Special Candy Crush Roll

Another hidden gem of Cranford! Was looking for sushi on a hot summer night and this place hit the spot. Tons of variety in the menu and very fresh sushi. The gyoza special was FANTASTIC and beautifully presented. I would order more for my meal and be happy! Our server was attentive without being too present. Always came when we needed and was very kind and kept our table clean when he noticed our ice bucket was leaking for our wine! this BYOB sushi restaurant is reasonably priced and I will definitely return!

Awesome dinner tonight at Mizu Sushi. Plenty of seats open and we were seated right away. Service was quick and attentive, and food was so fresh and delicious. I really enjoyed my chicken soba stir fry! Good quality ingredients and great flavor!! Can't wait to come back for another great meal.

Out or Control roll w Truffle Oil & Big Mac - a must !!

Good sushi! Duck rolls were ok, they were very heavy. Soft shell crab app was delicious along with yellowtail jalapeño. Sushi was delicious especially the Big Mac sandwich (less mango) and the truffle was so different!

Ordered take out on a Thursday night, was told 35-45 minutes I thought that was a bit long so I showed up in 25 and it was just ready. Awesome sushi, very fresh , many specialty rolls to choose from. I lived in town for 5 years and first time trying. I ordered shrimp gyoza I felt could of been cooked a bit longer but flavor was great! I will definitely visit again.

Sweet potato roll/ Sweet Lady roll

Stopped by on a Friday night (with resi) to meet friends and it was nice! Staff was super attentive and our waters were always being refilled. It's BYOB, which was nice. We each ordered a bunch of rolls- passion, tiger, crazy salmon, sweet lady and sweet potato roll. Everything was good- we also shared a vegetable pad thai. That was pretty delicious! Nice local spot -

Lunchtime again 7 months later, and keeping my review at 4 stars! Prices have gone up, but still sushi and cooked items are still fresh, tasty, and prepared with care! Nice to have a small yet satisfying salad included with my 3 roll combo! Look forward to dining again!

Salmon roll and crazy salmon roll

Ordered a crazy salmon roll + salmon toll for take out. Service was good, and my order came out in about 10 minutes (it wasn't too busy at the restaurant when I placed my order). Salmon was very good, buttery, and not fishy at all. Fish-to-rice ratio was great as well. Wasn't really a fan of the tempura crunch they had on top of the crazy salmon roll, but everything else was great! Hoping to return soon to try out some other items they have!

Yummy sushi and entrees with the fastest delivery service known to mankind! You know your food will always be hot and fresh! Or cold in fresh if that makes more sense!

3 roll lunch special

Consistently attentive, friendly staff and great food - but I came here to say that their lunch special can't be beat. It goes from 11:30am - 3pm and you can get 2 OR 3 rolls with soup AND salad.

small area but it wasnt crowded

Cranford you did it!! You have amazed this native DC chick (from a city with plentiful, amazing food options in a mediocre new city in NJ) with Mizu Sushi! I have searrcccheeedd long and hard for some good sushi in NJ and finallllllllyyyyy it has paid off. Mizu is awesome. List full of very good variety of sushi combos. I loved how this place was accommodating and made substitutions or addons in the sushi. Mizu has an awesome lunch special Mon-Sat 11-3 but outside of that your basic rolls are pretty cheap and even the special rolls are a good price too around $12. I tried the american dream roll (added mango), lobster tempura, and volcano roll. All the sushi was very fresh and flavorful. I feel some other places Ive tried the sushi is bland and falling apart but not the case here. Cute little sushi displays and fast service! Just note its BYOB so make your own lychee martinis and come eat lol.

This spot seems to be a very, very popular local favorite for sushi rolls. I recently saw online…read morethat they're planning to stop accommodating walk-ins and are accepting guests for reservations only. Makes sense, as the restaurant is small and it gets crowded especially on weekends. The restaurant is family run and very friendly. We tried a few rolls and everything was nice and tasty. I saw a sign that they offer omakase on certain days, and would love to try that next time.

I hadn't been to Mr. Bin in over 5 years, and the early experiences I had weren't great. Today's…read morevisit was redeeming! While it's not quite on the level of New York City's omakase spots, it's solid for New Jersey and worth a visit if you're in the area. Standout bites for me were the Otoro and Chu Toro- both beautifully fatty and flavorful - as well as the Hamachi with shishito and the scallop topped with crispy garlic. Other highlights included the Madai (seabream), barracuda, striped jack, and a satisfying bone marrow served with toast. I also tried Kumamoto oysters for the first time in years, and they were a lovely surprise-cleaned properly, topped with a light sauce, and incredibly fresh. The Hokkaido uni was creamy, though slightly more briny and bitter than I personally prefer. Mr. Bin himself mentioned that uni flavor can vary depending on the season. Throughout the meal, Mr. Bin was present and helpful, guiding us toward which fish to try. The fish is delivered fresh twice a week, and the quality really does show. That said, it's still missing that little extra something that sets top-tier omakase apart- the purposeful dot of yuzu sauce, the hidden dab of wasabi under the fish, or a crisp garnish that adds dimension and surprise. Some sushi have this, some don't. The technique is good, the fish is fresh, and the experience was enjoyable- I'd return- but it's a notch below the more elevated experiences you can find in the city. Hence 4 stars. Solid though, and friendly. Nice ambiance inside too, Saturday dinner time it filled up quickly so I recommend a reservation.

We celebrated my husband's birthday here on a Sunday around 7pm and it was busy. We waited about 20…read moreminutes which was not bad. It's designed as a Japanese train. The little train cars that bring your food are super fun, and the conveyor belt has food as well and of course the robots that bring you food as well. This is all you can eat so you pay 1 price for everything. I thought Ramen would be more expensive but it's not, it's included! I think only drinks and desserts are extra. This place had a lot of options and way more than sushi so if you are not a sushi person, there's plenty. To be honest, the mozzarella sticks were some of the best I ever had. I also love Kura sushi which is a very similar revolving sushi bar place so I am comparing it to that. This place relies more on the tablet ordering than the conveyor belt while Kura relies on the conveyor belt. The conveyor belt here had some things labeled, most of it was unlabeled which was a little annoying. Everything at Kura is labeled. Kura is pricing per plate while this place is all you can eat - which I do prefer. I think this place has way more selection while Kura has more or less the same items. I still love this place but overall, I do prefer Kura more. Both places definitely have pros and cons though. The service was great as well. Everyone was friendly and knowledgable. Regardless, I will be back and would recommend.

I came with a party of 4 and was only allowed to order every 5 minutes, as the iPad will time out and not allow you to order again. Understand this might be due to food waste or over ordering. The conveyor belt can use signs, and at some point of times it was only fruits or seaweed salad spinning around. Standouts include salmon, squid and scallops. Concept is cute and restaurant is bright and clean, but I think it becomes tough at an all you can eat when you have to keep waiting to eat or order. Especially if you come hungry!
