We ordered takeout from this spot and were pleasantly surprised by how delicious everything was! We got the Chicken Fried Rice, Orange Chicken, Beef Noodle Soup, and Hot & Sour Soup--all cooked to perfection with great flavors. The food was prepared quickly, the cashier was friendly, and the restaurant was clean and well-maintained. Overall, a fantastic experience, and we'll definitely be coming back!

This neighborhood restaurant is convenient for take out orders. On my first visit at dinner time, service was nice and friendly. Food was prepared quickly. - Egg rolls were so good, crispy and not greasy. - Kung pao shrimp had a generous amount of shrimp and vegetables. Very fresh, savory and just right kick of spicy! Ordered a side of rice to go with it. Plenty of parking in the strip mall. Definitely will be back to try other items!

i am a frequent customer at the Darda Milpitas. This place is an express version. I ordered a Tsa Ma Mien. They don't have a choice of noodles. The soup is still good. I think the one in Milpitas is better. Also got chicken wonton soup, general tso chicken and green beans. The food is fine and service is one waitress take orders and serving. The ambiance is spartan.

I really enjoyed my visit to Darda. I was in a hurry to grab dinner. I put in a large order and it came out quickly. The Mongolian beef was very good. I will definitely be coming back.

Amazing flavors and portions well known by Darda. This little spin-off from the Milpitas location is a gem and we love to support small businesses. The service was fast and friendly, the food had delicious flavors, especially the hot and sour soup. Definitely our go-to spot for halal Chinese food

Great food great value. It is casual but the food is really good. They use halal meat and have free side orders.

Highly recommended! Location: next to Smart&Final on Mary near Zanotto and Walgreens. * Fantastic food like Darda in Milpitas * Fast, convenient * Good Chinese take out * Wish they had the big sesame bread

The combination of meat, veggies and the exterior crispy pancake created such an outstanding tasting effect. The lamb dish had one of the most tender meats I've tasted. The brown sugar sticky rice cake was soft inside and hard outside; with just the right amount of sweetness. Service was ok. They should've been kinder and more grateful. I liked how they have a sign posted on window saying that gratuity is at free will and you don't pay for the wrong dish they send to you. It showed accountability. That's why we keep coming back, for now.

There was no line for us to be seated. I was able to flag down a server to seat us since they seem to be extremely busy cleaning tables and servicing others. The hotpots are full of ingredients and the broth has always been tasty. Unfortunately, the meats seem to be overcooked. Prices have been going up over the years where only the monthly special is enticing for the value. Servers were friendly and checked in on us, but it took 25 minutes for our food to show up at our table after we ordered. The only consistent experience I've had are the oranges at the end of the meal. They are always amazingly sweet, juicy, and comes off the peel easily. I don't usually enjoy oranges, but I love the ones HomeEat offers! Will be back if in the area, but hope kitchen service will be quicker in the future.

We knew to go early, since they don't take reservations and we often see lines outside. We arrived at 10:30am and the front manager said if we can be done my 12:30, that they had a table for us. Party of 12, since we got there early, we agreed. The side room had the biggest round table for us. They ask you what kind of tea you want, we like chrysanthemum tea. You order the items on the paper menu and it comes to your table. So we got going on the orders and TBH, we must be hungry, because we did a lot of orders (we had plenty of left overs). Tried some favorites and a few new items that we thought were unique to their restaurant. My dad has to order crispy noodle and chow fun, and we also ordered chicken fried rice. The service was prompt and attentive, with enough servers to take care of the side room. Since it was the "sun room", the sun was shining through the windows and it was bright. Review from my parents: it was just meh, they prefer the other place near our house. I think the food is good, but probably won't come back again with a big group of us, since they don't have many big round tables. And personally, I prefer the whole experience of the ladies coming around with their carts. Perhaps their dinner menu is also worth trying. Bonus for us is that we can literally walk to this restaurant. Parking could be an issue if you come later.

Ironically, I'm not a fan of them myself--they're a bit too eggy for my taste. When it comes to dim sum quality and service, I honestly prefer Koi Palace. The food quality there is more consistent, and the service is much more phenomenal. The only things this place really has over Koi Palace are the lower prices and those black sesame custard buns my friend loves! I've been here at least a dozen times, and the food can be hit or miss. Sometimes dishes come out cold, like they've been sitting out for a while instead of being served fresh and hot. That said, there are a few items we always order that are consistently good when brought out fresh like salted crispy pork chops, siu mai, shrimp rolls, and fried calamari. Be prepared for a wait on weekends since it gets crowded. If you're coming with a large group, it's best to arrive before noon. The restaurant is located next to a hotel, and finding the restroom can be confusing since it's inside the hotel. Service is also pretty minimal--they seem understaffed, and I almost always have to flag someone down just to get basics like soy sauce, chili, and water. I don't understand why they don't just have the sauce on the table for guest to dip, but I get that they're saving $ on controlling the cost down. On my most recent visit, the experience really went downhill. Our table had food but no soy sauce, chilli nor water, and when I flagged a waiter multiple times, he got visibly annoyed and irritated. It was frustrating--we shouldn't have to chase someone down repeatedly for basic condiments. Being met with attitude for that honestly left a bad impression. That experience alone makes me reconsider coming back. Good food at a good price is one thing, but poor service--especially to that extent--can really ruin the overall experience.

The restaurant looked pretty much the same as I remembered. Arrived soon after they opened at 11, we were told to pick our table. The dim sum push cart came around very quickly after we were seated. We were not given the menu, just ordered dim sum items from the cart. We shared a total of 8 or 9 items; most of them were pretty tasty with decent ingredients. Shrimp dumpling - Large, the skin broke on some Siu-Mai - good / ok Tofu skin roll - one of our favorites Chicken feet - four large chicken feet, plump, tender and tasty. excellent Shrimp rice roll - good, portion is on the smaller side Steamed rice in lotus leaf - good Turnip cake - large pieces, texture is on the harder side Egg tart - very good Although I appreciate the dim sum push carts as it's more traditional but probably because the first batch of items sat for a while in the cart, they were not as hot as I'd like compared to 'cook to order' places. The restaurant filled up nicely around noon which is good to see, dishes from regular menu we saw on other tables looked interesting and served in good portions. Overall, we had an enjoyable lunch with good tasting food and friendly service, price is comparable to other restaurants in the area. Easy parking is a plus. Would like to come back and try the regular menu items.

Would've preferred a spicier soup, and noted it didn't have that wok hei, similar to other Korean places. Overall a decent bowl, and the best dish we had. Meat itself didn't have much flavor either. A disappointment, but part of it was our preference in taste as well. Green beans - really dry and some were undercooked. Not really much flavor in the dish. Biggest disappointment. Service - we never got check ins, unless we flagged someone down - not usually a big deal, but it was hard to flag anyone down when we wanted drinks and our check.
