Incredibly responsive and great locksmith. Called on Friday and needed two house locks re-keyed. Made the appointment for Monday and the locksmith was prompt in his communication and arrival. Very fair price and great work. 10/10 would recommend. Thank you! read more

Amazing, showed up in 15 minutes and replaced my mailbox lock like it was nothing. Highly professional service.

I would definitely go back to him! Hassan, who is a business owner of Max locksmith, was so professional! He gave me an estimated arrival time and an estimated completion time, and both were much faster than expected. He had just finished several jobs, but his customer service was truly excellent. Great service with an excellent guy! read more

Hasaan was fantastic! He responded really quick, he was straight to the point, no surprises & honest. He got to my house and simply unlocked my door and even fixed my doorknob. I saved his number just in case someone would need his service because I will 100% recommend his service to anyone. Very nice guy too! Thank you again! I should have called you hours ago to save me time. read more

Max was incredibly attentive and efficient at reprogramming my key fob. I would hire him in a heartbeat to do any of my projects.

I cannot express how happy I am with this service. I called and got a quote for making a new smart key. I wasn't clear and there was a little confusion-all my fault. He came out in about an hour and realized my mistake. He asked for an additional $100 which was totally reasonable considering there would be much more work. The process took about an hour. And he was so friendly and kind. He gave us a valet key as a back-up since we didn't have one. Of course 2 hours later we found the original key. But all is good and totally worth the money and time. Thank you and seriously he is an amazing Locksmith. Highly recommend read more

Quality work and flexible meeting up. Ended up choosing him because he's pretty local. The plastic housing of my old car key broke off, so brought in a blank I got from Amazon to get cut. Instead of copying an original key I had on me, he ended up using the key code from the car so it could be cut precisely to spec. He knowledgeably answered all my questions. In and out within 10 minutes. I was so impressed with how clean the cut was, I spent five minutes in the car afterwards taking a good photo to capture the smooth details. I would recommend and work with him again in the future! read more

Hassan is a sweet sweet man who came and helped us opening our safe that has long lost the key, we use it as fireproof for our important documents, it's a great relief that we get to see them again. He also taught us how we can reimburse the expenses from our insurance company that I had no idea of. Thank you, Hassan! I feel much safer knowing you are close by. read more

The owner came out on the same day as I requested, he's very professional, polite and fast. Pricing is more than fair and he went above and beyond to even offer me a free duplication key. Would definitely call him again next time when we have any lock requests. read more

My husband drove off with our primary car key atop the car, losing it forever and leaving us with a technically functional but very janky backup key as our only option. We got multiple quotes to program and cut a second key + fully program our existing key, and Hassan's was the lowest by a meaningful margin. Not only that, but he was an excellent communicator, quick, reliable and an all-around delightful person. I have him saved in my phone now and though I hope not to have any more key issues for some time, I will absolutely be calling him for any needs going forward! read more

Extremely nice person with great flexibility and really good reliability, and has lots of hospital. Gave me a great deal on the service I had requested and did and an excellent job with it. read more

Max Locksmith - Car - Keys & Locksmiths Near Me - Richmond, California

I had an issue with a multipoint locking system on an exterior patio door. Hassan came out and made many attempts to open the lock. Got pretty far too but the center lock was simply jammed and immobile. We were able to work together and get the very heavy door off its hinges and remove the broken lock. It was quite a process and I am very thankful for his effort and expertise. I highly recommend Hassan and Max Locksmith! read more

I requested a quote from Max Locksmith and very quick he replied back with very good prices! The best prices I've encountered with a locksmith. Apart from that the quality of service is top notch. Took care of my request in less than 10 minutes. He even helped my dad out with a set of new keys. Very friendly and kind guy. He also helped me jump start my car which had a low battery. Will be contacting him again for my future locksmith needs. I recommend 100%!! High quality work! read more

Hassan was not honest with me and scammed me out of over $200. I needed to know if my issue with my trunk not opening was related to the key or to the electrical system of the car. He could have done the diagnostic first to determine that, but instead essentially forced me to accept him making me a new key and as a "bonus" he would do the diagnostic.l afterwards. Turns out it wasn't an issue with the key, but he got his money either way. Please avoid this man. read more

I've known Hassan for many years, and it's rare to find someone more reliable. He was an excellent mechanic for years before deciding to start his own locksmith business. Recently, I had a tenant move out, and Hassan helped install new smart locks and rekey the entire unit--about nine new keys in total. Beyond my rental property, I frequently rely on his services at my auto body shop, where we often encounter issues with car door locks, ignition keys, and ignitions themselves. Hassan is a highly skilled and talented professional, and working with him is always a great experience. While I wish he had never left the automotive field, his expertise as a locksmith is undeniable. read more

Max Locksmith - My new key - Keys & Locksmiths Near Me - Richmond, California

My car key broke when trying to turn on the ignition. Looked on Yelp and saw people recommended Max. I called him & he picked up right away and gave me a quote. Arrived in my house in 30 minutes, super friendly and very transparent. It took him 30-45 minutes and my key is working great now. I would recommend calling him if you're looking for a key replacement. Price was on the lower side compared to other locksmiths I've called in my area (Richmond based). 5/5 service!! Thank you Max! read more

Max really knows his stuff. I don't think anyone else would have figured out that my Mercedes key problem had to do with my sunroof and definitely not that quick. read more

Very friendly guy. He went above and beyond with the work. He showed me that my specific vehicle (dodge promaster) is very difficult to program, and this guy did NOT give up. He is a very curious individual and will find a solution. He tried and tried and I was beside him watching. He is a genius and very kind dude. After a long fought battle with programing and coding he tried the keyless fob and IT WORKED! I've been having issues with this car because it came without a key for and to open the side door I had to open with physical key on drivers door, open it and press a button on the dash to unlock the side door. Going around the van to finally open the side door. As a contractor, that wasted a lot of my day. I can safely say he made my craft more efficient and the reason why I went for him was because he gave me the best quote price out of the other companies I inquired with. Thank you so very much! read more

Hassan was great! He came over in less than 30 minutes and figured out my car issues right away! I'm so happy I contacted him.
