I substitute the scallops with shrimp. i received a large bowl of fried rice, crab meat that was almost non-existent (maybe a teaspoonful), and maybe two-three chopped shrimp. So, mostly I just had fried rice. The price was $17.99. Meanwhile, my husband ordered a fried shrimp basket. He received eight medium/large fried shrimp and two pieces of corn. I can't remember the place that used to be here but it was the same type of seafood boil at Yardkoo. Wasn't too busy on a Saturday night so we didn't event need a reservation. There is plenty of shared parking in the other businesses in the area. This was a little different because they bring the meal out on a hot skillet that had a burning sterno under it, so be careful. I did learn the hard way when I touched it. The food was good. I had the small boil that comes with half a pound of crab legs, half a pound of headless shrimp, half a pound of sausage, potatoes, and corn. You can choose your flavor and level of spice. I went with garlic butter medium spicy. More than enough to fill me up with a little leftover. Service was good as well. A very festive atmosphere inside. Came with my husband and another couple. We order wings, ceviche, a boil and the fried flounder. EVERYTHING was very good! We wanted to try everything and I think our eyes were bigger than our bellies. Both couples left with leftovers. This was my first time coming to Yardkoo. We stopped in for lunch and were greeted upon entry. Our waiter sat us down with the menus and so it began! I ordered the crab redgoon as an appetizer, they were cooked with the perfect amount of crisp! I chose General Tso's chicken as my entree. It was also great, all ingredients tasted fresh! We also tried the grilled salmon salad, it was delish! As well as the 1lb of Snow Crab legs. I loved the presentation of all the food. Brand new location opened up in the middle of Foundry Row. I am a big fan of the whole center of shops and restaurants that reside in downtown Owings Mills. I was in the mood for a crab and seafood dinner and Yardkoo delivered and exceeded my expectations. Visited Yardkoo for the first time last week with no real expectations since there are so many seafood boil restaurants now but I must say I was impressed. The quality of the seafood for the price point was great! The restaurant is pretty small but they have a nice flow to service and seemed to manage it well. We didn't have a long wait when we arrived and the food came out quick but the small waiting area was packed by the time we were leaving so I would suggest trying it earlier rather than later. Now let's get into the food. We started with the Banging Salmon Bites and they were very delicious. Seasoned to perfection. I'm not the biggest fan of bang bang sauce and I was expecting the bites to come tossed in sauce but it was drizzled on top which I actually appreciated so I could control the amount of sauce on my bite. Next time I will ask for it on the side but I did really like it. The salmon was juicy and flavorful. For my entree I did the build your own combo with a pound of snow crab legs and 1/2 pound of headless shrimp. The combo comes with 1 corn and two potatoes and I added additional corn which was two more pieces. I had the yard mix sauce which is a combination of all of the sauces together and it was delicious. Not overly salty but actually flavorful. I did medium spice level I think next time I'll try the hot. The medium was not spicy enough for me. The seafood comes out on a hot sizzling plate which is a nice touch and actually helps keep the seafood warm longer. The drinks were also a really good price and pretty strong. Overall I really enjoyed the food will def be back to try some more menu options and maybe happy hour. Only deducted one star because our server was lacking a bit but not terrible. My friend made reservations and I'm glad she did because that line was incredibly long for those waiting to be seated. To me, that meant that it was a for sure sign that the food would be great! We had a very friendly server, another added plus. I'm a Charleston girlie so I was trying not to compare our seafoods and luckily I didn't have to... my boil was good, a little salty but delicious nonetheless. I had a mocktail that was equally tasty. This is for sure a spot that many celebrate their birthdays and other celebrations; we saw several. And to top it off, the staff does a whole production of singing "Happy Birthday" and they even offer a cheesecake slice to the birthday girl/boy! The R&B playing in the background forces you to dance and sing along as you eat (I loved that it reminded me of eating seafood with my family back home). First visit. They have happy hour 2-7 which is a plus. Not a lot to choose from though. I did get the banging salmon bites. They were cut up really small to my surprise. The flavor was good. Also got hush puppies which were good. We got there around 5:15 pm and were able to get the last available booth. The service is pretty good. When we were leaving around 7:30 pm there was a lot of ppl waiting so the earlier the better. Overall the restaurant is nice but on the small side if you plan to eat in. I wanted some Seafood so me and my Family came here. I heard about this place from a friend that frequents this place. This was previously another Seafood Restaurant, they are under new Management. It has a casual relaxed atmosphere, a little upscale from the previous place. We ordered several Appetizers and everyone ordered Seafood Boils. We just wish the waitress was a little bit more attentive to what we needed from her prices are fair and I would return again. This place is a dump! My family visited Yardkoo after my cousins graduation based on social media hype and unfortunately the experience didn't live up to our expectations. The restaurant wasn't busy whatsoever during the lunch hour, yet service was extremely slow and the staff was very cold and unfriendly. Our server accidentally swiped my aunts card three times and was barely apologetic about it. We were left to fend for ourselves and rarely had anyone check on us while dining. The shrimp were hot, fresh and jumbo. These are the type of fried shrimp that go well with a sauce as the batter they fry the shrimp in isn't heavily seasoned. I like this spot. I rolled up in here solo for some crabcakes. They advertised lump crab meat in their cakes. The bar is pretty high in Baltimore fore crab cakes. There was some filler and the flavor was okay. Not horrible, but not a sure fire crab cake that you'd get from some other notable places around Baltimore. I'd give the cakes 2.5/5 stars. My salad and sweet potato fries were delicious. The decor and atmosphere were nice. I will definitely try them out again. They have quite a few items on their menu that I'd like to try. I came here not expecting much, as I thought this was just Rock & Toss rebranding itself. I eventually realized that this was more of an elevated experience. The interior has a more upscale look. The menu looks to be more extensive, including more asian dishes. The waiter was very helpful and patient as I considered ordering from the asian side of the menu, but eventually thought against it. We got the seafood boil, but it didn't come in the bag as usual. The seafood came in a personalized carry-on tray with a fire to keep the food hot. The boil tasted the same as rock & toss did, which was solid. Overall, it was a decent experience. I'll definitely come back when I need my seafood boil fix. read more

Same with the eggs and corn. Overall an average meal, the sauce was ok too. I think the because its wasnt in a plastic bag it was a little harder to spread the seasoning around. Ambiance was great the decor inside the resturant is really good. For the drinks you get a good amount for the price. Service was average nothing too crazy. Went to dine in tonight at 10:15pm on Jan 17, 2026 & was told I couldn't be seated. The website says Yardkoo is opened until 11pm on Friday and Saturday. False Advertisement. Don't waste your time coming to this establishment unless you're inside an hour before the listing on line. Hopefully OJ's bar and grill will be better once they open. My husband and I ate dinner at Yardkoo about a week ago and the food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the seafood boil with the mild cajun seasoning, coleslaw, crab rangoon and the buffalo wings. Everything we ordered came out perfectly. In particular, the seafood was very high quality, and the coleslaw and buffalo sauce for the wings were homemade. The server was very attentive and friendly and the hostess (Sherry) treated us like we were rock stars. I highly recommend this restaurant for just a casual night out or to meet up with friends to watch a sporting event. There are many television screens placed throughout the restaurant for your entertainment. I highly recommend trying out Yardkoo Seafood & Grill. You will not be disappointed! read more
