We made a reservation for Saturday night at 8:30 PM, which was perfect because we didn't have to wait. As soon as we walked in, we gave the hostess our name and were immediately seated. The hostess was so lively, vibrant, and welcoming, and our waitress was fantastic as well. Unfortunately, I forgot her name, but she provided great service throughout our meal. You could tell the staff worked well together and genuinely enjoyed what they were doing. We ordered the Steak Nina, Crab & Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo, and Hot Crab Dip. The entrées come with a side, so I paired my Alfredo with a Caesar salad, while the Steak Nina came with a loaded baked potato. We also had the strawberry lemonade and sweet tea, and both were delicious and refreshing. They also offer free refills, which is always a plus. The food was PHENOMENAL. Everything came out piping hot and full of flavor. The Steak Nina was incredibly tender and literally melted in your mouth. The seafood tasted fresh, and the Alfredo was loaded with crab and shrimp and had PLENTY of sauce. Normally, I have to ask for extra Alfredo sauce on the side, but not here! You could taste all the layers of seasoning and garlic throughout the sauce. The Caesar salad was delicious too. Crisp lettuce, flavorful Caesar dressing, and fresh croutons. And the Hot Crab Dip was the perfect starter. It was served piping hot, creamy, flavorful, and so good that we practically scraped the bowl clean! The atmosphere was lively and energetic. Just be prepared for it to be LOUD because this place has a vibe! The tables are a little close together, and the bar area stayed packed the entire time. It definitely seemed like the bar was where the party was happening! There were so many things on the menu that I wanted to try, so I already know I need to come back. A few things to keep in mind: parking is street parking only, gratuity is included in the check, and they accept major credit cards and cash. The prices were also very reasonable for the amount and quality of food you receive. With everything we ordered, including the tip, our bill was under $200. Honestly, I expected it to be more considering all the fresh seafood we ordered, so that was a pleasant surprise. Angie's is DEFINITELY a must-visit if you're in the Baltimore area. Do not leave Baltimore without trying this place! She said she needed to close and lock up the patio. We told her there was no sign posted saying the patio closed early and asked how we were supposed to know. She dismissed our concern and casually replied, "Well, I guess I can put one up." I believe the owner's name was Nancy, but one of the workers inside told us her name was Eve. That interaction took away from what had started as a great meal. We had traveled about 40 minutes by Uber, spent over $100, and explained that this was our first visit to Baltimore and the first stop on our itinerary. Every time I go, there is someone getting their cream of crab soup, and a few times the truck has sold out; must be good, so I'll have to try that next time. Other popular items include their crab fries. They also usually have some jarred dessert, like crème brûlée or key lime pie. I finally broke down and tried their crème brûlée and it was pretty solid! For $5, it's worth it. The folks there are friendly and work fast to get you your food. Prices are definitely reasonable. Check these guys out sometime.
