Roasted eggplant, tabbouleh, falafel, babagahoush, salad with feta, tomato and cucumber and hummus.

Oh my gosh.... My New favorite in Sunnyvale. Sat outside in beautiful weather but the food is what got my attention. I ordered the vegetarian plate, only because it had samples of everything I wanted to try. Absolutely loved the creamy hummus and babaganoush with pomegranate seeds... salad with feta and roasted eggplant. There was so much deliciousness on a plate I could not eat it all!

Visited for weekday dinner with a friend, absolutely delicious eats! * Location: Murphy Ave - plenty of parking lots nearby & within short walking distance of Caltrain. * Seating: Great indoor seating & outdoor seating options (plus heated lamps for chillier evenings). * Service & Staff: Fantastic service from attentive staff from check-in all the way through post-meal. * Food: Everything was genuinely outstanding. Meal started with fluffy pita bread and tasty za'atar before the Muhammara (the molasses take it to a whole other level!!). Friend tried the Shish Taouk while I ordered the Bustan Salat. Tastes were fantastic for every dish, generous portions. Great dinner experience, would definitely recommend to others, & we'll be back!

My husband and I are on the hunt for good Arab restaurants in the Bay Area since moving from Orange County. As a Palestinian American, I was excited to come across DishDash after an event nearby and decided to check it out. When we first walked in, I loved seeing the beautiful wall that highlights Palestinian culture. But once you step into the main dining space, the vibe shifts. It clearly caters more to a non-Arab audience. Not bad, just not what I was expecting based on the first impression. We ordered the combo kebab, the mezza for two, and the Za'taar with olive oil and bread. The bread was really good, and I had to pace myself to not get full off it. The Za'taar had a nice tang to it that I really liked. Both of us enjoyed the combo kebab, especially with the freekeh. The mezza was good, but the labneh was a little watery and the tabbouleh portion felt a bit small. Everything still tasted fresh. It's definitely on the pricier side, and you can tell it's aiming for more of a fine dining experience. The service was solid and we had no complaints. I just wish the cultural feel continued more consistently throughout the space because it would be nice to find a place that feels connecting to our culture!

Dish dash provided good service, tasty food in big portions. Mansaf was $34 including tax.

Loved all the food we got here!! First tip: do NOT fill up on the pita and zaatar dip they bring to the table (and they will keep bringing more). Order some appetizers -- the muhammara and toum are fantastic -- and make sure you use your bread allotment there. But also, you might like the pita to soak up some of the tasty sauces the main entrees come with. Everything is so delicious. The grilled meats have that wonderful grilled flaovr. The sea bass and lamb shank were incredibly tender. I loved absolutely everything we got. For five adults, we got three dips (one was hummus with lamb shawarma so that's a little heavier of an appetizer I guess) and three big entree plates, and that was about perfect. We got one of each of the carb options: seasoned potatoes (very tender and flavorful, creamy gold potatoes), rice, and freekeh (good bite/chew to it compared to the rice). Enjoyed all of it. The servers are also super nice and kept checking on us, making sure our pita basket was filled and even brought us a spicy sauce (very good!). Definitely come here with others and eat it family style because the portions are big, and it would be a shame not to try a variety of their dishes.

My party of four made a reservation on a Thursday night, definitely needed as this restaurant was PACKED. There is a complimentary pita and dip, but we ended up getting a Shawarma Hummus with chicken which was really delicious. The staff were really attentive and we had a great dining experience. Kufta Kebab - this is the same beef lamb combo of meat, really flavorful, solid choice. Suneyet Kufta - pretty solid dish, the potatoes were large, but crispy until the gravy starts to soak into it and make it softer. I really liked the meat here which was a beef lamb combo. There is a lot of rice that comes on the side, I ended up eating the other half of this entire dish for lunch the next day.

I didn't order but this was my favorite!

The food is amazing and I never had to ask for a refill. Nikki the manager took the best care of us! I world recommend to anyone in the area or visiting. You will be glad you stopped in for the yummy food!

Love love love! They offer indoor (full bar inside) and outdoor seating and the service was fantastic. Located right in downtown Sunnyvale. Offers a variety of Middle Eastern dishes and everything that we ordered was absolutely phenomenal. Mansaf - when mixed with freekeh, the flavor was amazing. Lamb was very tender. Combo Kebab - chicken and beef. Beef was well seasoned and chicken was also tender. Came with grilled brussels sprouts and 2 side sauces. Shawarma Hummus with lamb - pita bread was soft. A must try.

I had a great dinner here with a friend on a Friday night. We had reservations and were seated immediately, no issues. Food was delicious and service was great. This was my first time here but my friend has been many times. Everything we had was so flavorful. Will definitely go back. Parking across the street was plentiful. Get the toum, bring mints for later.

    PITA BREAD + ZA'ATAR DIP - Complimentary

WHEN: Sat @7pm I never come to Sunnyvale, so when my partner and I visited the SJ Made Little Shops Village, we knew we should eat somewhere. Dish Dash stood out as it was just a couple of blocks from the event, along with several other restaurants on a closed block. It was a lovely evening so we sat outside where they had heater lamps set up. Alex was our server who took great care of us, and here's what we ordered: PITA BREAD + ZA'ATAR DIP - Complimentary The dip was so interesting--Olive oil, sesame seeds and dried herbs. Really enjoyed pitting the pita in them. MAZA SAMPLER - For 2 - $23.50 Hummus, Babaghanouge, Tabouli, Khyar b'laban, Rihan, Muhammara, Falafel, Pickles & Olives. How fun and delicous! Definitely used the leftover pita bread from the complimentary appetizer for these fun "sauces!" It was hard to pick a favorite and you can have them by the spoonful too! All served cold and so refreshing. MAKLOUBEH - $38 With BRAISED LAMB - Layers of Eggplant, Cauliflower, Potatoes, Garbanzo, Freekeh (green durum wheat), saffron-yogurt, salata. The braised lamb was so tender and flavorful, and everything surrounding it was delicious. This dish felt healthy and hearty, and it's a definite share with leftovers. Each ingredient was cooked the way I liked it--even the boring cauliflower had a not roasted flavor and texture to it! I was so impressed by this place and I enjoyed it so much. There was so much leftover and I was happy there was no wait when we went--plenty of seating indoors and outdoors.

Lentil soup(5/5): my favorite! So yummy Mango yogurt (4/5): very creamy, delicious Shish kebab (4.5/5): Flavorful. Pricey but generous portions. Asked for medium rare but the meat was rather medium to medium well. Maza sampler (3.5/5): falafel was good

I had dinner at DishDash on a Sunday evening and made a reservation ahead of time. We were given the choice of outdoor seating with heaters or indoors. The outdoor seating area was nice and the weather was lovely, so we enjoyed outdoor seating for our meal. We started with a few cold dips to start, which combined with constantly replenished warm bread, whetted our appetites. We ordered several main dishes: Mansaf, kebabs, and tabsi with a combination of sides: roasted potatoes and vegetables, basmati rice, and freekeh. All dishes were packed with flavors, the sides were all excellent complements (shout out to the crispy potatoes and toothsome freekeh), and the meats were all cooked wonderfully. Our server was amazing - I wish I had caught his name, but he was patient and checked in on us often. Our waters were never empty, and the waitstaff were all friendly. Timing of the dishes was great, and we never felt rushed. I highly recommend DishDash for great food and service. For a party of 4, 2 appetizers and 3 entrees was a good amount of food with some leftovers.

    Fattoush salad
    Karne N.

Ate here outside on a warm night. Murphy Street was busy but we were seated right away and served by Raul, who was great. We enjoyed the Fattoush Salad and the falafel, both of which were excellent. The falafel was crisp and spicy but not at all oily. Our only disappointment was the Suneyet Kufta which had too much sauce and was therefore quite heavy. We had drinks as well and the price was reasonable - a novel experience these days.

Dairy allergy here. If I don't eat the yogurt, are any of the meats dairy free?

Catering which is better DishNDash or DishDash?

    DishDash is better than DishNDash.

Do they still have the chicken shwarma salad?

Yes. Ask for any salad and add chicken shawarma.

What ingredients are in the amazing kabob green sauce?

They call it Walnut Herb sauce (see my review). In case you don’t get reply I just thought I’d leave the general name and maybe you can YouTube or Google it. You should ask them if they sell it :)

Is Dish Dash doing outdoor seating now?

Yes. They have tables along the sidewalk which are separated by plexiglass screens, and then spaced out tables in the street. It is very pleasant.

For the sauces, what is the authentic name for the red hot chili-ish sauce, refreshing mint green sauce, olive oil like herb sauce and a garlic tasting fluffy like cream? Also what’s the sauce in the falafel platter?

    Many times.

    Do they take reservations?

    Yes

Do they still have the chicken shwarma salad on the menu? One of the best salads I've had and they took it out at the Dish Dash Grill in Milpitas.

    I am not sure

    Is this place halal?

    Yes

    Are they vegan friendly?

Yes I have found some vegan items on the menu. You can also modify certain veggie dishes that have cheese. Tahini is vegan and falafel and veggie wrap is excellent.

What's up with DishDash, Dish n Dash, Dish N Dash, Dish n' Dash, Dishdash Grill, etc.? Is someone trying to cash in on an established brand name? And if so, who's copying who?

Same owner, different restaurants, full menu vs. fast food vs. limited menu items are served at different locations.

Are Dishdash and Dish n Dash the same restaurant?

No. They have pretty different menus. Dish n Dash is order at the counter and they call you to pick up your food. Basically wraps and salads but the one on North First Street also has plates, beer and wine. No reservations; stand in line, find your… Read more

    Do they deliver?

No, they partner with delivery apps like doordash.

    How is the shawarma?

Boyfriend had the chicken shawarma and he said it was delicious! The meat was juicy and he enjoyed it a lot.
