This was one of my bookmarks to try and it is a Fetch bonus points. So it was a win win for me. Very clean place and the waitress is really friendly and attentive but was camera shy. Candy is really good for the establishment. She brings fun to the table. The beef and shrimp wonton was tasty. I guess very good, because I ate them all The pineapple rice with chicken and shrimp was so good. The perfect amount of chunks of very sweet pineapple with a lot of shrimp and chicken. The generous portion was to much for me to finish. I decided late to get some chicken wings to go and have for later. Definitely a place I'll return too. We came here for lunch and ordered 3 Atlantic Salmon Poke bowl. As usual it was delicious. The portion of the rice with the salmon is perfect. The salmon was fresh, as well as the lettuce, cucumbers, and avocados. The corn and edamame are always great additions. The seaweed salad tasted fresh as well. The salmon never tasted fishy! Have been here several times before for the hibachi steak and shrimp meal, but today, I decided to mix it up and try something new. Went with one order of the classic California rolls and two of the Shrimp Tempura rolls. SOO GOOD!!! First off, the Shrimp Tempura serving size was soooo generous! Not to mention, it was drizzled with eel sauce that tasted amazing!!! I also got a side of the hibachi noodles, which are always a staple in my house. Tried this place for lunch today. The kids ordered a sushi donut, sushi pizza, and sushi burrito -- all tasted decent, but portions were small for the price. My husband's ramen was just okay. Service was friendly, but the food took a while to arrive. Overall, not worth the drive or the cost, so we won't be back. read more

We've door dashed sushi before from Dan zai and it's always delicious. This is our first time dining in. To start we had pork fried pot stickers, California roll and shrimp tempura roll. All of it was presented beautifully and tasted delicious. For our entrees we had pineapple fried rice with chicken and chicken hibachi with both fried rice and noodles ($1 extra to get both). The pineapple fried rice was great. The hibachi was a huge amount of food and delicious, I just wish the chicken was white meat rather than thigh. The atmosphere was very pleasant as was the service, so attentive! What was especially nice was that you didn't have a set server, everyone was willing to help. Dan zai has become our go to place when we are crazing healthy Asian food. I grew up in Taiwan and the menu has a lot of classic Taiwanese dishes to choose from. We had crab Rangoon: crispy wrapping paper with very soft cheese inside. Delightful. Then we had danzai noodle: great broth, nice fish ball and minced pork. I also got Taiwanese beef noodle: the beef was flavorful and tender. The broth is tasty. We finished the meal with homemade chocolate cake: soft and spongy with the right amount of whipped cream. For appetizers, we had their special King Caterpillar (seared salmon with lobster salad), and fried oysters. They have extensive menu so it's always a challenge to decide what to get for entrees. I was craving for noodles so got the Taiwanese minced pork noodles. My husband loved poke bowl, so he got the salmon poke bowl. Everything was delicious. In the past we've tried their juicy dumplings, pancake wrap, and duck bao. They're all good. The place was nicely designed and very clean. Service was friendly and efficient. The sushi was okay. I was a little disappointed and what I received. I normally always get Salmon and Philly rolls so I assumed they would come with cucumber but neither of the rolls did. This is the best family/kid friendly restaurant I've been to. The highchairs are clean, they give free plastic cups with lids and straw for kids to drink water from, they have chopstick helpers for kids to use, and they gave my kids free cookie snacks. All the staff are nice and friendly. The food is good too. The minced pork noodles and pork chop tasted great. The sauce they gave to go along with the avocado salad is addicting and pairs perfectly with salad. The sushi pizza tasted great but I wish the size was larger. If you're looking for a great ramen place I wouldn't recommend the seafood ramen since for me it just tasted ok. Wouldn't recommend this place for soup dumplings since there wasn't that much soup in them. The coconut shrimp were nice and crunchy. I would definitely go back again to eat. read more

Saw the spectacular reviews and decided to come in for Ramin on a cold day. Did not like the food at all, we get a lot of Ramen, and this did not taste like Ramin, to be honest Spicy broth beef Ramen was not spicy and had no beef. The two pieces of small beef I had were 85% fat not edible. The veggie spicy Ramen literally had no salt Or flavor . Our server never came back and never asked if we liked it or if we needed something and we had to literally wave hands and wait for hot sauce, which was hard to get more. We had to call over a manager just to get the check and we told her our experience and she gave us a discount but I don't think we're gonna come back and we do not suggest this to anyone I understand if the place is busy, but the place was completely empty and the server did not care at all read more

It's casual, so no need to dress up for it. We had Yummy Yummy Roll, Angel Roll, Naruto Roll, Grilled Beef Rice Bowl, Beef Bao, Juicy Pork Dumplings, Miso Soup, Thai Boba Tea, & Blueberry Soda. Everything was very good. The Beef Rice Bowl took some "jazzing up," but that really a preference thing. I added cherry blossom sauce, which is like a Thai Chili sauce to it. We arrived near opening time, and the restaurant was not packed which allowed us to be seated right away. Our starters arrived quickly, and we found the dumplings and scallion pancake to be enjoyable. But I personally wished the scallion pancake had been a bit crispier. The presentation of the shrimp pineapple fried rice was amazing, served inside a pineapple. The flavor of the fried rice was exceptional, and was seasoned very well. The big portion allowed us to share the dish. This place missed the mark multiple times with their food. It was a weird in between traditional and non traditional Asian food without a full commitment to either. It's a traditional Asian food desert here minus the dim sum places so I was really hoping it would go well. Unfortunately it went bad all the way through. The wonton soup completely missed the mark and tasted more like American Chinese wonton. The duck scallion pancake was dry. And the soup dumplings... oh.. my.. God. How???? The wrappers were too thick, the tops were dried and cracked, and then the wrappers were also cracked, leaking out the soup! I never not finished my soup dumplings but I gave up here. We ordered the Taiwanese style beef noodle soup, juicy pork soup dumplings, Hawaiian combo poke bowl, and mango snow ice. We enjoyed every single dish; everything had its own burst of flavor and was so satisfying to consume. The service was great, and our waitress was extremely patient and attentive to all of the customers. I saw how well she was able to deal with the customers next to us and I have the utmost respect for how she patiently noted down all the alterations that made to their dishes. We enjoyed our avocado salad (the dressing is different than anything I've had but very tasty!). The steamed pork buns were still cold inside (and look like the ones you can buy frozen at Asian grocery stores). Luckily they offered to replace them which we declined. They removed them from our final bill which we appreciated. The Taiwanese noodle soup was tasty but we both thought the broth could have more flavor. The sushi tacos were excellent! Stuffed full of high quality salmon and tuna with avocado, mango, corn and some wasabi cream sauce. We found the prices here to be super reasonable as our two mains and salad came to under 40 bucks before tip! Easy parking out front in the lot and it's BYOB. My lab had dinner at Dan Zai after bowling at Bowlero just a couple min away. For appetizers we got the sushi nachos and vegetable dumplings, which were interestingly green and both were very delicious. I personally ordered the shrimp tempura fried rice which was served with three large pieces of shrimp tempura separately from a container of rice and a scrambled egg with onions. The shrimp tempura was very tasty and satisfyingly crunchy. I wish that there was more in the rice besides the onions and egg, such as some vegetables or meat. My husband ordered the shrimp tempura roll which was pretty big but only 5 pieces . We also ordered the scallion's pancakes which were just okay the oil tasted off . Pork Bao buns were a bit dry .We also ordered the soup dumplings which really weren't that juicy . Those took 20 minutes to make but didn't come out hot at all..
