on time fixed what needed to be fixed plus bonus door repair!! He was very friendly and helpful

Super responsive. Answered all my questions over the phone. Can assist with motorcycle keys as well!

There is nothing worse than the moment of sheer horror when you pull your door closed behind you and realize that your keys are on the other side. In my case, it was compounded by the fact that I'd locked myself out the week before - and had to go to my office to get my spare keys - which I was absolutely sure I would have a chance to get copied and leave several copies in different places. But of course I hadn't got around to it, so both sets of keys were inside my house and I was not. In those moments of humiliation and despair, you need someone to answer the phone and come help you out. Two Wheeled Locksmith was my third call - one didn't answer and one was out of town - but he'll always be my first choice from now on (although of course I'm never going to lock myself out again, I swear). Fast, efficient, charming, friendly, offered accurate estimate and price options, and gave me some helpful advice for overcoming the problem in the future. read more

Caveat: I didn't actually use this locksmith but I was calling around, and they were busy but gave me the number of a few other places nearby. Super appreciate this as many other businesses wouldn't do the same, so just wanted to give kudos to this business. read more

OMG! I don't know what would of happened if Devin didn't come to our rescue! My coworkers car keys got stolen in Oakland :-(! In one of my projects I felt horrible for him! We always take care of our employees! I soon as I heard this I reached out to a couple lock smith the first one responded really quick and never sent a technician!!! We wasted more than half of day waiting for them! At around noon I found two wheeled locksmith!! Devin didn't answer my call but texted me right away! I was a bit sketchy at first due to my experience with the first locksmith that I reached to! I constantly kept texting Devin even tho he confirmed multiple times he was going to go help us, I couldn't help feeling anxious. I even called him but Devin was so patience with me he understood my worry! For the 500th time (lol) he reassure me he was going to go to the site in 20mins and 20mins later my coworker confirmed Devin had arrived!!! Devin ended up replacing the ignition free of charge and took my guy to the store with him to Keep him safe (it was dark already) Devin grow up in that area and was concerned for my guy standing in the street on his own! My heart fills up with happiness thinking of everything Devin did to keep my guy safe! Devin worked until 8pm just to make sure my coworker got home safe! I can't thank Devin enough for going the extra mile!! This is putting your heart into a business!!! I'll definitely be recommending his services to everyone I know!! read more

I recently contacted Devin to arrange for two locks to be rekeyed. This was not an urgent call, but in the meantime, I locked myself out of a separate unit at our house with a smart lock. I texted Devin that I needed his help that same day to do both of the things and he was onsite within an hour. Once he arrived, he quickly assessed the situation, provided a written estimate and got to work. After he gained access to the second unit, I asked him to explain how he managed it, in case I had the same issue again. He spent time explaining his troubleshooting process with the smart lock and I feel more prepared to deal with this in the future now. He then rekeyed the two doors. Not only did he perform great work, he was very personable and explained a few things about the doors that will be helpful for future maintenance (how to adjust the hinges to set the door square again as needed). I am very happy with his work and would not hesitate to contact him again if the need arrises in the future. read more

Needed a locksmith ASAP and they showed up very quickly. Excellent customer service! Would definitely recommend.

Great to work with, knows his work and treats it like a craft. This is an easy recommendation to make - Devin is a solid choice.

I needed two exterior doors re-keyed, and Devin was able to help out. First, he was early to our appt! He took a good look at our doors and made some suggestions to help them hang better (less stress on the locks). He was fast, pleasant, and informative. His charge was also reasonable, for something so important. Thanks! read more

He worked incredibly hard to get our damaged cartridge lock repaired. Impressed with his skill and diligence--he got it done even through he had to reshape lock parts by hand filing and fabricating! Showed us how the lock worked too. Really recommend for your lock needs. read more

Got locked out of my apartment. Devin was very quick to respond and had me back inside so fast I was still able to make my dinner reservation on time! I also learned from Devin how to adjust the door so that something like that wouldn't happen again in addition to letting me know how to submit for reimbursement through AAA for the call. Really friendly and easy to work with. I will be getting some new keys made in the near future with him. I never would have thought getting locked out could be so free of stress and frustration!! Thanks Devin!!! read more

Devin was super helpful... helped my solve my problem with just a phone/text consultation. Very knowledgable; very nice!

We love 2 wheeled lock ! He's our lock hero & has been so great with our tenants & our building in Jack London Square. Devin is updating our building for us as we move new tenants in & simplifying our complex key system. He is always honest & fair with his service costs & after using several other key companies we feel very fortunate to have 2 Wheel lock helping us. read more

Wow, that was unexpected. Devin knows his locks and was able to fit us in right away before his weekend. We live in 1926 house with older locks and Devin was able to take apart our broken lock, fix it and show us how it happened and how to prevent it from happening again. He also advised us on another lock and our door which is warped. Amazing attention to detail and on top of the technical knowledge and skills, he's a nice person which matters to us. Will absolutely hire him again. read more

We were in a bind when we had a new door installed but the lock was placed incorrectly. Called Devon and he responded promptly. He came to the house and was professional. Devin came to my door rescue within an hour or so of my first long text to him on a Friday night. I tried calling to request a simple job in my new home, but got a voice recording which stated to text them for a quicker response. I hung up and did exactly that and didn't get a response for 5 days. I tried calling again and got a text saying "sorry, I'm on a call right now" but they never tried calling or texting me back. The next day I texted that I hadn't received a call or text back and if they are too busy I would find someone else. An hour later, I got a text asking for my schedule the following week, which I immediately texted back. That was 3 days ago and I STILL haven't gotten a response. I will never use or recommend this business to anyone. read more

Devin was outstanding in providing excellent service. I called him after seeing him on Yelp and since he had a cancellation, he was at my front door ten minutes later. He helped me re-key three locks and gave lots of good advice. Friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, and an overall nice guy. Give him a call and you'll feel safe that a true professional did the job right. Thanks again Devin! read more

This guy is so great. First of all, you're not calling a dispatch, you get to speak directly with the owner and technician. Honestly I called him and he wasn't able to give me an exact time. So I went with another who did - didn't show up. And then another and they didn't call back. I circled back to Devin and he was so cool about it. This time he gave me a decent ETA, didn't over promise. Then called back and gave me a better ETA. When he arrived, he was really personable. Gave me a good deal since the others wanted to charge me way more. read more

When others couldn't make it, Devin did. I was running an errand go my business and got locked out of my work truck so I needed a pro to get me back on the road asap. My mother-in-law was in town recently and locked herself out of our house. I found Devin through Yelp, asked him to come to the house and let her in. He was very responsive, arriving quickly. As others have noted, Devin is very professional, courteous and he knows his craft. He got my mother-in-law back in the house in no-time. One point that I want to highlight about Devin is how kind he is. When he got the house, he greeted my mother-in-law, introduced himself and put her at ease - he made her feel very comfortable. I recommend that anyone with keying or locksmith issues contact Devin, not only because he's highly skilled, but because he'll treat you or your loved ones with kindness! read more

Honest, fast and expert. Great guy . Will use him again. He helped me create a new key for my lock after I lost it

Lost my only keys for my motorcycle and called Daven to rekey both the ignition and the gas tank locks. He is super friendly and showed up professionally with all the tools in his newly updated van. He also helped to fix the gas tank locks so that I can use the same key for both locks! On top of that, he definitely provides the best price around the Bay Area! read more

On my way home... have to pick up something for the office on my way... Then, like an idiot, I lock the keys in the car, which I don't realize until after I get out of the store. I looked on yelp and Devin had great reviews. And he was local!! Gave him a call and texted the address. Arrived in about 20 min and had me in my car within 2 min. Was a gentleman all the way. And especially being a female, his professionalism was very nice. Recommend him highly!!! read more

I have been using two wheel locksmith for 4 years at least. Managing a commercial building in Jack London, I have used Devins services regularly for emergency services, all times of day and night and regular lock changing after tenants move out. He has always been reliable, quick to respond. If there has ever been an issue, he has come back and fixed it immediately! He's great to work with, all our tenants love him, I know when I call him the job will get done, everytime!!! read more

Fast response, professional , honest and very reasonable price. He charged 50$ for service and 100$ for the work- unfortunately our french door was so complicated that it took him along time to fix it. He still charged for the work that he said instead of hours. Highly recommend. read more

No answer to phone or text on three attempts from Saturday morning 10:30am until 1:30pm. No ability to leave voice message. Odd 24/7 service. I had to call another service. Update: owner finally called and texted me back around 2:30pm. He had a family emergency. So I bumped up the review from 1 to 2 stars. Still, I would think a business could have outgoing message that they are closed today. From other Yelp reviews, I was looking forward to using Two Wheeled Locksmith. read more

If someone shows up to my home and does a good job for a reasonable price, I'm obviously going to be happy. But that's not what Devin did. Nope! He showed up to my home, did a GREAT job, explained the problem and fixed it AND more...whilst joking around with our kid and making him smile a ton. Our doorknob & lock work better than ever and kiddo keeps asking when the Motorcycle Superhero is coming back to visit! He fit us in same-day for a non-emergent issue. After hours and hours of fighting this lock ourselves DIY style, he swooped in and corrected everything (including replacing the whole mechanism with parts he had on hand) in just few minutes! Should we ever have another lockout issue...I wouldn't consider calling anyone else! If you're reading this review because you are locked out or have a broken doorknob mechanism like we did--just call him already! You've found your guy! read more

If you're in the East Bay and need a locksmith, you should absolutely use Devin. Here's why: 1: He's a laid back cool guy who is great to talk to. I feel good supporting his 1 man business. 2: His prices are the most reasonable I was able to find and his work is excellent. 3: He's timely, easy to communicate with (responds to texts right away), and generally provides a stress free service at a stressful time. Thanks Devin! read more

We had an immediate need to re-key our entire office, same day, and contacted Two Wheeled Locksmith. Amazing experience, timely and honest service does still exist in the Bay Area! Our call was answered immediately and we servicing began within an hour. Time was spent to explain what had to be done and all work was performed with kindness and respect. New keys were made right on the spot which was really helpful. The cost was a reasonable expectation for the work performed and on an emergency basis.
