    Chicken bowl with lentil soup.
    Laura P.

Love how you can customize your order (similar to Chipotle). The pomegranate chicken rice bowl was great and there are a lot of options for add-ins and sauces. All plates/bowls come with lentil soup on the side. The portion sizes are decent too!

This was really good! I had the vegan protein plate which came with rice, falafel, eggplant, chickpeas, cauliflower, pickles, a tiny bit of salad, and hummus. Everything tasted delicious, my favorite part was probably the hummus. Menu has lots of vegan options and is very clearly labeled.

Good lentil soup and fries :D I had a really great experience here! Big portions, solid quality ingredients, and it's convenient. I recommend the Chicken Shawarma Rice Bowl! Well seasoned and tender chicken. Definitely try the eggplant and cauliflower too. Sooooo good, especially with the Tzatziki, Hummus, and Garlic Spread! Staff here aren't the nicest... but I'll overlook it since they gave such genereous scoops of food. Thanks SAJJ!

Steak Shawarma salad bowl with lentil soup

This place is best described as being like Chipotle for mediterranean food. You walk down assembly line and decide which sides / proteins you want in your order. I opted for the steak shawarma in a salad bowl and my wife ordered a similar salad bowl but opted for chicken. I wasn't the biggest fan of the seasoning on the shawarma, and preferred the chicken when I took a bite of the other bowl. But it's still super great. The portions are super big and I'm sure many people could turn a single bowl into 2 meals. They also add a small lentil soup on the side which is really nice. Overall, can't complain with the price / value of this place. Great spot for some filling mediterranean.

Got a bowl with pretty much everything in it except for olives. This is like Chipotle but Mediterranean food. It was pretty good and obviously fast. Was quite filling since I finished the entire bowl. Came with lentil soup also.

Came here for dinner yesterday and really enjoyed it! Sunday evening so there was no wait, staff were nice and filled a good amount of food. I got the chicken shawarma bowl and I really liked it, love that you can pack lots of toppings and get a lot of flavor. We also got falafel bowl and the pita bread and both were good, and we also have leftovers!! The lentil soup that comes with it is also really good. The strawberry lemonade and mint lemonade were also really yummy and refreshing. Good amount of seating as well and clean space.

The chicken shawarma was perfectly seasoned and juicy, and the falafel was super crispy and fresh--just how it should be. Great quality, fast service, and everything tasted authentic and well-prepared. Definitely coming back!

Came back here for second time and ordered chicken shawarma again, this time with turmeric rice and i like it much better than couscous as rice was fluffy. Also customer service was better as she was being helpful. I would come gain if I want to eat quick and healthy meal !

A chain where you can order things similar to how you would in Chipotle. This location was quite empty, so we were able to quickly order our food. Everything about the food was really fresh, delicious, and satisfying. Honestly nothing to complain about. They even give you lentil soup! It's such an easy and healthy meal that I can see myself coming back quite often.

Social media strikes again…read more.. I came across a reel on IG featuring Iraklis. The food looked intriguing and scrumptious...in other words FIRE! I would not have known about this place if it wasn't for the reel. I'm also not familiar with Syrian and Lebanese cuisine. Thought I'd give it a shot. Not the biggest of venues, it a bit small on the inside, they have few benches and tables outside. Parking wasn't an issue, plenty of spaces in the parking lot. The staff was very helpful and informative. This is a fast casual spot with table service. They do bring the food to you, but you can help yourself to everything else afterwards, is: water, sauces, napkins etc. #SyrianEats: WRAP: ~ SHAWARMA: Damascus style CHICKEN - 5/5 Absolutely DELISH!! Love the garlic spread that came on the side. The wrap was already tasty enough, but somehow it was even tastier with the Garlic spread. Even the fries that came with it were spectacular! That drizzle pomegranate molasses... just DELISH!! This was one of the best wraps I had Stateside. Actually the best! PLATE: ~ MANSAF - 5/5 The Lamb shank was excellent as well! Tender fall of the bone with flavor galore, and the butter sauce was amazing as well...delish! The rice that came with the Lamb shank was OK. It was probably good, but the flavor profile didn't stand up to the rest of the food. I thought it could use more flavor, but that just me nitpicking... 4.5 ***** rounded up to 5***** for me This food here is amazing. I'll be back...

The restaurant has been under new ownership for about a month. I was greeted right away and quickly seated. I wanted to order the chicken and beef tenderloin combo, but I was told it wasn't available--even though both items were available individually. That was a little confusing. I ended up ordering the beef tenderloin. It was cooked well done, although no one asked how I wanted it prepared. I would have preferred medium. To start, I ordered the baba ghanoush, which was delicious. They also brought out a huge basket of fresh, homemade bread served with balsamic vinegar and olive oil--definitely one of the highlights of the meal. For my entrée, I skipped the rice and requested double vegetables. Instead, I received double salad. While everything tasted great, for a $36 entrée I was hoping for extra grilled vegetables like cauliflower rather than more salad. Overall, the food was very good, and I'd come back. The restaurant has plenty of seating both inside and on the back patio, TVs throughout, a full bar, and a nice selection of craft beers on tap. It has a welcoming atmosphere and is worth checking out. The staff was friendly, the manager (a lady) was very nice and gave me a small sample of a tomato pico looking item and told me to try it.

The portion size was generous; a single person won't be able to finish it with just three breads. It was very filling, we took back home the leftover and enjoyed it later with some rotis. They have another version of this- "kachu" with runny eggs instead of grated eggs.. well thought option! Volcano egg biryani- The dish is as interesting as its name suggests. The base is an omelette, and the rice is flavorful with bell peppers, finely chopped veggies, and aromatic spices. The center is with a tomato-based curry. What's challenging is if you're unfamiliar with Turkish breakfasts - the menu is very confusing as you're not quite sure what everything else. You order at the counter and pay and then go to the dining area to get your free tea. Unfortunately the guy behind the counter had no interest in explaining anything to us and it was apparent with his attitude - not the friendliest nor welcoming. But we decided to go for it and got the Nahita Special which basically had mostly everything. The things we loved: The cheese Borek, I wouldn't mind trying the spinach one if we come back here. Huge fan of their Pida bread which is unlimited - you can get more at the counter when you want more. OH and the Turkish tea is unlimited as well. unfortunately I am not familiar with the best way to prepare or get my own Turkish tea? They had some made and some you got from the machine... tons of sugar cubes... Will stick with ordering coffee next time. We also loved the different cheeses paired with different breads, honey and that homemade jam!! SO GOOD... you can make up any tasty bite you want which I think is the nice thing about the turkish breakfast - you create your own bite each and everytime!! It's fun to try different combinations but I will say I love the salty and sweet combo so either feta cheese with jam or honey on the different breads was my favorite bite. What I didn't care for was the Shaksuka - I've had this dish before at other places and usually it's more flavorful with more eggs - this was bland runny eggs in a dish. Not my favorite and I wouldn't choose this again. And reading some other reviews the eggs with sausage didn't sound like a hit either so am thinking maybe we skip getting any egg dishes from here. I think now that I know more about the dishes I can maybe be more selective but overall it's not inexpensive but worth trying at least once.

Jubba is serving up some of the best food i've ever had. As a newbie to somali food, I am now hooked. we came in on a friday around 6:15 and there was a steady group of people enjoying their food. we ordered at the counter and took a seat outside to enjoy the weather 1 Sambusa 1 chicken wrap 1 beef plate the sambusa arrived first and initially I thought Samosa in my head. But the sambusa has a better structure, holding its shape after multiple bites. the Dough is softer but still crispy. it came with beef , chilies and other vegetables. so so good. the perfect appetizer for us. it came with a spicy green sauce that seemed to be the common sauce for every dish then the stars of the show. The sizzling hot beef plate served with veggies, rice and a salad was unbelievable. add on a lemon and some more greens sauce and you're in for a treat. the rice alone was so flavorful and it tasted like there was meat drippings on top. the beef was so tender and fell apart in 1 bite. I was blown away with the dish the chicken wrap... man. I'm not sure what kind of bread, pita was used but it was fantastic. a huge wrap with lettuce, onion chicken, sauce and other veggies. It was so messy and hard to eat with your hands so we resorted to eating with a fork and knife. Unreal. Unreal. massive portions again which are a theme here. But holy smokes this was so good. The chicken has a nice char, but is also juicy and saucy. the spongy pita neutralizes the bombardment of flavor from the meat, and the veggies compliment everything with some crunch and texture. Service was great and very helpful. They were extremely friendly and a delight to talk with. We will be back 5/5

It's a nice cozy restaurant near the Chenoywyth VTA train station in San Jose on the train side. My brother and his friend have been going here for maybe twenty years. The food is tasty, the rice has a nice flavor, and the chicken has onions and other vegetables with some spices with which I wasn't able to identify. They offer a chai tea without milk, it was sweet and very flavorful. I also did takeout and ordered a goat dish with rice for my mom at home. She also enjoys eating this dish when she comes here with my brother. I would definitely come here again.
