the staff person was amazing she was kind efficient and knowledgeable l. she assisted me in getting a new key fob made for a key that looked like he one in the photo. she wasn't able to program it w. the buttons but she works with another shop location that can. she programmed my key for the engine and was very detailed oriented. support local business I will be coming here for all of my key needs. a copy of a key was $6 a progrmamed key was $90 she charged me $95.

Large key selection.

As you can imagine it was an emotional time. Upon trying to enter, we found the lock on the back door wasn't working and we weren't able to enter. Fearing that because we weren't the owners, a locksmith would not help us, we contacted the realtor who was able to provide your company with the necessary documentation. Your technician, Edgar, was dispatched and arrived quickly. He was able to diagnose the problem, repair the lock and open the door. I'm sure that to you, that is his job description but to us, he was a life saver. We had driven 2 1/2 hours to get there. The purpose of this long email is to commend Edgar for his expertise and kindness. He worked quickly all the while explaining the problem. Once he had repaired the lock, he spent the time to go over the fine points of the locking mechanism. Above and beyond repairing the lock, Edgar's kindness and positive attitude made this difficult day so much better. Thank you.

Warning: Lockology Locksmith (Bay Area) lacks T1N SKREEM programming capability / predatory…read morepractices I apparently need to post a warning to T1N owners . My 2006 Sprinter threw the"Start Error" code after i had a clueless locksmith (#1) clone a spare key. Knowing it was a " rolling-code mismatch between the ECU and the SKREEM/WSP module" , I called Lockology (locksmith #2) and explicitly stated that I needed on-site module resynchronization/EEPROM pairing. They sent out a tech named Ori who clearly didn't have the diagnostic tooling or the knowledge required for "offline variant coding" on the older K-line Mercedes network. Instead of admitting he couldn't do the job, he just cut a mechanical key , acknowledged my start error didn't go away , threatened to CALL THE COPS if the full quote to fix my Start Error wasn't paid (originally 560$..) , played the victim crying that he had been here longer than he planned only to be compassionate offering a 10% discount .$450 (Invoice #26411) .. You talk about a 4' tall snake. Big surprise, the Start Error is still flashing, and Sprinter still completely immobilized. Dispatch and tech took advantage of the situation knowing full well a physical key cut wouldn't resolve a hard immobilizer code loop. Save your money . What these guys offer together with 25 cents might get you a cup of coffee.

By 8:45 PM, we were still in the parking lot and the key was not working. Because I had a flight to catch early the next morning, I suggested that we stop and put everything back together. However, he encouraged me to allow him to continue programming the key. He told me if he put the pieces back my car would be loud and the alarm would keep setting off. He finally completed the work on Monday, and my father picked up my car on my behalf since I was out of the country. When I returned and got my car back, there were components that had not been reassembled. In addition, new issues had developed: 3 of 4 windows no longer roll down, and the driver's side door no longer locks properly. I now have to lock the car by opening the rear door and manually pushing down the lock. I attempted to replace the window fuses, which temporarily restored function, but the fuse now shorts every time the windows are used. The driver's door continues to malfunction, never fixed that part. He was very nice and clearly works hard; however, I wish that if he was unable to program the key, he had communicated that upfront rather than continuing to work on my vehicle. This process resulted in several hours of lost time, significant expense, and additional damage to my car. I have now paid $740 for this service and will need to go to the dealership to address the issues caused, with no way of knowing what the additional repair costs will be. I have been told by him that I need to travel to Hayward or Oakland, but I live in Sunnyvale. As a single mother of two, it is extremely difficult to find the time to make these trips, especially after already spending days previously waiting while the issue was unresolved. As a business owner, taking payment for work that resulted in further damage rather than a solution has made this an unfortunate and highly inconvenient experience.
