Quick, highly responsive and respectful. I needed some service on the doors and Max did a great job. Not only was he communicative with me, he was also kind and chatted with me while he worked. If i can give him more stars i would as my dog was freaking out on him for stranger danger. But he was calm and collected while respecting my dogs' space. He even stopped to talk to my dog explaining he just wants to walk past him. That is a HUGE plus for me! He was in and out in 30 mins. Thank you past reviewers. I chose this company because of the great reviews and they were accurate. My problems were a front door and a file cabinet that needed rekeying. Max the owner was very nice on the phone, arranged a time to come over that day and gave me a general fee to start from. He had no problem in rekeying the front door but the file cabinet because of its age presented a special challenge that required multiple unforeseen hours, a trip to the hardware store and additional visits to complete. I am in awe of Max because his demeaner never changed. He didn't give up until the job was completed and didn't charge me more for all the time he put in. Thank you Max. Locked myself out of my apartment at about 8:15 pm on a Saturday night. Max said he would be there in about 30 minutes, and he actually was! The whole thing took less than an hour - from the time I called to the time he unlocked my door. Max was super nice and sympathetic and got my door open very quickly. I mentioned that I was going to make a copy of my key the next day, and he offered to make me one on the spot for free! The price was totally reasonable for my dumb mistake and Max made the experience a lot less miserable than it would otherwise have been. I had Max rekey four locks in my house and remove an old padlock. He was responsive and easy to work with. He consulted with me on a possible color mismatch for a new cylinder and replaced the one what wouldn't have matched with one that matched perfectly. Max is a one man operation and you get the attention and conscientiousness you might expect from the owner of the business. Max was the only one of three businesses I reached out to that responded promptly, and he was able to do the work the next business day. Installed two deadbolt locks to interior doors which required a lot of drilling and sawing. Very friendly, sincere, and clearly an expert at his craft.
