I mean, it is what it is. I definitely lowered my expectations when I decided to watch the game last night here so that helped. They have multiple menus to order from but make sure you ask ahead of time which you can order from. I ordered from their daily special menu but half of my receipt was rung up with their game day special menu and the other half with their daily special menu although I pointed to the items I wanted on the daily menu only . . . . They did have calamari on their game day menu but I didn't want to trust it and not like it because it's easy to get wrong. I decided to just go with their crabcake special for Monday and asked for fries instead of the chips that come with it. It came out and had great photo appeal. The fries are just the regular fries not crinkled or seasoned. The middle of the crab cake was not cooked all the way and it was not very hot either. The fries, the same. They were warm and I did ask for replacement fries because if I'm going to have some fries from Evans going to fully enjoy them. I made that request when I was able to finally wave down a server after some time and I was almost done my crabcake. I always pray over my food and had more faith in not getting sick than I did in sending it back. My fries came out piping hot. I loved that. I'd go back for the social environment since everyone there seemed chill and no incidents occurred within my presence. There was a gentleman who was security at the door, patting people down. So my homeboy had hit me telling me he was going up the Windsor Inn for their Sunday brunch was I trying to go. I had kept hearing good things about it so I was like sure. We got there like 1 & it was pretty light didn't have to fight for parking pulled right up out front. Once we got in it was laid back we found seats at the bar. I went with the salmon BLT & fries for brunch with a Green Tea shot. Our bartender was great i hate that I waited to write this cause now I can't remember her now to shout her out cause she was excellent. My food came out quick & was nice & hot. The salmon was banging. I almost ended up ordering one to go that's how good that thing was. My buddy had some jerk wings but unfortunately whatever sauce they use was too hot I couldn't even enjoy it finish the wing. Windsor inn is an urban bar playing hip hop and rnb music. They have nice drinks but aren't really strong. For food I usually get the wings, crab imperial, and crab and shrimp pasta. Service is ok but if it's kind of packed, it may take a while. The bar is usually filled with people in their 30's and 40's but can accommodate other age groups as well. Me and my mother patronized the Windsor yesterday for a drink and some apps after being out all day shopping. The Pros, nice venue since they renovated, they added an enclosed smoking area outside. They combined the old family dining section with the bar to make it more opened. The drinks although small and in clear plastic cups, will creep on you. We ordered mozzarella sticks (awesome cheese pull) amd southwest egg rolls, both were light, non-greasy, and tasty. They shrunk their menu from a brochure to a 2- sided menu. The Cons, we went on a Saturday around 3p, the bar was full but overall the restaurant wasn't full full. With that being said it took about 10-15 minutes for our drinks, which is really bad for day service, I can't imagine how service is during the evening. The music is super loud, feels like you're in a club, which makes it hard for you to have a conversation with someone, but if you like that you're good. read more

I was quite disappointed with the service during my visit. My server spent the entire meal having a casual lunch with another server, which was frustrating. There was another server who tried to help us get her attention, but he also seemed a bit irritated by her lack of attentiveness. While I appreciate a relaxed atmosphere and wasn't in a hurry, the level of neglect was surprising. It was hard to overlook how casually my server was texting, chatting, and eating without checking on us at all. The service was so poor that I would have preferred not to tip at all. Additionally the salt and pepper shakers were covered hair and dirt. However, a mandatory tip was added to my bill, which felt undeserved. Despite the service issues, I was happy with the food. The portion sizes were generous and reasonably priced. I enjoyed the stuffed salmon with a side of vegetables and bacon Brussels sprouts, while my friend had the fish and grits. Overall, the quality of the food was excellent, which is a silver lining, but the service definitely left much to be desired. I typically tip 25% for good service, but this experience did not even deserve a $5 tip on a $150 bill. 10/10 Recommend for Take Out / Carry Out. Of course I have frequented this place regularly since I was a teenager because I grew up in the area.... However this is the best I've ever seen it look. The renovations are updated and inviting. I would continue to frequent this establishment just because of the scenery. I came on a weekday with my daughter just to eat crabs, and the service was good as well. He was consistent and professional just not too personable. We sat outside and it was not crowded. It was intimate and private. This place seemed to be a hidden gem located within neighborhood, excellent food and drinks I always love visiting the east coast I tend to get some of the best seafood, well next to Florida that is. Although MD has the best crab I've ever tasted! I was able to indulge in a variety of delectable foods; to start off we feasted on Seafood Skins stuffed with Shrimp, Scallops, and Crabmeat, followed by bowl of MD crab soup oh so tasty & to top it off some fish & chips, my oh my was I full but everything was so incredibly favored to perfection I couldn't help myself & when on vacation one must indulge. However they double charge you for the one drink. I know this because they brought the receipt saying $9 for one but charged me $18 claiming it was $18 per drink, while the receipt literally shows the $9 per drink 2 for $18. The cole slaw had so much liquid in the container that I had to drain it before eating it.
