I lost the key fob to my 2007 Prius. I called several locksmiths for pricing. Tommy's told me $350. I called Pick-a-lock and they texted me $200, but when I said OK and sent my address and asked how long before they could come out, they never responded. I called Triple A and they said they couldn't come out for a lost key fob, but would refund me $50 for locksmith services. I filled out an online form for KB locksmith, never heard back. I called this place and he asked if I had an all black fob or one with a silver Toyota symbol on it. Mine was all black. He said $280 and could come in an hour and 15 minutes. Sounded great to me. He arrived promptly, even found his way to my parking lot where the car was. He has a van with a little shop inside, very well prepared. It took him about 50 minutes which he said was longer than usual but he got it done. Fob works perfectly. When I told him about the $350 price I was quoted from Tommy's, he said that's if my fob had had the silver logo. Tommy's never asked about the colors of the fob. I would highly recommend them. I did a lot of research and now you other Yelpers can read my experience and save yourself some time and money. And if you have Triple A, go online and download a form to send in with your receipt to get the refund. read more

Darrien literally saved my life!!!! He was able to open my car and create a master key from scratch, without a copy! He was super chill and had great response time. He did what the dealership couldn't do for me, provide me with service. He was prices WAY, below dealership price and had everything to do the job. Thanks Man! read more

Great locksmith service! Joe came to the Bart station and cut a key to my car right then & there. smooth transaction :) read more

I tried to get a smart key copied which needed to be cut and programmed. Of course I was shopping around and calling other locksmiths in the area. I was first quoted for $140 and told them I'd give them a call back. I called back the next day for the same exact service and they quoted me for $190. I mentioned that I was quoted for less and they still chose not to grant it. This type of inconsistency is a horrible business practice. read more

This place came across my google search for local locksmiths. I was skeptical in the beginning after calling two other locksmith places that were rude, unprofessional and over priced. This place has reasonable prices and are very flexible with their clients schedule. Joe came in the afternoon, he was quick, professional and skilled. Would recommend them to friends and family. read more

Locked my one and only key in the trunk of my Jetta and knew I was screwed. Spoke with a locksmith who told me that the only way to get a new key was to go thru the dealer. Coincidently I was parked next to a dealership. Was told a key would take 3 days but I needed to show my registration to prove I was the owner. And where does one keep the registration? In the glove box-in my locked car. Just about to surrender to my hours of trying when Joe called. Poor thing had just left the north bay and was already home however he was there and key was made within an hours time. Joe not only knew exactly what to do but he did it quickly and was as kind as could be. Called my insurance company as well as the towing company and recommended that they use him-hands down! Thanks Joe. See you in BRC someday!! read more

Lost the only key to a 1998 Audi A6, was told by the dealership that I would have to have the car towed in to have a key made and have it programmed. I was looking down the barrel of a $500 mistake. Needless to say I felt helpless, until I called KeyMaster Locksmith. Not only could he come to me and make me a new key but it would be for far less, but thankfully I was able to get the key code from a dealership (which I had to fight for, but that is a whole other story in it's self and a real bad review coming soon to a dealership near you). End of story, $60. Thank you KeyMaster. read more

Joe was very helpful. My car got broken into and my ignition was messed with leaving me helpless and unable to start my car. Joe literally came to the rescue and fixed my car within 45 minutes. Impressive. He was thorough, friendly and great to work with. I would easily go to him again - just hope I don't have to ;). Good pricing too. read more

....add this to another great review for Key Master Locksmith. After calling at least 6 other locksmiths that I found here on yelp, and just got voicemails (and 1 full mailbox....gah), my call got answered, a time was set up (same day!) and he arrived right on time, fantastic. Just replaced a deadbolt on a front door but it was broken open so a little extra time had to be spent, he was gracious and quick, couldn't ask for anything more. Price seemed fair, don't really have anything to compare it to, but I'm happy with the service and would recommend them to anyone in the San Pablo area. Thanks! read more

Called Joe to program my keyless remote and he was able to do it the next day and it was done in less than 10 minutes!!! Saved me over $100. Thanks again! read more

Search no more and this is the one you should call if you need key or lock service. I call Joe and he give me same day service and come within hours. My side gate was locked and we don't have a key, Joe cut out the old lock and changed a new one with 2 new keys that he has in his van. He is fast, efficient, knowledgeable and charging reasonable price. I will recommend him to all my realtor colleagues in my office and my clients for any future service needed. I am happy with the job and give him 5 stars. read more

This the best locksmith in Napa! Thank for making opening my house when it was cold frozen out side but you drove fast and good me inside my house ! This is a good company to do business with . Thank Robert read more

What would I have done without Joe??! I give him the highest of recommendations. I had a very strange problem with a foreign key in my ignition. Joe was an incredible problem solver, gave me several choices and ended up - with incredible persistence, skill and tenacity - solving the problem in a very short period of time. The work Joe completed in a day would have taken my dealer 1 week to complete and he did it for 1/4 the price that the dealer would have charged! He is a kind man who is a perfectionist and entirely trustworthy too! read more

I lost the keys to my car and then called around to several locksmiths in my area and they quoted me between $250 and $450 to re-key my lock and said the job would take over 2-3 hours, I said to myself come on people this is a Nissan not a Mercedes-Benz, but what do I know. Working my way through yelp, I stumbled across Joe @ KeyMaster Locksmith, he came out the same day and was able to do the job for a more affordable price and it took him only 30 minutes, not hours. Thanks Joe for being prompt, honest, professional and getting me out of a jam. I appreciate your work and will be contacting you again in the future. read more

It was my 3rd weekend of 10 training to be a yoga teacher and first of all I parked in a private parking lot and locked everything including my car keys and the materials I needed for class in my car! After a very lucky google search I frantically called Key Master and was warmly greeted by the dispatcher who informed me of who I would be expecting and how long the wait was. As promised, 30 minutes later, Joe arrived, he was very professional and kind which helped to ease my embarrassment for being so absent minded! He was skilled and fast and had my car open in just a few minutes saving me from a ticket and got me to my class on time! I would highly recommend them to friends and family and anyone who appreciates great service for a fair price. read more
