Cool guy. My boss had her house keys stolen from her car in a locked gated condominium complex last night and she is pretty sure she heard the person checking the lock on her front door in the middle of the night. Scared, she stayed home from work and found Daniel on Yelp. He came and needed a key to change the lock. She didn't have one and called me. Daniel waited patiently for me, as I was coming from Union City. He didn't charge her extra. Soon as I walked in, my puppy went running up to him and I thought oh god he's going to freak out but he was really cool and was petting him and dog-talking him. Major points for that. Very kind, professional and friendly. The whole thing was really reasonably priced. He was done within 20 minutes. Highly recommend. read more

Needing a little protection and having failed at installing a new lock from Home Depot the night before, I decided to have the old lock rekeyed. I called several local spots and chose Daniel due to affordable price and his pleasant, professional phone manner. Coming promptly (he was in the vicinity, great luck!), I presented him with the other lock and asked if, for an increased price, he would trade it out. He did, but refused to up the price, even replacing one part and, much to my embarrassment, hewed out an area that I hadn't noticed was necessary (no wonder I couldn't get it done myself last night in the dark... duh!). Even with the extra work Daniel refused a "go out to dinner" $20. tip but I convinced him that was only fair. I hope he does because he deserved a treat. He's knowledgeable, quick, pleasant, honest and very professional. I'm glad to have his card for future help. I can't recommend him highly enough. I've put him in my phone in case I lock myself out or something... He's terrific. read more

Daniel always provided top notch quality service. I first meet Daniel back in January 2020 for an issue. He took care of it immediately and very cost effective. This same issue came up and Daniel came to rescue without a question and fixed at no charge because he guarantees his work. A man of his work and excellent customer service. Thank you Daniel read more

Called Daniel for a quote to replace my store lock and his pricing was 30% less than the other quotes I got. He told me he was going to another job and won't be able to help me until 45 minutes later. 30 minutes later I got a text from him that he is on his way...wow, very impressed. Daniel was quick to replace my lock and also gave me 5 duplicate keys at no charge, including 2 keys with "DO NOT DUPLICATE." Bottomline, Daniel is on my only contract for Locksmiths. read more

Our smart lock was locking VERY loading after the painters had taken it off the door and reinstalled it. Daniel arrived on time and stayed until the job was done, taking the lock apart down to the smallest pieces to fix it. The lock now works like new again. read more

Daniel was the only locksmith in the Bay Area that was able to help us with our imported front door. After contacting at least 7 locksmiths using Yelp and Thumbtack and getting rejected because they were unfamiliar with our type of door, Daniel came through!! He not only replied super fast and was able to come the within the next days, he was on time, wearing a mask, super friendly and took the time to explain the issues with the door. But most importantly, he knew what to do when no one else would even try. He was able to get us a replacement cylinder from abroad, dealt with the supplier himself and got the correct part delivered and installed in a few days. We thought we had to replace the entire door but thanks to Daniel, we were able to change the lock only, saving us thousands of dollars. Look no further, Daniel got you whatever your needs are!!! read more

Daniel's phone went to voicemail when I called, but he called me right back. This was a huge relief as I was in panic mode after my purse was stolen and my ONLY car key was in there. Within 30 minutes we connected and after about another 30 he was in my car and had made a key. He de-stressed a very stressful situation! He's polite, fast, professional...and to be unprofessional on my part, he's quite handsome. ;) 100% recommend!! PS) I paid in cash because all my cards were gone. I had brand new $100 bills and three stuck together, which I didn't notice. As I was about to leave, he flagged me down to give me the $200 back I accidentally overpaid him. THANK YOU AGAIN DANIEL!! read more

Awesome help he came at 3am and helped me out to get back into my apartment! Great service and will call again! Also was a wonderful attitude at such a late time read more

Daniel was very courteous and responsive and met me outside my apartment quickly after I contacted him that I was locked out (about 20-30 minutes). He made me feel quite confident that although my door was a difficult door to pick, he had many ways to get me in and that I would be in in no time. It took him approximately 5-10 minutes to get me into my apartment and then politely requested that I provide him proof that this was in fact my residence (which I actually appreciated.) The entire experience made me feel well-cared for and happy. Will definitely call upon him again if I find myself in need of a locksmithy dude. read more

Daniel was helpful and understanding from the moment he answered my distress call. He was at my apartment in 15 minutes and had the lock open in 5 minutes, all while explaining what he was doing and why. Then he asked me for proof that I lived there. I showed him some mail, and he double-checked everything to make sure I wasn't lying. Plus my dog didn't bark at him. She barks at everyone. Maybe he's an angel, I dunno. Didn't see any wings, but he might tape them down so people won't be alarmed. Service: 10/10 Price: better than anyone else I called Personality: 11/10 If you're locked out, call Daniel. He'll unlock your lock, and maybe also your heart. (Good thing my girlfriend didn't meet him.) read more

Daniel is a life saver! After a security breach by a crazy person (really scary situation). I couldn't sleep through the night so I immediately inquired with a couple locksmiths about changing my locks. Daniel was quick to respond and was able to come and change my locks without question and ultimelty provided me piece of mind. He was sweet, caring and reassured me that I'd be perfectly safe. He was afforable and actually was able to give me a great deal. Not once did he try to sell me unnecessary products; even though I was feeling vulnerable and probably would have bought them all. I appreciated his prompt customer service. Daniel is a life saver and a true professional. Thank you read more

I've used Daniel a few times for our business and he's always been great, so today when my boyfriend locked his keys in his car, I knew who to call. Daniel picked up the phone right away and arrived at my house within a half hour. My boyfriend has a German car and it was difficult to get into but Daniel did it. Unfortunately, as I was dealing with the payment, my boyfriend put his pants back in the car with the keys and locked himself out again! I couldn't believe it but Daniel happily got his tools out and opened the door again. He didn't ask for more money which was appreciated. Daniel is an honest, good guy and he really knows what he's doing. Thanks for coming to our rescue! I'd recommend you to anyone who needs a locksmith. read more

I went downstairs to do laundry and locked myself out of my apartment. I was in the middle of cooking, my phone was about to die and since I had just started a load in the dryer and could see that there were many people in line after me, I needed someone to help me as fast as possible. I called Daniel and he said that since I'm in Oakland, he would be able to meet within 20 minutes. He showed up 13 minutes later and got me back into my apartment in about 2 minutes. A very friendly and professional guy, but unfortunately it seemed like I only met him in passing, that's how fast he worked. I was able to get my clothes out of the dryer in time and get back to cooking! I hope I never lock myself out of someplace again, but if I do, I know who I will call! read more

Tried calling several locksmith, but they all seem busy. I found Daniel on Yelp and called him late in the evening, trying to make an appointment, and he respond immediately. He is really friendly, and patient in explaining different options of locks that best suit my need, without trying to sell me expensive locks. I ended changing three deadbolt locks with him. He's just really down-to-earth and knowledgeable for the job with such a fair price better than any other locksmith that I've called. Totally will use his service again. There was an incident about the yelp coupon ($30 for $50) which I bought. Daniel wasn't aware that I've already paid $30 beforehand, but he still believe me and gave me the discount. I later went back to check my credit card, I INDEED WAS CHARGED by yelp for $30. I hope Daniel see this review and check back with Yelp for the payment. read more

Daniel was fast, kind, and professional. He really knows his profession. Our car is so old that the dealer didn't have a code to make a new key. This guy! He is great. First of all, his photos give you a great impression of who he is. Friendly, talkative, and engaging, he was able to juggle something on his schedule and meet me at a lockout that I experienced at my fourplex on Octavia St. in Oakland. He drilled out the lock but the door remained stuck closed. He worked dilligently and got the job done. He is my locksmith from now on. Highly recommended read more
