So I stooped over the counter finally and asked him if he could help me. He was very gruff and asked what I wanted I told him I needed a key for my mailbox. He asked me to show me what he needed. I didn't know if he wanted me to come around the counter because he wasn't getting up. It didn't seem appropriate to go on the other side of the counter, so I stayed where I was and didn't know if he was being funny or what his issue was. And then I showed him the different parts to the box that I need and he said I would need a whole new lock to put into the box. So he gets up and gets the package of the set that I need. It shows a price on the package, but he said that's not the right price. I asked him so what is the right price and it was about a dollar more so. I said that's fine. I just wanted to get what I needed and leave at that point. Because he wasn't very pleasant at all. I told him I could pay with my debit card. So he had the machine in front of him and told me to tap my card which I did. Then I was surprised when he asked me for my pin number . Thank goodness, I wasn't intimidated and gave it to him. Instead, I leaned over Covered the number number area with my hand and put in my code myself. I just thought it was so odd and rude of him to ask me for my pin . I'll never go back there again. He seemed very bothered to have me in his shop, was so reluctant to get up from his stool, and it was very awkward when he asked me for my pin number.

I must've tried at least 3 times to get my keys made at Home Depot. All 3 times the keys didn't…read morework with their automated AND person operation of AN automated key maker. AND Home Depot couldn't make a special mailbox key. So I finally wised up to the idea of going to a REAL key maker/ smith, just the good ole days with father as a child. It's been so long, I wasn't sure that they even existed anymore. But here this place is. A throwback to the 1980s if you will. The place definitely has that run down feel where REAL people do REAL work fixing things. The gentleman who helped me appeared tired and ill but nonetheless he soldiered on with basically one hand made like 3 sets of keys for me. And they ALL work!!! [applause] These people use the good ole grinder and have hundreds and hundreds of stock key blanks. AND they are cheaper than Home Depot. Suffice it, I'll only be coming here from now on to make any keys!!! And you should too!!!!

Yesterday we were at my brother in law's home on Greenwood. He has had a stroke and hasn't been…read morethere for quite sometime and we were there to see what needed to be done. As you can imagine it was an emotional time. Upon trying to enter, we found the lock on the back door wasn't working and we weren't able to enter. Fearing that because we weren't the owners, a locksmith would not help us, we contacted the realtor who was able to provide your company with the necessary documentation. Your technician, Edgar, was dispatched and arrived quickly. He was able to diagnose the problem, repair the lock and open the door. I'm sure that to you, that is his job description but to us, he was a life saver. We had driven 2 1/2 hours to get there. This is my go-to place to make copies of house keys and small lock keys. It is easily accessible by…read moretransit, and everyone there is friendly, fast, and helpful. I've never had to wait more than a few minutes before it's my turn, and the process of key-copying is also pretty fast. The last time I came, I copied 7 keys, which took less than 10 minutes. Since I come on a recurring basis, I reuse their old key rings and ask them not to give me new ones. It's one less thing for me to throw away, and it helps save them money and keep them in business. If I need to copy keys again in the future, I'll definitely be coming back. You might say this is the "key" to a good copying experience.

He was so kind and genuinely cared about my situation; my car was broken into, stolen, then abandoned nearby. No broken windows either. They did it electronically, reprogramming my key fob in the process, and punching my lock in so I couldn't bypass it with my key. Apparently they're showing people how to do it on social media especially (the American-owned) TikTok and they won't take the videos down. They left all of my windows down and I couldn't turn on my car to put them back up again. I called around told my story and everytime I was quoted outrageous pricing after telling them what happened, which car I drove, and of course being a woman. It's really disgusting how some men treat women when it comes to cars & if they think you're desperate for help; they were trying to charge me car note prices to reprogram a simple car fob. Smh. But not Friendly Locksmith! It was affordable and fair. Roy came same day and ASAP after calling him & he reprogrammed my fob in about 10 minutes. I was able to put my windows back up and park my car back in my car port instead of on the street after having my car towed. He also helped me take my battery out of the car, because they like to repeatedly steal cars if it's easy for them (they'll have to tow it away or bring a battery with them next time ).
