I recently moved to Boynton Beach as a "Snowflake" and was not familiar with the area. I googled hair salons and found David and Co . I read many wonderful reviews and knew I would become a Client when in Florida. I have been a Client of Sydney for over 1 month- just for blow drying- I have been using a hair colorist up North for 10 years and was very hesitant in coloring my hair at the salon. My Color was fading afterall it was 2 months overdue. Today was the day and I absolutely love the Color, even better than up North! Sydney is truly a professional colorist who goes to New York and even teaches others ! She is passionate in her field- I was amazed when she told me she was thinking about my color all week- David and Co is now my Salon when I am in Florida! Sydney is the Best! read more

Liz is an INCREDIBLY talented stylist. I absolutely love being her client and will never switch. Booking appointments with her is so easy to do over the phone or on the online booking link. She is always so on time as well. I have never ever waited for an appointment that I've had booked. Most importantly, my hair always looks absolutely amazing. One of my favorite things is that she does exactly what her clients ask for and provides each client their own unique look that fits them and their desired look. The salon manager and other stylists are always beyond welcoming and kind as well. Anytime you have to adjust an appointment they answer the phone immediately and are happy to help!! But Sometimes I have to wait quite awhile for my appointment and also when dye is in my hair and timer goes off no one comes to wash it out for awhile or no timer is set at all. I went to this salon when David owned it and was always impressed at how professional it was managed. When he opened Salon David in west Boynton I started going there. Recently I called Salon David to make an appointment and a "starnge" voice anwered the phone. I was told that Salon David was closed and it was going to become a restaurant which is not true. I was also told that the new owner of Salon David was "stealing " clients and also hairdressers. I find this action by the owners of David and Company to be unethical and unprofessional. In addition, the salon is not very clean and really needs an updating. My advice is to stay away from this salon and its owners. read more

I had a very good experience here. I came in for a manicure with Ingrid! I was running a few minutes late and I didn't know where they were in the San Marcos Plaza so I called and they were so nice! I had a nice plain manicure (I brought my own polish so i can touch up when it chips). They also give out complimentary water and coffee which is nice. The next customer came in a little early (so thought my manicurist hut actually she was on time- and no one stressed about it- which was nice). I sat for about 15 minutes under the dryer and then left. Since they are near my office I just might be able to return! read more

Hairdressers are rude and smell like cigarettes.My friends who has came here says that it is their "natural smell". Not a pleasant smell when you're trying to have a relaxing day. There are older women who come here and they seem to take advantage of them. They help them with their bags and try to sneak themselves a bigger tip. I saw one of them get into a cadilac I guess that's where they get their money. When I was leaving I accidentally bumped into them on my way out and they looked at me crazy! read more

Have been coming here since I moved down from NY. The shop is a bit dated, and not so comfortable, but it's where I found Joe..who is the hippest stylist there and keeps me coming. Started with color and he got it perfectly, and when he told me he also cuts, I decided to try him. Well-I couldn't be happier and feel I got one of the best haircuts I ever have!! However.......I noticed later in day a coupon for Joe....a special $ 79.00,...... I paid $115.00. ( Coupon in the Boynton booklet that is mailed) How nice, IF I had been given this discount as my first time there, and first time with Joe who is gathering in clients. Poor customer service should receive no stars. (Yelp limits me to one.) Saturday afternoon, I called to inquire if they had a web site, so I could view this establishment, and read up on serrvices, "no", they said. "Did I need an appointment for a pedi?". "No," they said. "Ok!", I said, "I'll be on my way". I drove over, twenty minutes later. The place was bustling at 3:50pm. I stood at the check in counter for quite a few minutes as the staff of four were busy viewing pictures on someone's phone. I was surprised, as the clock ticked. And ticked. Finally, I was greeted. I asked for a pedi. They told me that the staff was leaving. "Did I have an appointment?," they asked. "No" I, said I had just called. The hours posted said it was open until 5:00pm. I moved back up to this area recently and found my hairstylist Tonya working at David and Company. I absolutely love this place. Tonya is a fantastic stylist and a great person, too. The place is very friendly and very busy. Obviously they are doing something right. The whole shopping center is busy, so give yourself some time to park and be patient as there are some elderly people driving and walking around there. And like most hair salons these days, it's cash and checks, so come prepared. So happy I found Tonya, again!!!! read more
