Someone recommended this place to me. I ordered a dozen Large Females, they were very heavy and nicely seasoned. I will be returning. This is my third time here, I got a dozen large females. They were heavy but weren't seasoned very well, couldn't really taste much of that Old Bay Seasoning. My husband and I frequently get fries shrimp from here. I never tried the crabs. My husband told me the line is usually out the door for their crabs. I stepped in on a Saturday afternoon and found that was very true. I stood in line and then waited 20 minutes for my crab order. I chose the 3 doz small males for $46. Price not bad for that size. The crabs were small but delicious! Seasoned to perfection and very tasty! Corn on the Cobb was also available for purchase. I had a crab and cocktail event and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The crabs we picked up were inconsistent in flavor. Crabs that were at the top of the bag were very good but they got smaller & smaller as we ate to the bottom. This is a very common con. We ordered Memorial Day crabs here yesterday and they were great. Perfectly seasoned, very great tasting. The extra large crabs were actually extra large and the large crabs were actually large as well. Both sizes were packed with meat, there was not a single paper shell crab. Delicious crab dishes! Prices are great and the crabs look fresh. Their crab cakes are meaty and taste great! I didn't find the staff to be very helpful though. I placed an order at Liberty Crab on 8/8/20 @ 6:29 pm. The girl on the phone said 20 minutes. Cool. It takes me 20 minutes to get there. I get there 30-35 minutes later. I pay and the guy says 6 minutes. 7 minutes later he is like 15 more minutes. I am like what why? 15 minutes just 15 minutes. So 15 minutes goes by. I say is my order ready? Like he 15 minutes again. I say for what? It's been almost a hour. Now he is like 2 minutes. It doesn't take a hour to steam crabs. At this point it's 8 pm and I'm still waiting for crabs that was ordered at 6:29. Finally get the crabs and they were sitting on the table the whole time. I get them home and they were full of water. I was so disappointed 60$ crabs gone to waste. Never again read more
