I was locked out of a house for a dog that I was taking care of. Daniel answered the phone on a Saturday and came out within 30 minutes. Originally it was supposed to be 20 but he was stuck in traffic and contacted me promptly to let me know. It took him 2 minutes to get me in. He even called the owner of the house to make sure it was clear to do so. I tried calling other locksmiths but they didn't work the weekend or they were priced twice as much as Daniel. He was also extremely friendly. read more

I was in a bind - tenants moved out of my rental, not sure if I had the correct key, I lived 2 1/2 hours away, and in a few days I was to show the house - on a SUNDAY, when some would charge more!!! I called Daniel, who was understanding of the situation. He assured me that if I called him 1/2 hour before I reached the area, he would make sure to be available to meet me if my key did not fit. I doubt you would find that type of service offered by anyone else. Daniel discussed what options would be available in terms of rekeying, etc. The prices he quoted were very reasonable. I have been quoted more from other locksmiths when keys have been lost. If you ever need any type of locksmith service, I highly recommend you call Daniel. I found him to be professional, courteous, and friendly. He really goes the extra mile for you. read more

Daniel was a great communicator, came to my house early in the morning before work and got me back in the car and out the door in 20 min. He removed the locked security club and created two new car keys by using my license and registration to get info from the dealer and create a new one. He saved us quickly from a frustrating situation! I totally recommend his services. read more

Daniel was great! Just moved into a new spot in Oakland and the deadbolt on the back-door got stuck and we couldn't open the door. We didn't want to bug the owner so we called Daniel to help us out, he was fast to respond, awesome, and surprisingly quiet while wrestling the deadbolt out of the door so we didn't disturb the owner upstairs. He even hooked us up with a little discount after replacing the lock and discovering some other problems with the door. Mellow dude with a cool accent if you wanna be all chatty while he's trying to work:-) read more

I will never go to anyone else but Daniel if I need a locksmith. Communication was great and he unlocked my apartment while I was at work! The first question he asked me was "Are you in a safe enough place to wait while I finish up my current job?" That was so kind of him to ask! I texted him a picture of the discount deal I bought on Yelp and he applied the credit! Very happy. Very seamless situation. Thank you Daniel for your help. Prompt, very reasonably priced, and a really nice guy. We can't recommend Daniel highly enough. It was 6 days ago that I arrived home from work, smile on my face, and a pep in my step. Upon approaching my door I reached for my keys, which I always keep in my right side pocket, but to my dismay, they were not there! "Why do you torture me, Spaghetti Monster in the Sky?," I cried, "What crime have I committed to deserve such cruel torture?!" At that moment, my neighbor opened his door and told me to keep it down, as his book club was in session. I apologized, but continued my cries in an inaudible whisper, while promising myself that nothing would get in between me and my leftovers that were still chilling in the fridge. I reached for my smart phone, not smartphone, as my phone is far smarter than most, and asked it to fetch me the finest locksmith in all the land (East Bay). Many options were presented to me, but something struck a chord when I saw "Daniel The Locksmith" listed as a choice. Perhaps it was my affinity for Biblical names, or my desire to legally change my middle name from Michael to "The," but one thing was certain, I had found my locksmith. I called Daniel, the locksmith, who was not only friendly, but alerted me to the fact that he had a locksmith on my street...AT THAT VERY MOMENT! Lucky, you say? No. I say destiny... Within a matter of minutes, Devin The Locksmith arrived at my apartment building, dismounted his motorcycle, and looked up at the sky with a stare that only comes from hours of lock picking, door jamming, and other locksmith related activities. His moustache was red as blood, much like my own, and I knew right then and there this truly was destiny. Aside from his dexterity, Devin was also quite skilled in the art of Locksmith Humor, a comedic genre that was unfamiliar to me. Oh the fun we had! Laughing over keys, knobs, and current events, all while Devin drilled out my lock and got me into my home. The real excitement came not upon entering the apartment, but picking out new door knobs for my humble abode. I followed Devin downstairs to the Locksmith-cycle to view his wares, when I was blinded by 2 objects so bright, I thought the Spaghetti Monster in the Sky had come for revenge. No monster was present, but I was given two golden Schlages as my replacement knobs...to describe these locks as regal would be an understatement. Devin attached the two golden Schlages with ease, I paid with a credit card, and we said our goodbyes. I still wonder what exciting locksmithing conversations we could have had if his motorcycle had a sidecar, but I have plenty of chances everyday to lock myself out again. Best in Class and Service, Super #1! read more
