Don't not get your keys fobs replaced at armor locksmith services that shop screwed up two of my car computers and could not get the new keys programmed to my car. I had to tow my car home that night and have it work on at the nissan dealership they kept my car for 10 days. They had to replace the two computers and key fob. I ended up paying out if pocket $5000 and now im having trouble with this same locksmith not returning calls or email. My insurance is still trying to make contact but no luck. read more

I'm very grateful to this extremely organized, well put-together locksmith shop along Washington in Point Richmond. I own one of those nice, sturdy bike racks that can accommodate multiple bikes... you know, the solid beam of steel that stretches like a giraffe's neck or swan away from the trunk so as not to scratch the vehicle. Only thing is, when having moved back from the Pac NW, I had a little boo-boo with the key that locks the bikes in. With the weather having been so gorgeous (save this past week's) in the Bay, I was inspired to fix that lock. They diagnosed what sort of 2-sided key was necessary and turnaround time was just a few hours. Friendly Filipinos, accommodating, and the damage was kept low (under $50). Wish I could rate this lower but I brought my car key into this shop for the battery replacement and he gave me back my key with it not being able to shut leading to the inside button to unlock my car falling out and losing it then telling me i have to pay $5 for them to put a new screw to be able to shut it and recommend be to someone in Berkeley to take care of of it read more

I hate sharing bad reviews but I feel obligated to do so in order to save someone else trouble. The service here was terrible, we were charged $165 for service in which our problem was not resolved by them after two visits and multiple contacts. The technician was not capable to do the job, and I got the run around from the office manager Richard who blew me off and then was super rude and condescending to me on top of it when I complained. I wish I had checked Yelp before calling them as now I see they have a bad rating. I can confirm this is accurate. Our HOA recommended a reputable locksmith who fixed the problem easily within half an hour. Don't waste your money or time with Armor. I'll be reporting to Better Business Bureau as well. read more

My wife and just moved into a new home and needed to have a lock replaced that was securing a crawlspace through our bathroom. The technician shattered a panel of glass in our bathroom which in turn caused damage to two other panels. Armour manager Richard Gomes is absolutely horrible to deal with. Had them replace a mailbox lock last May then had to call and said it's not working sent a service tec to replace then called again around Christmas time to tell him it was broke again then thinking in Around that time called again and he said was super busy and couldn't coordinate a time so said no worries and would call back. Called back and again said yes will get to it but never returned call. Finally called yesterday and said he could somewhat remember our conversation. Tried to explain and he hung up on me 3 times called again and at that point told him how extremely rude he was. Then said he would send someone out to look at it but would charge again another 163.00 I said fine then re thought this called him back and told him do not send anyone out as I was not going to give him any more money. Had another local locksmith come out said reason why it kept breaking is the lock on the inside was too small so key was not connecting. So now will call corporate as I should be refund for putting the incorrect lock in.Have never dealt with such a rude person in my entire life. Carol read more

Excellent service! I called around 8 am, and was told the technician would be at my door between 9 and 11 am. He showed up at 10:45 am, quickly diagnosed the problem (a worn out deadbolt lock) and replaced it. The whole business took 45 minutes. The charges were reasonable. Armor Locksmith has both the worst customer service and prices. I purchased high security locks from them and the owner Alan never finished the job. He also does not return phone calls. Both the maker of the locks and the regional sales person have tried to reach Alan to get assistance but to no avail. They were great to sell me the locks and have me pay, but terrible to complete the work and provide any service. read more
