I overall had a good first visit here! The Dungeness crab legs were the biggest I think Ive ever had, the seafood was also very fresh! The catfish was delicious and the wings were pretty solid! Our waiter Alice was awesome, very attentive and helpful during our visit. The restaurant is very spacious! Huge bar area and lots of seating for large parties. I wasn't a huge fan of the boom sauce in the boils, it didn't have a lot of flavor to me for it to be all the seasonings mixed together. I would however try another sauce by itself to see how I feel about it like lemon pepper or garlic butter. I also wasn't a big fan of the cocktail I tried. If I could give the restaurant 0 stars, I would. We attended this restaurant for our niece's birthday. London our server was attentive and sweet. We appreciate her. Travis was helpful in checking in with us as well periodically as my drink was poorly made. The bartender 0/10. She took way too long to make drinks and they came out terrible. I do not think people with minimal experience at the bar should be working a Saturday night. Our food came out quick, no complaints. I had fish and coleslaw. The coleslaw tasted old. My sister got a grilled chicken salad and the salad tasted as if it was unwashed and not prepped properly. We saw a server itch her wig and then never go wash her hands after. The bathroom was unkept and messy. One major thing I'm not a fan of at any local restaurant is staff that only focuses on who they choose or only on "regulars" at the bar. We wrapped our night up and closed our tab at our table but wanted another shot for us and the birthday person. We went up to the bar. The bartender looked in my face multiple times and never acknowledged any of us but continued to acknowledge others. She even left from behind the bar multiple times. We ended up just leaving. She easily missed out on money for the restaurant and a good tip. Customers at the bar must be regulars as the two on the end were rude for absolutely no reason. The atmosphere is certainly not welcoming. The DJ went all over the place with the music and seemed like he cared more about taking shots with the ladies at The bar vs actually DJ-ing. He was only matching songs up by the BPM and not really keeping the crowd's attention. Unfortunately I'd never recommend this place to anyone nor would I ever return. This was an absolutely TERRIBLE experience for a place that could increase their potential which could lead to more revenue IF THEY REVAMPED THEIR STAFF TRAINED THEM PROPERLY. I finally found a seafood spot that doesn't feel like I'm on Captain Hooks ship. Not just crab is very trendy and the food is bomb. Sundays are the best days to go to watch sports, jam with the Dj, enjoy a free shot (when the ravens score a touchdown), 1/2 price cocktails, and eat as much as you can handle. My first time here was Friday for Karaoke. When I first walked in the decor caught my eye. It's a cool atmosphere for hanging out with friends or family. There's a bar and lots of table seating. The service was not great, but it's COVID it's understandable. For food, I ordered the Fried Catfish. It had a good flavor, but the outside was a bit too bready for me. However, that's preference. I also ordered the half pound of shrimp ($6 for Haply Hour). I chose the Boom sauce and got them at level 2 spicy. The shrimp were cooked perfectly (peeled nicely) and the sauce was awesome. They do not come with onions, so I added those on ($2 upcharge). I would absolutely come back for these. The drinks were not great. The margaritas were watered down. I also ordered a shot of Jameson and a Jameson/Ginger. For some reason, when the bill came, we were charged an extra $2 for the Jameson neat. The waitress asked the manager who took it off, but never gave an explanation to why a shot would be more than a Jameson with Ginger Ale. I think I would stick with carry out here. I thought it was a carryout joint, but it is a sit-down restaurant that does carry out. This is not a Maryland crab house; they are a Cajon inspired seafood restaurant. They have Dungeonous and Snow Crabs and oysters, shrimp, crawfish, and mussels. I had snow crab legs with butter garlic sauce. The order came.with a couple of baby red potatoes and corn on the cob. 2'2021 This place has been on my radar for some time. It seems these type of restaurants are going up everywhere but it's not everywhere that I get a recommendation and I received 2 for this one! I called to see if they had curbside because I had no interest in putting on clothes and they do have it but they also had an hour wait. The presentation was so good that my family members that already ate for the evening started eating my food. They're very picky and they loved my food! I loved my food as well. The catfish were so big, I had to split up in 3 sittings. My 1st sitting ahead 2 pieces of catfish and a 3rd of onion rings with ketchup, cocktail sauce, and Tabasco sauce. So good!
