We hired Jeff to help us determine the best hardware solution for a swinging door in our kitchen. It was a very tricky job. He got in touch with us right away and I sent him photos of the door and what I thought we needed. I wish there had been a little more clarification beforehand about total cost, and I think this is partly my issue for assuming everything was included in the re-keying/cost of new keys estimate that I was given (and that is listed here on yelp) - there was no mention of the added cost of labor when I spoke to Jeff on the phone. Not a big deal in the long run, but worth mentioning because it did confuse me a bit when I was handed the final bill, and could have been avoided easily with a little more clarification up front when services were discussed initially. I have contacted Bovie twice and had great experiences both times, and Jeff never even made a dollar. The first time my pin-code lock on my front door ran out of battery. Jeff was on his way to help me when my handyman responded with my spare key. I called Jeff and he said he was happy I was able to get in - no mention of a call-out charge. I had rented a UHAUL and was moving stuff into storage - There was a padlock on the back of th UHAUL and sure enough I locked the keys in the back it.
