Crab Meat & Scallops Fried Rice
Paolo R.

Brand new location opened up in the middle of Foundry Row. I am a big fan of the whole center of shops and restaurants that reside in downtown Owings Mills. I was in the mood for a crab and seafood dinner and Yardkoo delivered and exceeded my expectations. Would return, would recommend to any seeking a fun and high quality meal for a reasonable price and service. I will most definitely be back and sampling the rest of the menu. I wish I took more pictures of the inside of the restaurant because it was clean and modern and very natural and well lit.

I wanted some Seafood so me and my Family came here. I heard about this place from a friend that frequents this place. This was previously another Seafood Restaurant, they are under new Management. It has a casual relaxed atmosphere, a little upscale from the previous place. We ordered several Appetizers and everyone ordered Seafood Boils. The Seafood Boils are on a Hot Plate and not in a plastic bag like other places I've been to. The food didn't take long either. Everything was hot, fresh and delicious. Our Server was polite and attentive. I will be back.

This is the old rock and tossed crab house. They did a little reconfiguration. I enjoyed my time here. The drinks were great. The food was good. We just wish the waitress was a little bit more attentive to what we needed from her prices are fair and I would return again. Thus crab and scallop fried rice is definitely a must try for anyone in the RT noodles looked good however the sausage and it was pork and I don't eat pork so I didn't try them, but they did look good.

If I could give this more than five stars, I definitely would. The seafood here is very fresh and very flavorful. I love the fact that it comes from a hot plate. The orange chicken was delicious. The oysters were fresh and I really enjoyed the drinks. The customer service is great and I love the overall environment.

Stephanie was the best hostess! Very attentive and kind. The food came out quickly. I had the crab Rangoon, the crab toast which was superb and the yard noodles. It basically was a seafood boil with ramen in it. The sauce I had was the yard mix which included lemon pepper, Cajun butter and the yard flavor . It was a little salty but the flavor overall was good. I think next time I'll get a single flavor instead of mixing. The ambience sure is alluring. It gives off a boho look. I definitely will be back!!

I came after seeing salmon bites and realized they are only on happy hour menu I think? I went with the fried shrimp and Cajun fries. I visited mid day and there wasn't a crowd. The shrimp were hot, fresh and jumbo. These are the type of fried shrimp that go well with a sauce as the batter they fry the shrimp in isn't heavily seasoned. I'll return to try some other items.

Food and service are excellent. I've been twice Joe for lunch. The service is very nice and the food is delicious.

I like this spot. I rolled up in here solo for some crabcakes. They advertised lump crab meat in their cakes. The bar is pretty high in Baltimore fore crab cakes. There was some filler and the flavor was okay. Not horrible, but not a sure fire crab cake that you'd get from some other notable places around Baltimore. I'd give the cakes 2.5/5 stars. My salad and sweet potato fries were delicious. The decor and atmosphere were nice. I will definitely try them out again. They have quite a few items on their menu that I'd like to try. I would recommend.

Good food, service, and ambiance! They bring your food out on a tray with burners so your sea food butter salt doesn't melt quickly. Loved it!

So I had their seafood boil, and presentation was on point. The crabs were ok did seem too fresh. The shrimp, mussels and flavor were ok in my opinion as well. The potatoes tastes ok nothing special. Same with the eggs and corn. Overall an average meal, the sauce was ok too. I think the because its wasnt in a plastic bag it was a little harder to spread the seasoning around. Ambiance was great the decor inside the resturant is really good. For the drinks you get a good amount for the price. Service was average nothing too crazy. Overall had a good time if you are in the area you can check it out cause they have other stuff on the menu, as I only had the seafood boil.

It's a Sunday night, dinner time, busy but no wait. Took a few minutes but got the drinks. Skipped appetizers and got straight to dinner. Kids cheese burger was truly on point and for $10 the best deal. Kids fried shrimp not bad. Wife's "fresh caught salmon" was ok, nothing special. My fish and chips...imo a disaster...breading to cod ratio was about 3:1...meaning so much batter, hardly any fish, it was a turn off. Maybe the original location is the hidden gem, but the other options in this shopping center I'd consider before dining here. Reminds me of like an upscale red lobster...but none of the delicious cheddar biscuits! I don't know, maybe we hit it at an off night, but it wasn't good nor the prices charged in relation.

This was the best I've ever had! All excellent! My companions had the shrimp potato skins- huge and scrumptious, grilled cheese with crab, fish & chips. Portions are very generous. We all got to go containers. Service- exceptional. We were there at 2 pm, so not a rush time. Our waitress was friendly, just the right amount of attentiveness. She even laughed at my jokes :) The layout was nice, giving space between tables and even some private booths available. We didn't feel crowded and could enjoy conversation.

She said she wanted crawfish and calamari so I did a quick Google search of something local that had decent reviews. We ordered a pound of King crab and 2lbs of crawfish and 2 boiled eggs in our boil. The king crab was $78 a pound (must be fire right?!) NO! It was overcooked and salty. The crawfish tails were about a nickel to quarter size. Looks like the pack you get for 999 frozen at Wegmans but they are priced for $1699 a pound here. No eggs but they have two extra potatoes. No one spoke when we walked inside although there is a stand at the door.. I had to speak first to ask if we get sat or seat ourselves... Our server barely spoke... didn't give us a name.. we first ordered the garlic bread which came out dark, brown, burnt and hard with a dipping sauce of liquid garlic butter... Not what I expected so I sent it back. She pretty much stayed away from the table the entire time. I ordered a drink as well... I heard the drinks were good here, but this was not the case tonight. I spent $195 on food we didn't eat, but I did not feel like going back-and-forth with the server considering she was already absent so I just took it as a loss paid my tab and now I'm writing a review instead. Safe to say I will not be going back. I truly hope other people read this review and decide to go somewhere else unless you like to complain. For the price this experience is laughable but not in a funny, more of a laugh so you don't cry type of way... Like literally I feel like this whole night was a joke, but it wasn't. It was a very expensive unpleasant unsatisfying meal with their mandatory 18% gratuity so

I lived in Boston previously and Thames's lobster roll is BETTER than any I had there. It's my default order, but explore their specials when they catch my eye. Their crab cakes are great as well; however, I reccomend getting other items here and crab cakes elsewhere if you're making multiple food stops in Bmore as there are equally good crab cakes at other places (Pappas, Faidleys, Nick's, Coco's etc.) but not equally good other dishes. I'm not an oyster guy, but they also have the best raw bar in town, and they have an in house dedicated pastry chef who makes desserts which are to die for if you save room.

This bar does not give any presentation or flair to their non alcoholic beverages. Pom and Circumstance was zesty and sweet . The Half Moon drink was nothing more than grapefruit juice with a cherry . I was expecting more presentation since it's literally a tonic. I would like to mention that the bar was slammed with guests and the tables were not getting their drinks on time. So, maybe it was a slippery Sunday night for the bar and my zero proof drinks lacked in pizazz. The watermelon salad was a wild card choice as Glenwoods does not have much fresh fruit on the menu. I wish it was not so chunky ... chunks of watermelon and tomato covered in a balsamic sauce and feta cheese. This salad pairs nicely with the arugula. The sides were hot and came out expeditiously. The burger was undercooked and the server offered to re-Fire a new burger. 5 out 10 night .
