Paid over $20 for THIS . Service was TRASH . If you see a bad review concerning the service, I would advise you to listen to it. Seating is limited, they don't have a rest room, it's more of a door dash kind of place. Overall, terrible experience and you can see why it took 15 minutes to make this... Please just eat elsewhere and get your moneys worth.

I was going to order but honestly it's looks like a Chinese restaurant. I don't spend money places that don't put effort into their appearance. People put businesses in black neighborhoods and don't pay attention to upkeep so no I will not support this business. I asked how long have they been open, she told me 2 months.. this does not look like a new store. Only spend money places that appreciates you.

So it cost me $10-15 to for a plastic takeout container. Had I not looked at the customer copy of the bill I would have not only not known but I would have tipped based on the total which already included the additional gratuity charge (which was not disclosed on the merchant copy). This is so unnecessary and ruined what would have been a good experience. They said it was a "sharing charge" which I have experienced and applies when u have another diner with you and u decide to split an entree. Had they disclosed I would at least had the option to finish the meal. The saying "stepping over dollars to pick up pennies " seems to apply as this left such a bad taste I doubt I will return despite the fact the crab cake was delicious and the loaded baked potato was average (hardly loaded) Beware of the hidden gratuity for take home leftovers!!! Update to above: I did follow up with Angie this morning and she was very kind and offered to credit back my card for the extra gratuity. She also explained that I was misled about the "sharing charge" but they do automatically add 15% gratuity regardless of party size or quality of service. So I would give 4 stars for the food quality and 1 star for the way in which they present and charge gratuity. Tipping should remain at the discretion of the diner based on service and food quality otherwise just get rid of tipping and raise your prices

I absolutely loved it, from the prompt service to the ambience to the local, delicious food, we had such a lovely dinner. I came for oysters and I got them. First we had a dozen raw oysters from the True Chesapeake farm, which were so fresh and flavorful. My favorite hands down was the Chunky Dunker oyster, gigantic and meaty. Then we had broiled oysters, you know, for some variety! They were fantastic. Dinner was fabulous, I had the scallops and my husband had the fish. We ate every single bite, and all but licked the plates clean. To finish, we had dessert cocktails - the Grasshopper tastes like an Andes mint - and we happily headed home with full bellies. I can't wait to come back and try more of the local seafood on offer!

The apps were incredible. I absolutely loved the beet salad, steak tartare and the handmade spaghetti with clams. You can't go wrong with the brisket meal or their sides - whether it's the grilled chicken or the CAULIFLOWER. GET IT! The oysters were hyper local. Good but not the greatest as I prefer more northern. They have a great selection of oysters locally available so everyone could find one they'd like. I preferred one of them but they didn't identify which was which.

To me, that meant that it was a for sure sign that the food would be great! We had a very friendly server, another added plus. I'm a Charleston girlie so I was trying not to compare our seafoods and luckily I didn't have to... my boil was good, a little salty but delicious nonetheless. I had a mocktail that was equally tasty. This is for sure a spot that many celebrate their birthdays and other celebrations; we saw several. And to top it off, the staff does a whole production of singing "Happy Birthday" and they even offer a cheesecake slice to the birthday girl/boy! The R&B playing in the background forces you to dance and sing along as you eat (I loved that it reminded me of eating seafood with my family back home). If watching sports is your jam, they have several televisions tuned in to sports coverage. The restaurant is very spacey featuring different seating options for various party sizes. We sat across from the bar which was full of guests enjoying their dinner and drinks too. I definitely plan on coming back whenever I visit again.

The seasoning at this spot is elite. Honestly, it holds its own against Hot and Juicy Crawfish, which has always been my top seafood spot. Everything about this experience was a 10 out of 10, especially the service. Our bartender Kenny also happened to be our server, and he did a phenomenal job. Even while bartending, he still made sure we were taken care of. On top of that, three or four other servers checked in on us throughout the night to make sure we had everything we needed. I really appreciated the teamwork and how focused everyone was on making sure we had a great experience. We started with the Passionfruit Sunrise, which Kenny recommended, and it was so good we ended up ordering three. My boyfriend had the Voodoo Lemonade and really enjoyed that too. For appetizers, we got the breadsticks, mozzarella sticks, and oysters. The oysters were a definite highlight . It was flavorful, steamed just right, and covered in all the sauces. If you're an oyster fan, you won't be disappointed. The chicken sandwich was also really good. The lobster bisque was just OK. I ordered a crab boil and added noodles, sausage, and eggs with the Hook & Reel seasoning blend. Everything was incredibly flavorful and cooked perfectly. I honestly can't wait to come back, but I'd only return to this location. They hit every mark: food, drinks, and service. Highly recommend.

I tried the volcano and teriyaki oysters, and they were so good. The truffle fries also held their own, and I am very particular about my fries, so that says a lot. I also ordered the happy hour tacos (oyster and catfish). They were okay, nothing to run home about. Since the restaurant clearly has some elevated sauces, I would love to see those same sauces incorporated into the tacos to make them stand out more. Otherwise, they feel pretty standard. Also, try the deviled eggs topped with a fried oyster. Very tasty and worth ordering. I would absolutely come back to try dinner, but the happy hour menu definitely gives you great value for your money and excellent service.

Could have had this as an entree. -Chargrilled Oysters were unfortunately my least favorite of everything ordered. Nothing stood out. For entrees: -Grilled Branzino was a solid choice. There was an up-charge to replace the cauliflower with broccolini. -Seafood flatbread I had the bread pudding for dessert. I enjoyed the starters more than the main courses. The drinks were luscious and the food was good. The service was attentive and friendly. It's located in a quaint neighborhood of Baltimore reminiscent of Adams Morgan in DC. I will certainly be back to hangout because the ambiance is a vibe! Having metered parking directly across the street provided convenience. That alone felt wild, because everything about this place deserved a packed house. The bartender was fantastic friendly, attentive, and clearly knew her stuff. It was happy hour, so I ordered a peach tea crush and my friend got an orange crush. She even asked whether we wanted soda water or Sprite, which is such a small detail but something I'm never asked and it made the drinks even better. Both were absolutely delicious. Now let's talk food, because wow. I ordered the half & half soup (half Maryland crab soup, half cream of crab), and it was hands-down the best crab soup I've ever had. I'm not exaggerating it was rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. So good that we later came back for soup to go, and then also DoorDashed soup that night because we realized we were going to want more. That should tell you everything. I also got the lobster roll with crab and bacon fries, and I'm still thinking about it. Unreal. My friend ordered the pan-seared rockfish with loaded mashed potatoes, and her meal was just as incredible. Everything came out fast, hot, and beautifully prepared. The restaurant itself is gorgeous clean, comfortable, stylish, and welcoming. Every staff member we interacted with was helpful and kind, and the whole experience felt effortless. Yes, prices are a little on the higher side but this is seafood, and nothing felt shocking or out of line for the quality you're getting. Completely worth it. What really blew my mind was that when we stopped back later, it still wasn't busy maybe 10-20 people total, on a Thursday night in Fells Point. Absolutely baffling. Bottom line: This place is now a mandatory stop anytime I'm in Fells Point honestly, probably daily if I'm in the area. Incredible food, great drinks, beautiful space, and top-notch service. If you're skipping The Chop Tank, you're doing it wrong.

If you sit indoors though, you'd miss out on the cute neighborhood ducks that waddle in- a highlight of my night. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive the entire visit. We ordered a variety of dishes, however I can only speak to my dish which was the seared Sea Bass with a side of green beans. The sea bass was cooked perfectly and although it was a little under seasoned, the grilled lemon helped add some citrus notes. I found it odd that the fish entrees were treated like a steak, meaning they do not come with any sides, you have to order them ala carte. The green beans that I ordered for my side were good, but nothing special, especially for the price. Overall this is a cute spot but definitely seems like it could be a bit of a tourist grab.
