Fresh fish and a good assortment of sushi rolls. Our waitress gave us some free dishes, like edamame to start, a sample of fried sushi rolls, and some mochi ice cream. She and, I think, the owner (lady) were very nice. The decor is tasteful and plenty of seating on Sunday night. Hard to get parking in the lot but can find street parking. A bit pricey vs. a place in Westfield.

Delivery Order: After a disappointing experience recently at a different Sushi place, I was craving for some good Sushi, and I am really grateful I opted for Ginger Sushi for my order. Everything I ordered tasted great, and the price was not that bad either. Delivery was quick, and everything tasted fresh too.

This was a lunch stop and found it to be good, predictable sushi place. The service great. From the moment I walked in, until I left, it was a good visit. The food was what I was hoping for, a tempura/ sushi bento box and it was good as well. The decor? Well, let's just say they're minimalists. Overall, I'd go back. Parking in a tight rear lot, seem to take most cards.

Got takeout delivery from Ginger Sushi - won't be ordering from here again. Their sushi was average at best and overly gloppy. The rice seemed more like regular rice than sushi rice. The seared white tuna roll lacked white tuna that was seared. The spicy tuna tartar is actually just a huge scoop of their spicy tuna mix used for sushi. On the positive side, everything was really fresh. The fish itself tasted very good and our order was delivered extremely fast. The meal was well packaged too.

Omakase delights. Ginger sushi is the best!

Our family event could not have been more delicious, creative and beautiful! Thank you one and all at Ginger Sushi!

FAVORITE SUSHI SPOT EVER!! I come to Ginger Sushi pretty often with my family, but today I decided to bring some friends along to try it out for the first time! We went on a Friday afternoon and had no trouble finding parking in the back. We were greeted kindly by everyone and we didn't need to wait to be seated. The ambience was very clean and peaceful as well. My friend ordered the Chicken Teriyaki Special which came with sliced peppers, onions, carrots and a side of rice. The Chicken Teriyaki was amazing and the sauce was so flavorful! She also ordered the Yaki Udon and we were obsessed with how juicy the noodles and chicken tasted!! Then, I ordered my go to sushi order which consists of Shrimp Tempura, California, Sweet Potato, Avocado, and Cucumber Rolls. As always, the sushi always hits the spot and tastes DELICIOUS!! (My friend, who isn't much of a sushi fan, was raving about how good the sushi was!) Overall, my friends and I had a 5/5 experience at Ginger Sushi and loved how attentive our waitress was. She even served us some yummy mochi ice cream (strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla) on the house as dessert. My friends and I will definitely be coming back and HIGHLY RECOMMEND Ginger Sushi!!

The best sushi spot near my home! The sashimi is always so fresh, the sushi rolls taste great, and we always get two free fried California rolls. The salmon, tuna, and shrimp always taste so great. The service is amazing, everyone is so nice, it's such a cute spot with high quality sushi!

Oishii roll, cross section, quite tasty

Definitely a good option in this area. Friendly service, and very fresh sushi. Miso soup, salad, and Edamame came out very fast. The miso soup was better than average, but the salad was a disappointment. Pale iceberg that was somewhat saved by a very fresh ginger dressing. Only worth getting if you really, really want a salad. Edamame was good. I was a little suspicious when the sushi came, because the knife work on my roll looked less beautiful than I am used to on the West Coast. But once I opened my Oichii roll, I saw that inside it was beautiful, and it really was fresh and delicious. The salmon here is fresh and buttery like everyone has said. The avocado sushi was also excellent, very buttery Haas chunks. The chicken teriyaki and yakitori, I'm told, we're fine. We were brought a complementary order of deep-fried California roll, which I could have done without. (I don't get deep frying raw fish and think it's nasty). But we were Very pleasantly surprised to be brought complementary mochi ice cream afterwards. The vanilla and strawberry were both quite good. The one really gross note was the unisex bathroom, With a urinal that was not draining. Overall this is a very reasonable restaurant, with simple decor And very solid sushi.

The restaurant has a futuristic feel. You sit at your own booth while food travels around on a conveyor belt, ready to be picked up. I believe it was around $36 per person for all you can eat, and drinks were included, although refills were not. You can order up to 5 food items every 5 minutes, and your order is delivered directly to your table by either a little car or a robot, how cool is that?! Each party gets 90 minutes to dine. Dessert was a separate cost for the ice cream, which I believe was around $2, but there were also cakes traveling on the belt that were included in the all you can eat price, and they were tasty! The entire experience was so much fun and interesting, and the food was really good too! My personal favorites were the hibachi steak and shrimp tempura sushi. I can't wait to go back! This is definitely a place worth your time and money!

The quality is decent, but of course do not expect much either. Still a wonderful experience. I normally order salmon anything and was pleased at their options. I hope to come back!

I've eaten at Ottoyee for months now, and each experience has been incredibly delicious. However, the only thing is that the wait time can run very long. Not for the food to arrive, but for placing the order. We tried to get the attention of the waiter on staff multiple times, but was either ignored or they were behind the screen attending to something else. The wait time was around 15-20 minutes, but this is likely attributed to the small staff. Otherwise though, they were incredibly kind and knowledgeable of the menu and we still had a delicious experience as usual.

I so wanted to love this place, and was so excited to try it when reading the menu. Otoro? Ramen?…read moreGyudon? It all sounded like the perfect restaurant, but I'm really hesitant to return. Upon entertaining on a weekend evening, there were a few tables with patrons but not too busy. The restaurant did seem a bit understaffed with only one person taking orders / bringing food out, making it difficult to flag down this one person to successfully take our order and ask for anything additional throughout the night. Gyudon: for the price, we were really surprised at how small of a portion this was. It was not only in a small bowl, but the meat was layered on top perfectly deceiving you to think that there was more than there actually was. The majority of this dish was rice, and with limited sauce at that. As displayed on the menu images it was to be served with a runny egg, but unfortunately we got a fully cooked one (disappointing, as we were looking for something to mix with the rice!) Sushi: We got a 3 rolls and they were just alright. They were pretty small in size, with less rice than I'm used to (which is something I do like - I would rather more fish than rice!) With us getting spicy salmon, spicy tuna, and spicy scallop - they all kind of tasted the same, so I wish the fish wasn't as heavily masked with spicy mayo. Ramen: I got the black garlic ramen, and it wasn't the best, but wasn't the worst. I've purchased fresh ramen packages in the supermarket before and it tasted just like that, so it made me disappointed knowing I could achieve the same at home. The soup itself was extremely rich and fatty, and the charsiu had no flavor whatsoever leaving much to be desired. The main reason I'm rating this so low is upon having my last bites of sushi, I could tell something was off. I don't recall which specifically I had but I made a statement that it was extremely fishy and off putting. Fast forward later that night, I was hunched over the toilet vomiting with stomach pain - and I can deduct that the sushi was the culprit. I might consider trying Ottoyee again due to the great deals they have listed on food delivery apps, but the sushi quality (quite literally) put a bad taste in my mouth.

I was in the mood for Sushi and I decided to give this restaurant a try because I live about a mile away. I ordered two yellowtail rolls and two salmon rolls to pick up over the phone. It was $32. I drove home looking forward to eating because I was hungry. As soon as I opened the container, it smelled terrible! I don't know why I did...but...I ate one piece anyway, and I got a headache from it! Not only did it smell terrible, it just didn't look right, and it was room temperature. I went back to the restaurant and asked who was in charge. Nobody said anything. Finally a younger guy said what can we help you with and I told him this fish is bad. They really didn't argue with me. To their credit, they gave me my money back. I still decided to leave a negative review because shame on this place for even trying to sell that to somebody. How could you possibly sell that sushi to someone and let them walk out the door with it?? I find it hard to believe it was an honest mistake. I feel like since I'm not a frequent customer and they didn't recognize my name or my phone number, they tried to dump the old shit off on me and took their chances with it. Even though they gave me my money back, it was a bad experience and inconvenience. I read many positive reviews here, and I was hoping to get that experience. Unfortunately, I did not.
