Found a GREAT full mobile locksmith service with literally a powerhouse of a workshop in his van - (looks like that van could get you out of - or into - anything!) I imagine he could do most anything - owner operated, smart, professional, honest, competent - was at my home in San Rafael faster than anyone, 30 minutes, fair price and better price than most, licensed, bonded, genuine parts, etc. I called 6 places - Trans Bay (no they don't do cars), Toyota of Marin (their referred guy was more expensive), some took hours to call back, and top ones in Yelp were more expensive too (up to $450). He was right in the middle at $350 for genuine Toyota parts electronic fob with custom key cut onsite that inserts into fob. (Beware, cheaper $280 quotes were off brand parts, he's not.) Our vintage patio door lock broke. Tommy was in training for a week and couldn't come to fix it. He referred us to a colleague, and Daniel couldn't fix it. So Daniel referred me to Reed and they couldn't fix it. A third Yelp recommended locksmith couldn't fix it either so we waited for Tommy. Monday, he fixed it in a jiffy. The man has a workshop inside his van. He can do anything except maybe cook for you. Honestly, he is a magician and can fix it!!!
