Everything was delicious, and the patio was a great place to unwind after our hike. The music --a high-energy playlist from the night before (i assumed) still on an active loop. Although we were there on a Monday at lunchtime, the dining area quickly became busy and loud. We ordered some crab dip, which they were able to provide some gluten-free bread for. I really liked the crab dip! It was creamy and flavorful. After placing some salad orders, the food came out, but we were not brought utensils to eat. The meat was not cooked how we asked for it to be, and one of the plates had to be sent back to be cooked more. After around 20 minutes, we were finally given forks to start eating. I ordered the Ahi Tuna Salad and despite my fish being a bit underdone, it was pretty good. I wish there was more dressing on the salad though because it was a bit bland and dry. It also seemed like our waiter was super stressed as he was genuinely running through the restaurant at times.

My husband got the wrap, which I tasted and thought was fresh and the chicken was well seasoned. All in all the service was friendly and fast. I will say that the service was pleasant. My server was very kind, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Of all the things we ordered, including a pizza, burrata salad, meatball appetizer, s'mores Panna cotta, pasta, and a side of broccoli.... I'd say the best thing was the broccoli. And it was mid. We started off by ordering three appetizers - the fried feta, the nachos and the pork belly. The feta tasted great on its own, but we thought the dipping sauce was too sweet. Was it honey-based? The pork belly itself had great flavor and the sauce wasn't bad, though we thought it was sweet as well. The meat is the star of the show and doesn't need such a thick coating of sweet sauce. The nachos were a total disappointment. While the plate was piled high with chips, there was a distinct dearth of toppings. There was a cheese sauce on some chips and there was a dollop of sour cream in the middle but it had very few beans or other toppings. Really, most of the dish was just plain chips. Total waste. When it came time for entrees, we ordered the Rachel and the fish and chips (we were disappointed that the "today's menu" online said they had fish tacos but the menu in the brewery did not list them). The fish and chips was a total disappointment. Typical breading but thin pieces of fish and was served with only a tiny portion of vinegar. The Rachel was okay but really nothing special. While we'll definitely be back to Union in the future, I doubt we'd order food from here again.
