Seasoned well and not too mushy or overcooked. I really enjoyed it. The Mac and cheese was a good texture but it could have been seasoned a little better and a little more sharp cheese. The Mac had its own flavor and style which was a change from usual Mac's I've had in this area but I welcomed it because being honest the best Mac I've had here was at Chick-fil-A. Next Phaze Cafe has been in my black-owned restaurant foodie visit list for months. When I noticed that the restaurant offered delivery through Grubhub, I jumped at the chance to give them a try. Sad to say, my experience was just "ok". Their menu is very small and they don't offer many sides. I ordered the catfish for myself, shrimp and chicken for my sons. While the flavors were good, they were really something you would write home about. The restaurant doesn't have a niche, something that makes them standout amongst all of the soul food restaurants in Baltimore. I will say their prices are comparable to another restaurants, but the food is as forgettable. I will keep an eye on their menu with hopes that they will make some changes or add more options.
