 minutes, and we were left confused about what we were supposed to do. I eventually asked another waitress for help, who said she would contact our assigned waitress. We waited another 15 minutes with no response. Finally, I asked for a manager. When the manager came over they brought the bill, which I paid for the seafood. After that, the waitress came back to the table and I told her that she should have at least communicated with us about what was going on. She responded angrily and said, "I ain't arguing with you." The lack of hygiene, poor communication, and unprofessional attitude completely ruined our experience. I would not recommend this location to anyone. read more

I was craving steamed seafood. I decided to try the Crafy Crab in Hanover. The Crafty Crab is located across from the Cheesecake Factory at Arundel Mills. This location offers a full bar with patio seating. The staff were good. I ordered a steam bag with shrimp, crawfish, and snow crab. Of course, you can add sausage, boiled eggs, corn, and potato to your bag. I had the cajun and garlic sauce added to my bag. Everything was great. The seafood was fantastic. It did not taste frozen, and the cajun and garlic seasoning flavored the meal nicely. I would definitely visit this location again. read more

The Only Review You Need To Read We finally decided to check this place out. My funny little honey ordered a half dozen raw oysters (eww - none for me, thanks) and the snow crab special, and I stuck with an old reliable - fried shrimp basket with good ol' french fries. Everything was delicious, our server was great and always around and the ambiance was nice - with the exception of a table full of kids next to us who were not only singing along to "Call Me Maybe" by Carly Rae Jepson playing on the jukebox, but were getting the words wrong! It's NOT "so here's my number so call me baby"). So why not a perfect five star rating? Don't get me wrong - you'll enjoy the food. But the sausage in the seafood boil had a few pieces that were too hard to chew, and our server didn't bring us bibs (perhaps they had to be by request). But we will be back because there were several other items on the menu that looked good; plus there's the mall there and you'll need to walk off your food afterwards because you will leave full and happy. read more

Went to the crafty crab to celebrate our Sorority Sister coming to Maryland from Florida. We received our boil pots with scant amount of boom sauce to cover the seafood in our bags. The sauce looked like it was shaken on our food like pepper. We spoke with the manager to see why this occurred and was told by Nora the manager that the amount of sauce was warranted by the amount of seafood in our bags per pound. We asked to pay for extra boom sauce, and no sauce was brought to our tables after 10 minutes. Our waitress went in the back and brought out 1 side boom sauce for 6 people. We were told that's all the sauce we were getting even when asking to pay for it. Don't frequent this location Nora has very poor customer service skills, and she needs training in conflict resolution to meet the needs of her patrons read more

This 5 star moment is solely for Charles and his stellar customer service! This past weekend while Holiday shopping we stopped at this location for a quick bite and drinks. Due to the holiday traffic the restaurant was moving a lot slower than previous experiences. When we expressed that we still hadn't been assisted after 10+ mins of being seated, he quickly jumped in to aide the server for our section. He even went above taking our order with drink recommendations and friendly conversation to redirect the tone of our night! His follow up even after our server became available was top tier! With his help, we enjoyed our food and beverages plus we still made it to our movie on time! Thanks again Charles! Regarding the restaurant in general, it is our go to location for seafood boils as they are constantly delicious. The drinks are worth the price and the vibe is pretty chill as the location is tucked in a corner of the food court. I would give it a solid 4 star on the average visit. read more

I'm giving this restaurant three (3) stars because my son loves it and wants to celebrate his birthday here. Also, our waitress (Cee) was outstanding. However, I wasn't impressed with the food. I ordered the King Crab with potatoes, corn, and sausage. Side note: The link didn't taste like Andouille sausage. I selected "The Bomb Sauce," a combo of all the sauces. It was a salty hot mess and far from "The Bomb." I was disappointed because I'm a seafood lover and expected a better experience. My son enjoyed his seafood boil and octopus appetizer. He did state the draft beer was a little flat. Also, the Hush Puppies we shared were good. While this wouldn't be my choice for a seafood restaurant, it might be someone else's. If you go here, ask for Cee. Her customer service is top-notch! read more

Visited this place while attending a conference. Being from Cali we're skeptical about fresh seafood in other places, but given the location decided to give it a try. I'm so glad we did! I had the crab cake sandwhich and was blown away! It was perfectly seasoned, moist and sitting on a bun as soft as an expensive pillow. I followed it with a slice of cake and was sent into a beautiful food coma. I don't recall what everyone else ordered, but I do recall the smiles on their faces! The experience topper was the customer service. If ever I touch back down near here I'll gladly come back and would absolutely recommend it. read more

The seafood boil was pretty solid. I'd recommend getting the snow crab daily special to start and if it's not enough, ordering a separate bag of mussels or any of the other options is a great idea too. My 2 kids and I went to this location on Sunday November 16th 2025, around 4:00 pm for dinner. I wanted the table outside so it will be convenient bc of our stroller and shopping bags, host sat us on the table we wanted. We sat for 30 minutes and nobody came over, not even to say hello and or take drinks or even greet us to say something. Servers kept coming to the 8 people table that was next to us, he kept coming back and forth and just looking at us like nothing else is going on. After waiting more than 30 minutes, we left. I would make sure to mention this on a google review as well. Have to retrain your people, just because a guy with 2 toddlers show up, doesn't mean I would not get any service. Very disappointed read more

I tried the fried shrimp with fries and buffalo wings. The wings were fine but the shrimp and fries were very bland with no salt or pepper on the table to help. And while the server was very personable and friendly, he disappeared for long stretches so I didn't have the opportunity to request any. I found myself rationing my drink because I had no idea when I'd see him again. Another issue was the wings were served with my dinner and I requested them as an appetizer. I felt like I had to choose which food I wanted to eat while it was still hot. I may try this place again for one of their steamed or boiled dishes where I can pick the level of spice but I'm not wasting time on the fried platters where I didn't see that option. read more

Delicious. First seafood boil and it was remarkable. Great service and the ambiance was spectacular.

came on Sunday around 5pm and it was crowded, but our wait time was 15 minutes. We got seated once I received the text. I was so excited, it was cold, and we got seated right under the heater. Our waiter Kita (I hope this is spelled correctly if not, please excuse me) Was wonderful she gave us the best recommendations for food and drinks. She made this experience great. We ordered: Octopus with boom sauce Cajun wings Green mussels special Crab meat fries Drinks Apple martini Black Cherry limeade Love on the beach Double berry I recommend buying the Cajun lemon pepper wings and order the boom sauce on the side fire hot. The drinks were great, especially the black cherry limeade, love kn the beach and double cherry. The crabs were not crabing for me, so that was a miss, plus the crab meat fries. For that price I was expecting more meat, but I know not with this economy. This would be a great place to come to hang out. The music was great and loud, so be ready to speak up. read more
