This is one of the truly hidden gems in Baltimore. I used to always see people posting these good looking food online from here & finally I made it there. The food definitely didn't disappoint at all but easily the best part was the great hospitality by the owner. He makes you walk away from there feeling that your business is valued & greatly appreciated. But now to the food sadly my pictures don't do the food any justice. This was their tenders, fish sandwich, & fries with a drink for $15. But there is so many great food options & deals they have so you'll find yourself coming back just to taste all of their delicious food

I happened to be playing the lottery across the street from this business. It caught my eye because it was pretty busy. My boyfriend and I decided to get something. I chose the lemon pepper shrimp which was pretty tasty. The fries were just ok. My boyfriend had the lemon pepper wings which he stated were delicious. The cheese steak egg rolls were complimentary due to us having to wait a little longer for our food because of a small mishap. I thought that was very nice of the business to do. We had not complained about the wait which made it even better for the business to acknowledge it. The customer service was awesome. It's not a very big place but, there is a small counter and few seats.

I read the reviews on here for this spot and decided to try it out. I was pleasantly surprised. I love crab cakes and I like to try them from different establishments. I was not disappointed. It was fried a little harder than I'd like. I may try the broiled next time but it was overall still good. A good mix of filling and lump crab. The flavor was just how I like it and I really enjoyed it. As we know everyone's Mac and cheese is not the same. For me it was just okay. I absolutely still ate it because it was still flavorful but just not what I prefer. I think I like my Mac a little looser. The yams were good and not too sweet. The service was great as well. I ordered over the phone and my order was ready when I got there. The place is located basically in Pimlico and very clean.

So my sister was telling me about how good the food is at "JUMPIN OUT THE POT" I was a little sceptic but when I ate my food I was like WOW!!! now I was like when can I go back I was so impressed with the owner and how he treated me like family when he heard it was my birthday and gave me a ice tea to celebrate my birthday man I can't wait to go back ...M Mmmm my taste buds are jumping for joy at the thought of going back.

This was my first time here took about 20 minutes Great price for a 8piece combo with fries and drink! The lemonade was good a bit sugary but got a free refill so can't complain, Definitely would recommend. Big space not a place to dine in but overall great ambiance .

This was my first time coming here and I am happy with my food! The lamb bowl with shrimp is very good, flavorful and the yellow rice was soooo good! The honey old bay wings were crispy just like I like them they are a hit! The service was top tier! I told them it was my first time coming here and the gentleman let me try the ribs and the seafood salad! I will definitely come back! Black owned and great customer service!

I was craving some soul food as a hangover cure and didn't have the energy to drive further than ten minutes. I was so glad that I found this gem near the Mount Washington area. I ordered the fried chicken with yams and macaroni and cheese and added a banana pudding for dessert. The food was exactly what I needed to get my life back together. The chicken was seasoned and crisp and the Mac and cheese was perfect. My favorite item was the banana pudding which was to die for. I ordered over the phone, and my order was ready for pick up within 20 minutes. Everyone who worked there seemed pleasant and was extremely friendly. The place was pretty busy which is a sign that it's good. I will definitely be back.

This place is on point. Per Yelp reviews i choose to give this place a try for some good eats, and it did not disappoint. I got the honey ole bay wings and shrimp combo which comes with fries and a drink. The chicken had great flavor and was well balanced, the shrimp were nicely seasoned and were a decent size, the cocktail sauce had a kick but was good as well. The half and half reminded me of that DC half/half, it's sweet but so good. I wanted to try the banana pudding based on a pic that was posted to Yelp a year ago, I was kinda disappointed because the pic shows the "southern" way of making banana pudding...... vanilla pudding, vanilla wafers and bananas..... they have changed they way it's made with banana flavored pudding and chessman's cookies which I think is a BMORE thing, because this is the second place that I have encountered making it that way. I'm so glad I asked once I saw the cookie on top. Other than that I definitely would be going back, they have lots of different food options. Breakfast menu looks great as well as the fried lobster tails, those were just some of the items that stood out to me on the menu, oh they have different varieties of rice bowls as well. Be prepared to wait 20-30 minutes because everything is made fresh to order.

    TyTy Fries
    Morgan G.

I ordered the Ty Ty Fries, Crab Cake Sandwich and the Macaroni and Cheese. The crab cake and macaroni and cheese were good but, I really enjoyed the Ty Ty Fries. All the various flavors Tomato, Cheese , Creamy Sauce , and Onions with Chicken. AMAZING. I would definitely recommend. P.S. I used Uber Eats to order my food.

Just tried this great little carry out place in West Baltimore! A great variety of American and southern dishes are served, by a friendly and helpful staff. I ate the whiting, sweet potatoes, and mac & cheese. Everything was delicious and servings were plentiful! Definitely, I would eat here again!

I want it again…read more.... This was a very good experience. The courtyard dining was very nice and not as loud compared to the inside experience. The food was fresh and very tasty. Brunch was understood here. The French toast was very nice and not heavy despite its massive quantity. The flavors complimented each other all the way until the last bite. The Montecristo sandwich was balanced savory and sweet flawlessly. This was a hearty selection and could be shared with two. The cheese grits had to be made by someone's grandma IYKYK. The cowboy bacon I could just have a tray of it as it was a flavor bomb covering heat, sweet, salty, savory, and smokey. The staff was super friendly and accommodating working as a team. The table next to me was promptly provided with hot fries upon request due to the original order being "cold". A few minutes passed by and boom hot fresh fries. I had no clue about village and the assortment of shops and restaurants. I'm super happy I stumbled across it and found the hidden gems. They nailed it. 4.8 out of 5

Like many other reviewers, we found it very difficult to locate the restaurant within the plaza. Once we arrived, we were seated quickly, and the initial service was prompt. I also want to acknowledge one aspect of the service that I genuinely appreciated. As someone with celiac disease, dining out can be stressful, yet the staff were attentive to my dietary needs, offered several safe options, and clearly communicated which items might not be appropriate for me to eat. That level of awareness and consideration made me feel welcomed and cared for, and I am grateful for it. Hence, I feel comfortable, providing one star for that purpose. That being said, there were a few moments later when we had trouble finding our waitress after requesting changes to our order. Unfortunately, the changes to our order ultimately became necessary because the food simply was not good. My husband and I both ordered the shrimp and grits. I ordered mine without sausage, while he kept it as prepared. The grits were gummy, sticky, and overly cheesy, something I never imagined I would complain about. As a Black Indigenous American woman, shrimp and grits represents far more than a menu item to me. It is a dish shaped by generations of cultural exchange and resilience, drawing from Indigenous corn traditions and the culinary practices carried by African ancestors and preserved within Gullah Geechee communities. Because of that rich heritage, I hold this dish in high regard. Unfortunately, this version felt disconnected from the flavors, textures, and history that make shrimp and grits such a meaningful part of Southern food traditions. My husband ultimately sent his meal back and ordered the fish sandwich instead, which he also found disappointing. I added an egg to my dish in hopes that it might improve the experience, but it arrived long after I had already lost the desire to continue eating. I was also surprised that, in a state with such a strong military presence, particularly in Baltimore, there didn't offer a military discount. What saddens me most is that we chose this restaurant over several other options because of the overwhelmingly positive reviews. I believe honest reviews matter, both for future customers and for owners who genuinely want feedback to improve. We spent our money expecting a memorable treat to celebrate my recovery and instead left feeling disappointed and regretful. Looking back, I wish I had asked for a refund while we were there. Honestly, my husband is still upset upset that he spent his money. Despite having the funds available, he believes we would've been better off having a meal at home.

Although we were there on a Monday at lunchtime, the dining area quickly became busy and loud. We ordered some crab dip, which they were able to provide some gluten-free bread for. I really liked the crab dip! It was creamy and flavorful. After placing some salad orders, the food came out, but we were not brought utensils to eat. The meat was not cooked how we asked for it to be, and one of the plates had to be sent back to be cooked more. After around 20 minutes, we were finally given forks to start eating. I ordered the Ahi Tuna Salad and despite my fish being a bit underdone, it was pretty good. I wish there was more dressing on the salad though because it was a bit bland and dry. It also seemed like our waiter was super stressed as he was genuinely running through the restaurant at times.

Made a reservation not like you really need one, but we made one and was seated down pretty quickly. The host was nice and friendly and the wait staff said hello to us within the five minutes of us seating. I appreciated how family-friendly this place was, they give these cute little animal boxes with different things inside and crayons to keep the kids entertained. The decoration is fun with a lot of outdoor vibes and stuffed real animals. They bring out a side of chip and a yogurt dill dip that's interesting, a fun idea. The food, mhm so we ordered a lot! Crab dip: 2.5/5 not too bad but not memorable, okay amount of crab, flavors were too heavy on the cream cheese/fillers but just okay, they need more bread with it but the chips helped. Prob wouldn't order again Crab cake: 3.8/5 pretty good size and good amount of crab and good flavor probably the best dish that we had ordered here! Would get again. Burger: 3/5 granted I did order this medium well for my kid, but the burger was charred a little too much around the burger, giving it a sort of dry crunch on the edges and charcoal burn vibes. Not my favorite texture that I would want on a burger, but perhaps it would've been different if I ordered a medium? Bread itself was a little stale/crunchy which I did not prefer how it was cooked/prepared. Overall, it was just okay. Ribs: 2.5/5 the ribs were half off ribs so I decided to go for it because of the good deal. But it was just okay, being that Blackhog barbecue is right next-door (thier dry rub ribs are amazing), I would hope that they would step up their barbecue rib game. For a " full rack" there were only nine bones and seemed a little smaller than what I'm used to. It's very heavy on the sauce which I didn't think was the best pairing and wasn't the best flavor bbq sauce. Overall, I wouldn't order it again. Steak kabob: 3.2/5 this was actually pretty tender for the cut of meat, I'm surprised that I didn't have to work for it so I was happy about that! The only criticism that we have is that the meat itself did not have that much flavor or seasoning and there's only one skewer of meat and one skewer of veggies. Meaning the total amount of meat that was probably on that dish was no more than 4 -5 ounces of steak. And for that price point, I would want a little bit more meat. Mac and Cheese: 3.5/5 pretty good for a kids Mac! Good cheese and flavor was impressed! Overall, the service and the host in the experience of being there was pretty good, but the food was a little lacking not sure if I would go again, but it was on our right experience in terms of food

We've been here for casual date nights, Valentine's dinner, and the last time we came was for our friends renewing their vows after 10 years of marriage. That alone says a lot about the kind of place it is. It fits both everyday moments and really meaningful ones. What stands out first is the atmosphere. There's a warmth to the space that makes it feel inviting right away. It has a rustic, polished look with a lot of character, but it never feels stiff or overly formal. It's the kind of place where you can tell thought was put into every detail, but it still feels comfortable enough to settle in and enjoy yourself. For me, the experience starts before the food even hits the table. The space has a calm, intentional energy to it. It's perfect for slowing things down and actually enjoying your time, especially with someone you care about. The food is where it really separates itself. Everything feels carefully prepared and well thought out. You can tell they care about ingredients, and that always comes through in the flavor. Nothing feels thrown together or generic. The menu itself gets you excited before you even order, and the food lives up to it. What I appreciate most is that it doesn't just feel like a place serving food, it feels like a place creating an experience. The dishes have personality. There's intention behind them. It's not about being flashy, it's about doing things right. The service adds to that as well. Every time we've gone, the staff has been friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive without hovering. It makes the whole experience feel smooth and relaxed. Another thing I like is that it feels distinctly Baltimore without feeling ordinary. It has a real identity to it, and that makes it memorable. My wife and I keep coming back because it feels like time well spent. Good food, great atmosphere, and the kind of place that actually stays with you after you leave. Overall, this is easily one of the more memorable dining experiences in Baltimore. Definitely worth it if you're looking for something that feels meaningful, not just another night out.

We started off by ordering three appetizers - the fried feta, the nachos and the pork belly. The feta tasted great on its own, but we thought the dipping sauce was too sweet. Was it honey-based? The pork belly itself had great flavor and the sauce wasn't bad, though we thought it was sweet as well. The meat is the star of the show and doesn't need such a thick coating of sweet sauce. The nachos were a total disappointment. While the plate was piled high with chips, there was a distinct dearth of toppings. There was a cheese sauce on some chips and there was a dollop of sour cream in the middle but it had very few beans or other toppings. Really, most of the dish was just plain chips. Total waste. When it came time for entrees, we ordered the Rachel and the fish and chips (we were disappointed that the "today's menu" online said they had fish tacos but the menu in the brewery did not list them). The fish and chips was a total disappointment. Typical breading but thin pieces of fish and was served with only a tiny portion of vinegar. The Rachel was okay but really nothing special. So most of the time it's fine, but while most staff are making food, the day I went it was one guy taking orders and delivering them, so you might stand there awkwardly with no one at the register to greet you for a couple of minutes. I got the "Dustin's Really Awesome Version of a Sandwich They Used to Make at a Really Famous Restaurant" and it was fantastic. It's hard to go wrong with a long thick slice of pork belly topped with BBQ sauce and pickles. I would absolutely get this again. I think I would drop the $3 upcharge to upgrade chips to fries. The chips were basic Utz out of the bag. Not bad, but this sandwich needs fries I think. A lot of other stuff on the menu looked good. I think they have some healthy-ish options if you want (including a soba noodle and veggie salad that caught my eye). Prices are what you'd expect at a place like the Union Collective. Definitely worth trying out!

There are so many beers to choose from and I got the Zadie's Lager on draft (which was a delicious light beer). They have windows into the brewing area which looks super cool, and they brew a lot of the beers on site! I ended up getting a six-pack of Mountain Girl beers to take home. Staff was quick and friendly. It was busy for a Friday night and there were some kids running around and being obnoxious, but other than that we had a great time. This is the perfect spot for an event or meet up with lots of friends. The space is huge!!
