Daniel was a pleasure to have come over and help us with our little lock problem. He was friendly and efficient; even helped to apply the $50 for $30 discount coupon on our bill. Definitely call him if you ever get locked out. He's quick and reliable. Thanks again for your help, Daniel read more

Daniel's an angel and came out same-day and worked into the night to rekey the locks in our new home. He was fast and efficient and explained whenever he found a hiccup to let me know what my options were in terms of quality and cost. Would recommend him in a heartbeat! read more

Even in the wee hours of Sunday morning, Daniel responded within minutes and was able to get into my door even faster than he responded (made me wonder whether I need new doors...). The price was very fair -- I highly recommend him! read more

Excellent service. Daniel was very helpful and fast. I locked myself out of my house and needed a lockout service. At first he said it would take 45 minutes but it ended up being half that before he got to my house, and he even beat me there. I would definitely call him again because he is fast and professional. Most places were closed because it was after I got off work, but not Daniel- he was able to help me even after 7PM! Thanks Daniel!! read more

Great customer service. He was very quick in arriving. Great in communicating. Did a job well done. Trustworthy. Thanks!

Daniel is amazing! We were locked out of our truck during the Warriors Championship parade. He show up in less then an hour and us on our way in 20 mins. Three other locksmiths told us it would be a 3-4 hour wait just to get to us. If you need help call Daniel the Locksmith! read more

Daniel was very professional and responsive. Would use him again in a heartbeat.

One evening, with no warning, my door key could not be removed from the lock on a wood-framed sliding door. I was leaving for several days and was anxious to get this repaired. I called Daniel on a Monday morning, and he picked-up immediately. I explained the situation and he said he could come by in about 90 minutes. When I gave him the address (in an Alameda marina) he balked, saying he didn't work on boats. I explained a little more and offered to send a photo. He called me back immediately and said he'd "accept the challenge." He arrived promptly as agreed and easily fixed the problem--as well as explaining what he was doing and giving me a few pointers!! He was prompt, friendly, competent, and fairly priced. When needed, I'll call him again in a flash! read more

Excellent service! Give honest quote, come on schedule, and deliver fast service! Highly recomended! Thank you very much Danniel

Top class professional locksmith service. Responded in 5 mins, arrived 10 mins later, service completed in 30 mins. can't beat that.

When I called Daniel he answered right away. He told me it would take him only about 25 minutes to get but she showed up in 10 minutes! He got us in the house with in 5 minutes. He also asked to verify that I live here, which is awesome. Excellent customer service. Thanks! read more

He was wonderful, accommodating, and professional. As with any locksmith situation, it was a last minute emergency and I couldn't have asked for a better person to work with. Thanks Daniel for all of your help after a travel nightmare! read more

I was headed out for a run today when I grabbed the wrong set of spare keys and accidentally locked myself out of my apartment. Oops! Unable to reach my landlord, I searched for locksmiths using Google home services (thankfully I had my phone on me!). Because it was Sunday, I was worried most businesses would be closed or take a long time to respond. Not Daniel! He responded right away via text and then followed up with a phone call. I cross-referenced him on Yelp, was relieved to see he had great reviews, AND he was offering a Yelp deal. I asked him if he would be willing to honor the Yelp deal and he said he would be happy to and would arrive in about 15 minutes. We made small talk for about 5 minutes while he jiggled my lock open. He was very professional and confirmed I was a resident of the location we were breaking into by having me show a photo ID. I appreciated this -- I guess there are some nuts who pay locksmiths to break into other people's homes?! Daniel accepted all forms of credit cards through an app on his phone. I paid him and he was on his way -- easy peasy! While calling a locksmith is never at the top of my list of Things I Want To Do, if I find myself in a situation where I'm locked out again, I'll definitely call Daniel! read more

Reed Brothers and others are too busy. Wanted to book into the following week. Daniel came out the next day for us to fix a faulty lock and was less costly than the others. He will be our regular locksmith for our building now. read more

My Girlfriend (who i love) is perpetually running late. Today she was exceptionally late and requested that i drive her to the bart station, me being half asleep hopped to it and threw on what ever was in reach and darted out the door. We had a pleasant ride to the station, kissed goodbye and everything, drove back home with thoughts of sleeping a bit more (i work nights) only to realize my keys were locked inside. FML! i called around and to my surprise most locksmiths were all booked up or could only get to me in the evening. i was starting to give up hope, but figured i'd try one more guy, Daniel (Hero, as my GF referred to him) picks up, No nonsense, just the facts, respectful, clinical, which is just what you need when you find yourself in this sort of situation. He gave me a quote and was at my place within ten minutes, and i was in my place within fifteen. I was happy to pay him for his services he was prompt, professional, polite, did no damage and got me out of the pickle i was in. I highly recommend this guy. Thanks Daniel. read more

Friendly and very professional! Appreciated Daniel's quick response when I inquired about the need to have a lock replaced. Service was fast and dependable. He was respectful by removing his shoes to enter our downstairs space and is a really nice guy. Highly recommended! read more

I locked myself out Sunday morning and needed a lock smith right away. Daniel was very responsive. He told me he was currently helping another person but that he would be available in about an hour. He then called me about half an hour later with a 15-min ETA, which I found to be really helpful since the last thing I needed was to keep wondering when I'll get back in! While he was here, I asked him a question about my lock being a bit sticky, and he helped me fix that issue with no extra charge. Daniel is GREAT. read more

I have to admit, was kind of skeptical of all the great reviews. Nonetheless, called Daniel to come out and help re-key some really old locks in our new home. Communication was great, Daniel explained what we had and how it works (yes, the locks were that old) and re-keyed our home. Daniel is legit and his service is excellent (and his price was very reasonable). No need to look any further!! read more

Daniel was great! He came in 20 minutes on a Sunday! Incredible! Reasonable price. Very knowledgeable, honest, friendly and professional. I would absolutely recommend him. He clearly takes pride in his business and wants his customers to be happy. This was a far superior experience than when I hired a locksmith from a big company. I was locked out of my car in Oakland, and I am extremely grateful for Daniel's quick arrival. My husband was trying to fix my French doors to my studio because it wouldn't lock. He did something and broke the mechanism so it wouldn't open. Daniel came to the rescue. He had to saw one of the latching mechanisms to get in. He adjusted the handles and was able to get it to lock without having to replace the whole French door mechanism which is expensive. Yay, now I can get back to work. Daniel was able to come within a I called and showed up when he said he would. He's very friendly and professional read more

Daniel the Locksmith was a blessing when my partner and I locked ourselves out. When we called him, he gave us a clear, no-bs estimate about how much the job would cost (lower than we expected to pay!) and how long we would have to wait. Most amazingly, he asked if we had a safe location to wait- this meant so much to my partner and me. He arrived 15 minutes earlier than his estimate (so impressive!) then quickly and efficiently got us back into our apartment. He kept us at ease throughout the exchange, joking with us and just being the nicest man ever. He also asked us to prove that the apartment was ours by showing him some mail or ID once he unlocked the door. This was such a simple security measure and it made us feel so safe! The locksmith that we called before Daniel was rude, dishonest and actually frightening. He initially told us that the minimum cost of the job was $50, but he refused to tell us a maximum. Despite his rudeness, we agreed to let him come give us an more detailed estimate because he said that if we didn't agree with the estimate, we could decline his services. Seconds later we received a call from the rude locksmith's dispatcher who said that the minimum was now $130 (she also refused to give us a maximum), and that was way out of our price range! We told the dispatcher as such, and she said she would call the locksmith and then call us back. The dispatcher did not call us back and the locksmith arrived at our lobby door. When we asked to clarify the price, he immediately became aggressive and very angry. We told him we were not interested in his services and shut the lobby door. His dispatcher then called us multiple times over the next hour. We ignored the calls and blocked the number. I have shared this scary story because doing so made me feel better but also because I just want to emphasize that Daniel is the absolute best. We have saved his number in our phones in case we get locked out and so should you! read more

I was having intermittent problems unlocking my deadbolt and when Daniel came he very quickly identified the cause of the problem and fixed it in short order. Very nice and professional! Came out quick even though it was early in the morning. Cheeper than other people!

Daniel came to my house and rekeyed my car very quickly! They had become so stripped I couldn't even start the car. Daniel is awesome--so friendly and responsive. He was able to pick our mailbox lock and install a new one super quickly, and called when he was going to be a few minutes later than when he originally told me. Awesome guy with a great Israeli accent, too :) read more

Daniel was available on short notice to re-key and consult on various locks on my apartment and garage. Unprompted he suggested various ways that I could do this and save money, even refusing work that I asked about, telling me how I could do one thing without him, and that another wouldn't significantly help me. He was prepared to do all of the work same-day. Also, I found him gracious and friendly. In my opinion, first-rate customer service. read more

What a great locksmith! Very reliable, prompt, and courteous. Prices are reasonable. I would recommend him for anyone who needs locksmith services. read more

Daniel, while quite pleasant, according to additional repairs reviewed by two independent locksmiths, misrepresented himself. I would strongly recommend that if you have had any replacement work provided by him, installation, that you have it evaluated by another locksmith. The material he provided me was faulty, it broke and was not fixable. The cost for the replacement was equal to what I had previously paid and substantially safer. When I initially spoke with Daniel he would not honor a 12 month guarantee. I am more than disappointed and intend to resolve this in small claims court. Both of the locksmith's that I received estimates from told me this was the cheapest possible lock. I live alone and did not agree to an inexpensive lock. read more

After finding Daniel The Locksmith on the Internet, I called him from work and he offered to meet me at my house the same day. He first told me over the phone he would give me an estimate after he surveyed each lock and then he would quote me a price. The price Daniel quoted was within my budget and I commissioned him to re-key all six locks the same day of meeting him. Daniel was amazing, he arrived on time re-keyed six locks in record time and gave me extra keys at no additional cost. He is very a pleasant person, extremely appreciative and was a pleasure to do business with. I give Daniel The Locksmith two thumbs up. He is an exceptional locksmith. I would recommend him to anyone. Thank you Daniel read more

Do yourself a favor if you're in locked out (or in?) and call Daniel. There are some really shady locksmiths out there but Daniel is straight up professional and lovely -- and was at my house on Alameda within one hour of my call (5:30 pm on a weekday), and was up front about costs (totally reasonable, and explained, 'if this works, it will cost X, but if we have to do this, is will cost X.' I paid $90 for a straightforward fix + his travel costs.). Super fast, super friendly. Thank you, Daniel! read more
